One of my friends had irregular period time. Sometimes its up to 1-2 months without it and she isn't sexually active. But now her period back to normal again. Human body is really confusing 😅 (sorry if there is grammar mistake because I'm not native speaker).

This can happen because of their hormones. It's rather common and normal, but it usually occurs at the beginning because that's when your hormones are most out of wack.

Korea isn't a third world country, they have access to these type of services like every other developed nation. I don't know why you think tampons suddenly are the ultimate solution for every period correlated issue that might prevent you from having plans. A person dealing with any of the symptoms that come with menstruation is entitled to cancel plans. Also your gynecologist isn't some sort of wizard who has the answers to all your problems, more often than not you need a multidisciplinary approch to even just lessen the symptoms, and being followed by more than a couple of doctors can be physically, mentally and emotionally draining but most importantly financially difficult as well. I appreciate you advocating for health awareness but i don't think undermining other people's condition or a whole country's healtcare system (which is more than adequate) is going to help in any way.

However, in the context in which it was said, this can be one solution, just like menstral cups and some types of birth control. If you've watch some of the videos in which this topic is brought up, you'll notice a theme where they mention tampons in passing, saying that they're not available, that they're uncomfortable, that they're expensive, that they're "taboo", that they've never tried them, etc. And, don't take me for an idiot either. Everyone with a brain knows that South Korea isn't a third world country. If they were, they wouldn't have access to RU-vid!!! There's no need for you to attack!!!!! BTW, it sounds like you have medical issues related to your menses. If you do, I hope you can recover--seriously. My sister had endometriosis until she gave birth to her first child. As children from a single parent household, in which our mother worked several jobs to put food on the table, I was the one often with her at the ER when she was getting pumped with drugs. She suffered from severe pain and often went stiff and pass out. She even had to go to counseling due to depression. My original comment was just a comment from someone else's point of view, but dont assume that that's the extent of their knowledge. The RU-vid comments section isnt meant for essays--there's always more to the story.

Not going to say it's all, but a lot of Korean girls I know who have the worst time with this also tend to avoid exercise and opt for starvation as a means of dieting... I've heard from them it is fairly common in cities (secondhand information) due to the level of adherence to certain standards of beauty. However, I know more about Japan and I am aware that there, girls will try to make guys more interested by trying to spark a "protective urge" in a sense. So they may tell a guy they like about something that makes their life difficult (overexaggerated or not) to test him or in the hopes he will want to protect her and allow her to depend on him more. It is something I saw Korean girl in Japan doing as well and have heard it is a somewhat common thing in many East Asian countries.

if you think Korea makes a big deal, think about India 😂 here people don't even speak about periods and consider it taboo
