Comedian Brent Butt (CORNER GAS, HICCUPS, NO CLUE) hosts comedy videos from the road, from his podcast, and behind-the-scenes of his TV & film projects.
Greatest show on TV, then greatest cartoon since buggs bunny, forgive me, OMG!😱 Given today's tech, and his genius, I see no reason for the animated series to end! Please, Brent, for all that is good and Holy, continue, isn't that what your mother would've wanted? I can see her now slapping the hell out of you, and haunting your dreams, and if that don't work watch out when shit starts popping off shelves, she was feisty! 🫠😜🤪🤣🤣🤣
Hey Brett, caught an MC gig you were doing in Vancouver and you are pretty much my favourite stand up as you work ...clean...no need for f bombs with your humor.
However, the role of Eric as Leroy I found too annoying…always angry, always yelling, no decency at all. I think they overdid it. It was a tad too much. Lacey carried the show to its success. She was the gorgeous and beautiful character the show needed to balance it out. Davis was a gentleman, his role was perfect for him.
My son loved Corner Gas. You guys gave him so many laughs. We have the series on dvd in the motorhome and at home. He watched the series many many times over. Such clean well written humour. Thank you.
To this day, Brent's bit on Fabio/Rollercoaster/Goose is still comedy gold. Especially using the sack of potatoes analogy. Also, riding a giraffe down main street, wearing a viking helmet, swinging a bag of gophers. LOL!
I'm a little late on this, but just discovered your channel on RU-vid. You did this on purpose: I googled "Huge Butt". Now I have to delete my internet cache.
I missed watching Corner Gas when it first aired, but have since watched every episode and the movie. Of all the sitcoms I've watched in my life, Corner Gas is the only show I wish had kept going.
Wow, the Corner Gas version of home movies. I Liked it, watched to the end... 😎. Brent certainly has the instincts to a do it yourselfer, cut your own hair guy. I've been cutting my own hair for a long time. We watched all the Corner Gas right from the start, season by season, and the movie. Loved them all. Saw the set on the side of the road. 👍👍👍. Nancy is a good gal / wife, plays along until she discovers that you can do it yourself and then is just gone. That's perfect. Take care. 😊🥰
Congratulations on your new book! You are indeed a multi talented individual who continues to bring joy to many by way of your talents and efforts! keep up the good work Brent. We are all so proud of you!
It became very clear during cast interviews that they have writers. Brent does not write this show - he helps. Anytime I've seen cast reunions or interviews since the show has gone off air, it is very clear which cast members are actors who read other people's words, which are talented who can think for themselves and articulate well Tara ( Karen) and Gabrielle (Lacy,) have revealed themselves as not particularly bright or clever... They State the obvious in their interviews. Nothing intellectual, Gabrielle is always worrying about her hair and licking her lips? And I think Fred has almost gotten sick of talking about corner gas, but he seems to be the most approachable of all the actors Janet was into stage production. I would imagine she would get bored with this but she seemed to have a sublime sense of humor under there. It has become fairly clear that Brent did not write these scripts. There is a whole nother talented group of people who did that...... Directed and produced If they've moved on, the show is over. Because listening to some of these actors try to function on their own without a script? is sad
It is true, in the northern hemisphere, that men's hair consists of tens of thousands of folic-nerve endings -- thus disproving the popular misconception that Men Are Not Emotive. Those who advance this bogus idea obviously have not cottoned to, much less cut, a man's hair. Obviously, some wives understand.
An Irishperson, Englishman and Scotsman waltz into a barn, expecting a square dance. Not one square is there! Imagine their surprise and the barn -- which was empty when they entered -- is now full of junk and detritus assembled suddenly in the vacuum. You're from Saskatch ... you know what I'm sayin!
Just as Rush are the Holy Trinity of Canadian Prog Rock, Corner Gas, The Kids in the Hall, and The Red Green Show are the Holy Trinity of Canadian comedies. Love the original and the animated series. Thanks for the laughs!
