I am back 2 years later. This is still my favourite Delos video. That organ music is so majestic and unique. That final shot with the music moving out through the clouds is incredible. Moves me to tears every time!
...Ladies and Gentleman...I've watched all your videos since the start, but Ramukanji on the organ was by far the best... smooth sailing, sunny skies, and tight lines to you all...stay safe...
This for some reason is now one of my favorite episodes. St. Helena is beautiful, and hearing Brian narrating is so calming and relaxing. See you next week.
25:49 My favorite part of the video. This gave me chills. It would have been cool to hear the entire song recreated, singing included, with the organ. The lower notes are warm and rich and the higher notes vibrant and uplifting. The sound quality in there is great and you guys got a great recording of it. I could only imagine how it must have sounded in person.
Living life to it's fullest, is how you live it...and the brothers sure are living life to it's fullest right now! Thanks for taking us along, and showing us what some of us never knew even existed! Be safe in your journey you all!
Delos Crew!!! Love you all!! You never ceases to put a smile on my face, more like a huge grin, 👂 to 👂 :-DI dream to one day, make a passage with you guys and gals, until then, I shall sit back and watch you fine folks cruise the world and be with you in spirit! Love you Delos Crew! Fair winds and following seas!
I don't know how you can make 30 mins feel like 5 mins. Thank you all so much for sharing your story s and life. Cheers to all of you from freezing cold Canada.
In concert with all of the wonderful adventures you share with those of us who can't tag along, you have become a valued "educational" resource too.. Every time you sail to some place new I find myself researching that location too. I'm 66 and I'm learning as you guys are sailing. I'm sure many other people do the same thing. Thank you for the trip.
So I woke up having a bad (work related) dream and then I realized it was "Delos Friday Morning". All better now, great episode, thanks as always. Thumps Up!
Fantastic work Delos Crew ! You have a way of telling a story that teleports the viewer into the heart and soul of the people you meet . Please dont ever change . ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your videos are not just joy to watch, they also educational! Being from Czech Republic and having English as a secondary language (which I am still learning), "makes it that much more enjoyable for me to watch your documentary , It never gets old to watch and listen your conversations in different accents that you guys have, it really brings a color and make your videos, one of a kind!
You outdid yourselves again.I would have liked to see that lobster on top of Brady. Looked like a sea monster!. The Devil fish was spectacular. So graceful, I think you caught it better than anybody else. That fish scratching his head on the rock was neat. never saw that before. You really are showing more of St Helena than any documentary made by anyone. Loved the interview with the Music Couple and their interaction with different cultures. Of course the pipe organ was superb. So much in one video. Thanks for taking so much time editing and capturing so much of the life in St Helena.
the organ is so powerful but yet so beautiful to the ears; what an excellent surprise and it resonated in the cathedral; it must have been amazing in person; awesome surprise waking up with my morning coffee; what an adventure
Your videos leave me happy happy happy!!!! Thank you for taking me along for the ride. No hate, No cynicism. Just joy and wonderment at the delights of life. I mean this in the most complimentary way. You are like children on Christmas morning. Basking in each new place and appreciating the beauty around you. You make me feel 30 years younger each time I join you for the adventure of the day. Thank you.
Thank you all SO much. This was one of my favorite episodes you have gifted to us, and I've watched them all. The way you so professionally edit each with background information and spot on music simply adds to the enjoyment factor. Thank you again. Best site on You Tube in my opinion.
You guys are the best. As soon as I saw there was a new video upload from you I dropped what I was doing and prepared to watch. I grabbed a soda from the fridge, a little snack, and made this youtube window full screen. I sat back and enjoyed watching you explore places I'll never see in person. Thanks so much for sharing. Great video. I watch a lot of cruising videos. Your's are clearly the best.
Yes more video............. thank you to the Delos crew. I look forward to videos every day and soon I hope to join the lifestyle. Thank you again for all the hard editing. E
Great idea to put the camera outside of the vehicle. It gives a much wider point of view. The karaoke was Hilarious. I laughed so hard that I had tears running down my face. The Florestan couple are incredible. Wonderful video.
That is one of my favourite viblogs you guys have done. So tastefully done, careful and gentle with the locals. Well done to the Delos crew, all of you, I like it, like it a lot! :-)
I know you must be sick of hearing it but your videos set the bar higher every time! Amazing from start to finish and from one island to another, Cheers!
You all meet the most cool and interesting people on your travels. I also love the brief history you give associated with the places you visit. True ambassadors to the world. Well done episode once again
Love the pic of Karin on the thumbnail. Do you guys ever stop and realize how lucky you are to be doing this and how many people you make happy? Fair Winds and calm seas!!
I hear your music and your voices and it immediately puts a smile on my face! And that's before the video even gets started. Love you all and the way you do what you do!
W O W! Been waiting a HOLE week for this moment! Got GOOSEBUMPS and chills down the spine (the good kind) when the organ music started! SO AWESOME! And i love the what the guy from Florestan said; "I't might look like a good and forfilling job on paper, but that doesn't meen it forfills you life". F**king A!!!!
What a great video. hearing Ramakanga on a organ was different but it was super hearing it at the end. {sorry if I spelled it wrong} I enjoy each video and cant wait for the next. Fair winds DELOS
I haven't watched in a while , omg the quality and genius editing doesn't stop getting better. Total professional quality stuff here. Congradulations!!

Delos Crew, thank you for sharing your story! Your influence on our lives is amazing and incredible. Know that each of you makes a positive mark on our lives in ways that are incomprehensible to you. As you did, Brian, I hope to one day soon make the transition from consultant--living the world we have been told to live--to truly living. Best of luck guys
Okay. So I’ve been following you guys for years but never commented. Your dive in St. Helena is one of the most awesome things I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing this and all of yours adventures.
Still a ways to go, watching all of the SV Delos videos- started from the beginning during this dang crisis... then tonight I watched this video. Very special. I would like to share that I had a friend in high school that could actually tune pipe organs, and of course he played incredibly. He was hired by Hammond out of high school (dating myself again). I helped him at an old church that had a huge pipe organ (it was thousands of pipes), to put the pipes in, and to tune them. When we finished he treated me to a solo concert, namely just him and me, at full volume, and it was the most moving moment of my young life. He played Phantom of The Opera at one point... which was a perfect choice, and I got to enjoy it in the middle of that large church, ... and it was perfect. Anyway, I love hearing the Delos theme on the organ, and I am absolutely loving your videos. I have to break them up, take some time off, because I don't want to run out of them too soon.
I was about to critique by saying the interview room was too echo-y, but then I watched the church scene. Wow. That was magic. Well done sailors. Very sweet. Goosebumps.
I was diving in Cozumel once, and took a quick rest from the current on a sand patch behind a large coral head. I turn and look behind me to see a manta about 10 feet across land on the sand an arm's length away. We just sat there looking at each other until my gas level told me I had to go. One of the great wildlife experiences of my diving career.
What an amazing story / episode!! Incredible people you meet along the way and things you do..just brings such a huge smile to my face every time I get that little notification of a new available episode!!
