Consider this: you probably wouldn’t use blue gem for trade up anyway, so I think it should definitely be more expensive than normal one because it’s much rarer, the trade-up potential shouldn’t play any role in this case…
its criminal that souvenir blue gems are less than regular. You can always trade up into mac 10 blue gems, souvenirs not so much. Neither the normal nor souvenir one would be used for trade ups anyways, so why is there even a difference? Maybe once the souvenir packages arent printable anymore itll appreciate
I too was surprised at the huge price difference of the souvenirs and normal ones. Are 4 stars more expensive than 1 souvenir token? Perhaps that's the real reason.
yeah its purely beacsue you cant trade up souvenirs, so you can sue the non souvenir in a trade up and possibly get the ump fade, which when used in a tradeup could get the gold arabesque.
@@Mooshimoca I get that but with these new collections the gap feels much more extreme, especially if you compare the supply. I don't ever remember it being this extreme back in the day.
It's because we will have more opportunities to get these skins in souvenir during the future majors, while the non-souvenir skins might not be available again during the next operations. Idk, it would be a little weird to not be able to get skins from Dust2, Miraje, Train and Vertigo ever again, but it's Valve, so who the hell knows! They might or might not start dropping these collections in game, like before.
Just got my first gold a few days ago and I've been plaing cs (and opening cases) since 2014. Good luck brother, it's bound to happen eventually right xd
