American here that’d never heard of this show. I grew up on the McKenzie Bros, SCTV and Kids In The Hall. Corner Gas has the type of dry humor I love. My binging for August is set.
Haven't watched the animated series but have watched the live action show several times from beginning to end Huge fan here in the U.S.A even enjoy the jokes at our expense because they are funny.
Corner Gas is the best show ever. The sound engineers on the show were awesome. Pay attention and you will hear dogs barking in the background in almost every episode.
Both shows, CG Animated and the original CG were genius. A catalog of material that the cast and crew can be very proud of. Think for a second the laugher these shows brought to so many people and will bring to so many people in the years ahead. The littlest Hobo episode is still my favorite. Still makes me laugh out loud.
I liked them all but the crabapple episode was a favorite. We, myself and 2 brothers and 2 sisters, stole crabapples mostly to throw at each other. Our parents would receive a call from the farmer who owned the field mainly to keep us from getting hurt, I think.
@@charleslindsey6789 We did the same thing! Perspective is a funny thing... I remember we used to get in trouble for stealing the crabapples, but as I look back, that fact that we could get caught, was the fun of it. We used to plan out our Crab Raiding. One person would be the 'look out' and would warn us when the farmer would come out, while the rest of us would be filling out pockets. Good times! Thanks for the memory, have a great day Charles.

How about an animated kids’ show, “Corner Gas, the Early Years” featuring the Grumpaloos? I mean, the book’s finished, I’m sure you have plenty of free time. Obviously kidding. But thank you for bringing us some quality entertainment. We in the States appreciate it!
As someone who purchased the DVDs as they came out and binged the original CG multiple times, plus the animated after I found it, I'm sad to hear the upcoming season is the last. I think my favorite episode is Contagious Fortune when Brent, Wanda and Hank had pink eye. Or maybe the Potato Bowl??? Or Mail Fraud??? Ruby Newsday??? Dog River Dave??? So many good ones! I was sad to hear about Janet Wright, but I thought the animated episode about Jane T. Wright was perfect!
Thanks for the great news, Mr. Butt (always wanted to say that)! In this day and age, Dog River seems like paradise. Can’t help but wonder how much gas would cost at Corner Gas now though. Hank would definitely not be able to afford it.

BTW I & a bunch of CG & CGA fans would love new content even if it was simply table reads done via zoom & posted here - perhaps a simple yet profitable scenario could be figured out. I envision something similar to that reading the CGA cast did & posted on RU-vid at what appears to be at a convention. I'm an Old Time Radio fan - it's amazing what actors can do just w/ their voices & a little sound effects. Fingers crossed you read this & it sparks an idea for you! You know, as the sister show of Stargate SG-1 I don't think Corner Gas ever got the credit it deserved. Folks are agitating for more SG-1 or a reboot when they don't even know that Brent Leroy is every bit as funny and complex a character as Jack O'Neil.
Not sure if you read the comments but if you do really wish and hope that you would come out with a new sitcom TV show maybe one focused on wrestling because lately there seems to be a lot of wrestlers from Canada making it to the US into a lot of other areas such as Stu Grayson & Evil Uno
Yeah sad to this end. I have hope to see CG again maybe a revival series or another movie. It was like losing a bunch of friends when the show was over.
As an update blew through the season. This got me in my feelings for the good old days of the corner gas originals and I'm working my way back through again. It's jutting up in my life all majestic like
What?! Two videos within 2 weeks? In all seriousness, Corner Gas is a great family show. Got my elderly folks who don't like comedies watching it (live action) and the watched every season plus movie within 2 weeks. Now, maybe I should push Hiccups on then. The show, not the involuntary spasms.
