@@frankdrebin6123 I really enjoy it. I use it to travel around the neighborhood to run errands that I don’t want or need to drive for. I recommend identifying an e bike shop near you that can support with potential repairs and to review your assembly. Optional, not necessary. The bike was bigger than I anticipated but fine for me. I’m 6’ 185lbs.
A little disappointed that you didn’t address the common complaints others have. They’re not small. One is that the handlebars constantly loosen and come out of alignment with the front wheel. The other is that the readout is unclear regarding charge level making one uncertain how much power is left.

@@hughwilliams4561 You're welcome and nice to hear! Yes, everyone fits differently and not all specs are exact. I find that considering your inseam and the "reach" to the handlebars helps the most.
Nice review but you should show the battery. Can you take it out and charge it off the bike? How much does the bike weigh without the battery? ? What is the peak power of the motor? I cant find this info on their web site.
Thanks! You can easily charge the battery on the ebike. However, it can also be removed by folding the bike and using the key to slide out the battery from the frame. I'd say removing the battery takes around 8-9 lbs off the bike. As for the peak, it's a 750W battery but certainly rides like it has 1000W peak power! Heybike says it has more power "even at lower speeds"... not sure why they don't report peak power.

Owners Manual has no description or instructions how to turn it on - do you insert the key somewhere, for security? Can you use it without bringing your phone with you? Also, I heard the app requires an annual fee, is that true? Also, to add to the cons, replacement battery (every 3-5 years) costs $600, that’s almost half the cost of the bike.
It turns on like most by pushing a button on the controller and I'm not aware of an annual fee for the app. We used it without paying anything. The key is only used for removing the battery from the frame, once the bike is folded. And it's unlikely you'll need to replace the battery that often unless you commute daily. Most batteries offer 800-1000 full charges and battery costs are more competitive than they were!
They're a bit hard to compare since they have different size wheels and one is a folding bike. In general, I'd choose the Tyson if I planned on transporting it often or traveling long distances. If you're not sure you want/need a folding ebike, then I'd go with the Aventure.2 :)
Good review just had to stay longer than necessary because extra words not needed. I prefer getting to the point without unnecessary extra chatter. Also woman was folding the bike on the video incorrectly and actually can injure yourself doing it that way. Overall still ok video
