I've been thinking about learning bass ( I currently play acoustic and electric guitar) and I've seriously been watching bass tutorials all day to see if I can try to teach myself how to play, even though I don't even have a bass yet lol

It's actually really easy, since you only play one string at a time. I got mine a few months ago and I've a learned a lot in that time.

I did this, i learnt bass parts on my acoustic guitar before I had one and now I have one it's amazing. You'll need to get used to the fret difference though

Marian Henderson I don't know whether you decided to get a bass or not but a bass is essentially a guitar, without the two high strings, and the frets are further apart and the strings are thicker. I take lessons for bass and my brother takes lessons for acoustic guitar (same teacher) so when I'm having my lesson, my teacher shows me on his bass what/how to play while I play on my bass I bought. (:
