My daughter was mad at me. Told me that boys won’t ask her out because of me. ( ok I was sad for her and happy too 😀). I told her if they are scared of me then they aren’t tough enough for you. She told me the same thing in college. I had never met anyone there so it was solely on what she told them about me. Well she finally found the guy who wasn’t scared of me since he was a good man and only had the best intentions. Her wedding was something special.

Had the same issue growing up and my fatherwas retired military and in law enforcement. My husband proved himself and my dad loves him. You would think he is his son and I'm the in-law

Her dad is definitely a gorgeous specimen and a man. She's lucky. He looks like a loving protective father. That's a wonderful problem to have. I was raised by my step father. And he was the best kind of man. Never met a man who came close to him. Highly family oriented. Did everything he could do to be sure his family were well taken care of no matter where he was or what life threw at him or my mother. He had a 4th grade education, yet proved that ambition, hard work, and perseverance will take you anywhere in life. He was a great wonderful man till the day he passed away. He was an awesome husband, father, provider, and grandfather. It's difficult being raised by a man with so many great qualities. He even legally adopted me and my sister. So it has been difficult finding a man with the wonderful qualities my step daddy showed daily. Even my daughters said they have not met a guy who comes close to what their grandfather was

My daughter's are in this same situation lol. Husband is 6'7 covered in tattoos and growls sometimes instead of speaking when introduced to any boy. My girls are 22, 16, and 4. And yes he did make a toddler cry for trying to kiss his baby at the park by simply standing up. Smh.

If they won't date you because of your dad then they probably don't have the right intentions. I was 16 when I started dating my husband and he was 18. (I knew him from school) He was the one asking me when he could meet my dad because he had good intentions. (He was still super nervous but he got through it lol. Brought my dad food, etc lol) My father is retired army and very intimidating as well but if the guy has the right intentions your dad won't scare him off.
