idk why it’s probably not very well written You rush through the automatic doors of the new Toys R Us store. Toys beyond your imagination. Kids running around picking out toys. Barbie cars. Lego sets. Bikes. Rainbow loom kits. Everything you could ever imagine. You run over to where you see your favorite toy. You bounce up and down, hearing your shoes patting against the tile. The white tile that is tinted a little brown, but not enough it’s extremely noticeable. Your parents catch up to you, laughing. “You’re getting so big!” or “You’re so fast! Wait for us!” They’d say. You laugh and grab the box off the shelf, it being just at your height. “Can I get it? Please?” You’d beg. Your parents nod and you start running to checkout with them trailing behind you, the distance between you and them growing. As you make it to the checkout you see a mother and her three boys. Two appeared older, and one much younger, the older boys were fighting with lightsabers while the younger tugged on his mother’s hand, sobbing. “Why can’t we get it mommy?” He was begging. “We can’t afford it buddy, I’m sorry” she replied, frowning. You look down to your box and check the back of it. $25.99 it said. You rush over to the boy and ask what toy he wanted. He points to a lego set. It appears to be a fire station. You turn the box over and the number repeats. $25.99. You run to your parents and ask for the fire station lego set instead. They say yes, and you switch it out with your toy and pay for it fast. Right as the mother you saw is about to leave you yell for them. “Hey! Wait!” You’d yell. You run over and hand the younger boy the box. He smiled up at you while the mother said thank you. You and your parents continue outside as you shout “have fun with it!” Behind you. Climbing into the car, it starts to rain. You sigh, knowing that you didn’t get the toy you wanted, but that the boy would be much happier with the lego set than you’d be with your original toy as you lean your head up against the window, staring outside as the rain starts to pour down.
