Trip get some help today from Giulia in the shop. He shows us the most recent Ford fusion HF 35 transmission into our shop. This car came in with a Ford remanufactured unit already installed that has failed. We will rebuild this unit and get it back on the road.

Commenting from Beautiful Southern Illinois. We have a 2013 C-Max Hybrid with almost 260k miles, change the fluid in the trans every 30-50k miles. Do all my own maintenace, love these cars wish they still made them. Been following your work and have recommended you in the Facebook C-Max owners group for anyone needing a repair done on there transmission. Keep cranking them out!

I bought a 2017 Transit Connect cargo in late 2020. It was in really good shape. As a cable guy, I put a lot of miles on it (and won't deny that I drive it hard) It's had a TCC shudder for a little while and I've been considering getting the fluid changed, but I have a feeling it's failing. When I first start driving, the 3-4 has a flare, but only once. At random times, the 2-3 is harsh. I'd consider taking it out myself and over to the transmission shop I worked at years ago running the dyno, but I can't be without a vehicle for long so I have a feeling things are about to get expensive.

I have a noise that reminds me of tire noises. It's not whinning, but changes pitch with speed and generally lower in frequency. Do you have any videos with sounds before you remove the transmission?

You sir are awesome appreciate you I have a question for you is one year of the fusion better than the other and how much should a person pay for a 2016 with a 112,000 miles in good condition and what should I look for and would you buy one?
