The air bases Hezbollah is talking about aren’t sovereign Cypriot land. Cyprus was a British colony who gained independence but 4% of the Island’s land was retained by the UK and has had army and air bases on it. Cyprus is being threatened because the UK is allowing the Israeli Air Force to use their air strips.

This will be interesting. Cyprus isn't a single, unified nation. There's Northern Cyprus, controlled by Türkiye, and Sothern Cyprus controlled by Greece, with a lot of back-and-forth fighting between the two. There are also several disputed territories that neither side effectively controls. Another disaster waiting to happen at this point.

@janvangorp6918 Greece & Turkey are both in NATO. The southern half of Cyprus is an independent Republic ran by the Greek Cypriots recognised by the entire world including the UN & NATO. The Northern half is illegally occupied by Turkey following an illegal invasion in 1974 they're there illegally and recognised by no one. There are also 2 sovereign UK bases on the island in the Greek side & the buffer zone is controlled by the UN so basically it's divided into 4.

So many glaring factual errors in this report. The 1st being the "pier" hasn't been operational for 2 weeks now. So Cyprus is not being used to deliver aid to Gaza. I mean, how do you forfet thst the pier desintigrated in norrmal Mediterranean weather 2. Cyprus has a long history of allowing Israel to use its air bases. And it has been widely reported that the British Royal Airforce has used their airbase on Cyprus to launch fighter bombers to bomb Gaza in support of Israels campaign of genocide. 3. The so-called "problem with inspections" is a myth created by the West because the truth is Israel is blocking aid to Gaza as part of its campaign of genocide. Just tell your audience the truth.

yes but there is minor correction. Hammas' hosteges policy is clear and normal. They outsmarted israel to take hostages,and in return they use it in exchange to their prisoners at Israel prisons. Try Turkiye, Hez Bollah is acting in behalf of them. There is deal there. Turkiye has wanted all of Cypress and already owns half of the Island. This gives the 2nd strongest and experienced military in Europe (Russia #1) reason to move many troops to the Island. Ergoen will tell Britain to get lost adn take their base and the US will crater to Turkiye's demands as not to lose them.
