small tip from someone who's owned this kit for 2 months: cut off the lip of armor on the back of the head, it makes no visual compromise and allows for more upwards movement, also the armor lip at the top of the thigh armor, it'll get more inwards rotation for better flight poses
@@Mannistheorion i mean, you’re allowed to modify Gunpla, unlike Lego competitions and other similar building competitions, Gunpla gives you much more freedom in modification
If you have the HG Strike Freedom, you can swap the red and blue parts to create a strike freedom with red funnels, which looks pretty cool. You can also transfer the gold frame of the Strike Freedom to this kit to make the Perfect Strike Freedom look even more...perfect ; )
OR if you have the Helios and the Strike Freedom, you can take the Helios' Freedom wings, build the spare Freedom legs in the Helios kit, and then mount it on the Perfect Strike for more awesomeness
Is it weird that I'm kinda tempted to pick this up and leave off the shoulder and arm accessories to create an Aile Strike Freedom? To answer your question from the video, my vote is for the Maneuver Striker. The Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher looks cool, and I'm always a fan of ginormous guns, but I think the Maneuver Striker will give more to talk about.
This is what Strike Freedom should be.... Combination of strike and freedom trait combine together. Not like the original one, no one inch of strike can be trace from that.
2 entirely different design philosophies. The Strike Freedom is a clear upgrade of the Freedom and the original name "Super Freedom" is a clear indication of this. It was never meant to bear any resemblance to the Strike and only ever meant to be an upgrade to the Freedom and nothing else, something I personally think it overachieves in how ridiculously powerful it is. IMO Mu should've gotten this instead of the Akatsuki and Cagalli should've fought on the front lines with the Akatsuki in Destiny much like she did at the end of Seed. Never made much sense why Mu got the Akatsuki. Thematically it would've made much more sense too, having protected the Archangel with the (Perfect) Strike at the end of Seed and a second time with the Perfect Strike Freedom at the end of Destiny.
I dkn... I agree 👍 💯. Y favorite from ssed is the impulse 💯. It leads up to the destiny. Strike to freedom.... not so much.i still bought the mgex though. I iown the mg perfect Strike and every single mg impulse gundam even the destiny impulse version's . I still love the impulse the best .❤❤❤❤❤ it's perfect.
As an owner of this kit, It’s so big and over the top that i have to display it apart from my other HGs. I highly recommend this as anyone’s first kit as the bang for your buck is really impressive. It also has strong arm and hand joints. It’s one of the few HG gundam I have that can hold HG Lupus Rex’s giant mace without dropping or having the back of the hands fall off. So that’s how I have mine posed.
Furthermore, its paint requirements are almost nonexistent and what paint it does need is on details so small they can be ignored. That's also a great thing for newbies.
Mecha, I’ve been subscribed and watching you for years (on my old account lol) and watching first hand your transformation into the premier gunpla review channel was astonishing and makes me believe in the world a bit.
As my 2nd kit, I would say this is beautiful considering I may get more kits in the near future. It may be an HG but man am I proud that I had the chance build one.

Barbataurus was one of my favorite battlouge kits I've built but then again I've only built that and helios but one of the halves of the bow broke in a weird way so I have been working on fixing it
I have to admit I always go back to your channel whenever I either want a kit or get a kit. My wife gave me a Hobby Lobby gift card for Valentine's so I picked up the Perfect Strike and the Destiny HG's. I have to admit even though I have mostly settled on 1/100 I really enjoyed the color separation, cool design and easy build of the Perfect Strike. It is the first kit I panel-lined directly on the runner. I also got a bit desperate and ended up removing half of the parts directly off the runner with Godhand nippers. I did see why you shouldn't do that since I ended with hard-to-remove tiny nubs. Anyways, keep up the great content and it seems I will keep on buying more kits. Tomorrow, according to tracking, I will get the Wing Zero VerKa, my very first VerKa kit. After that I will finally have gathered enough courage to put the MGEX Strike Freedom together.

I just started building this tonight and it's my very first build. I'm stuck at home recovering from surgery and needed a new hobby. I'm getting the hang of it quickly, but hate small stickers. I just have the backpack left to do tomorrow, then onto the HG Barbataurus.
The Multiple Assault Striker (primarily the backpack) can attach to other Strike Gundam-based kits (excluding Real Grades) such the 1/144 Gundam SEED Collection Series Strike Gundam, HG Strike Rouge + I.W.S.P. , HG Gunbarrel Dagger/HG Slaughter Dagger, HG Strike Noir Gundam, HGBF Strike Gundam Full Package, the HGCE Aile Strike Gundam/HGCE Aile Strike Rouge), or the HGCE GAT-02L2 Dagger L.
Hmm…wonder what this thing would be called IF it retained the Chest-Mounted Beam Cannon, and had a second set of Railguns, one set for up top, and one set for the side-skirts, along with the Beam Sabers. True Perfect Strike Freedom Gundam?

