I have always loved this song from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when Pastor Hez was with sweet rain records. This is by far one of my all time favorite gospel songs. Thank God for His inspiration and Pastor Hez acceptence to the call. Be blessed and remain in God's favor always

This made my night! Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir did this song live in Boston on January 1st 1989 at a concert and this album didn't come out until the summer of 1990! I sang that song in my head so I wouldn't forget what I had heard....Thanks so much for posting this!
This song brings back soooo many memories of my Mom and her chior :( She and Hez were friends and he taught this to her Chior in phoenix in the late 80's. She passed this past Sept and this music is VERY soothing!!!! Lord I give you all the glory and honor!!!

In considering things, I am not exactly the same person I was in the eighties... but one thing I know of our God is He has not changed. That same God who patiently bore the petulence of our youth, that same God who withstood the fire of our desires... He never left us... is still that very same God. God is real, whether you sing it fast or slow ⭐
I hate remakes, because they never ever live up to the original. Personally, I think after Hezekiah left Sweet Rain (for whatever reason), his songs weren't as good after switching labels with (I guess) new songwriters, producers etc... THEN after he changed the choir name to LFC??? His songs just went way down hill for me.. I only like a couple of them, nowadays..
neetrab Correction..... this song isn’t a remake, this is the original album recorded in Washington DC in 1989 (I was there)...., I am one of the ORIGINAL 12 that was the crusade choir. The choir’s name was never “changed”, it’s just an acronym used for The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir”. The albums following this one (Live At Morehouse, Live In Toronto, Live in London, Live at Radio City Music Hall and Family Affair..... what??!!) were some POWERFUL bodies of music.
