That nanana part in Hey Jude is like achieving world peace, for every single gender, age, race, nationality, everything. Everyone from various parts of the world, near and far, sing along to this 4 minute chorus. I hope the 4 minutes of peace will extend, and never end.
This is also similar with the crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody before nearly ever concert, and also Freddie Mercury's "Eh Oh" when he performed at Live Aid.
I heard Sir Paul say this is the one song he will ALWAYS sing in his concerts simply because everyone loves the sing along part so much, including him. Other songs come and go from the set list, but a Paul McCartney concert will always have Hey Jude, you can count on it. Love that!
I've seen many concerts. Went to see Sir Paul a few years ago. When he played this song it was easily the most electrifying song I've ever experienced!
The whole show is amazing I've seen him once. I used to think the rolling stones were the best band ever. I've seen them live But seeing Sir Paul can't be put into words The Beatles are the greatest of all time

This is why Paul McCartney is a music God. Many who didnt grow up listening to The Beatles,don't really understand how he and Lennon changed the face of music forever. There is a reason both were 2 of the great songwriters of all time. Starting with pop,the band evolved into a mix of rock,ballads,psychedelics,creative innovative and just amazing classics that more should know about. Hey Jude was just 1 of them.
I went to see Paul &co at Wembley arena on the flowers in the dirt tour. Fortunately this was before Linda passed, there was such a great atmosphere and the music just kept getting better.

A german band called "kraftklub" (translates "gym" :D) played this recently and the crowd went nuts singing along. There's like two hands full of songs that can achieve this^^

This comment may be a year old but I gotta say I disagree. The girls sounded a bit timid and the guys sounded like they put their damn souls into the lyrics.