I turned my a.s.f. into the Solaris Gundam. It's got the amazing weapon binder cannons and the dragoon binders, the sinanju stein fuel tanks, and the lightning zeta rifle. It all looks really cool imo
This is what the original Strike Freedom should have been. My only complaint about it is that they should have modified the shoulders to be more Strike-like, similar to what was done to the chest with that grey frame poking through.
Man I thought this was gonna be a January release.. Mechas goin in hard in these breaker kits I really wanted one when these came out.... now I'm not so sure... it reminds me of the destiny more... very busy backpack
Well, since there's another white parts of the torso from the leftover parts, I would say it can be used to attach another Xiphias 3 Rail Cannon from any Strike Freedom, especially the Amazing Strike Freedom
I say hyper mega bazooka launcher, I did not watch the eclipse video but it looks cool, but I think the hyper bazooka launcher would be a lot cooler and be an interesting complimentary piece to the rg hi nu
What??? The first time I saw this kit, I thought it looks awesome and much better looking than the original Strike Freedom! Maybe because I like the Prefect Strike.
idk about you guy but i think buying this kit would be supper great for the hg strike custom kit bash. I mean you can use the P Strike Freedom body and waist, put it on the hg strike version that you have and basically giving it more a bit of detail and using that basic 2 hole back pack adapter without needing to use a different adapter for the strike so you can use other hg back pack and it still look like an upgraded strike
This is a very good kit to kit bash with. I would defiantly pair it up with the astray swords and the hg strike Rouge backpack or the byild strike pull package with the Gatling gun shield from the ortori hg and thats about it. Paint it all up in a silver bullet suppressor color scheme with red thrown in.

I'd personally like to see the Maneuver Striker for the Eclipse more than the giant gun for the Hi Nu. Trying to make Eclipse the next addition to my collection, and a video from you would help decide if I need the Maneuver Striker either for the Eclipse or for the Strike Rouge.
I came to this video because I have a full understanding on how fun it is to build a gundam. I just got my first one and it was the Breaker Battlogue Gundam Helios and I wanted to see the others. I wish to get Livelance, Commander Quan(T) and Astray Inversion but then I see this and I told myself that his sword is a scissor blade. Then before my eyes, it is so similar to one and for the love of Kill La Kill, I plan to buy this beautiful gundam

looking forward to christmas, i put the master grade freedom gundam and providence gundam on my wishlist, i may be in over my head, the only other model kit i ever handled was nearly a decade ago, a helicopter that broke before it even got off the sprue, i still don't know who was more at fault for that
I personally just finished both my RG Hi-V and Hyper mega bazooka launcher today and i would really like to see your view on the mega bazooka launcher. Personally its a great big gun table display even if you dont own the hi-v. Talking about that since mechagaikotsu has made a big sword vid, pls big gun video 🙂

I would like to try those flow ink pens, but it's agressive nature on the plastic makes it better for me to not use it as I often have to leave my kit laying about suddenly. I have seen how it can downright shatter ABS that ink.
They will indeed. I tried them in the Gun Girl Lady kits which are made out of ABS and they started cracking straight away. Never had any issues on other plastic yet.
imo this is the weaker side of the battlogue kits. the P.Strike parts on the shoulders dont fit too well with the already flared SF shoulders. didnt like the top part of the dragoon wings, but the dragoon thrusters are nice. the sideskirts only being able to move up and down was the leftover from the s.freedom's guns storage (the railguns were actually attached to the torso for the railgun swing to back gimmick)
i just started geting into gunpla this month and i got this kit and i built it and that little shield thing on the right does keep falling off for me so i thought it was just me that did something wrong glad to know i didnt do any thing wrong
I have the rouge version, and the first thing I did was to build a rouge version of strike freedom. Fuck the new parts, I’m going for the rouge strike freedom
I think I'd like to see the Super... Hyper? Mega... the Hi Nu Bazooka kit. That one. The other one is neat and I DO hope you'll do that one too, but I've pretty much stopped collecting 1/100s as I don't really have the desk space any more. I'm much more likely to get the Bazooka kit.
not a fan of the shoulder parts and perfect strike arm add-ons, but apart from that, i’m a big fan of the sleek torso, and how well the red dragons pop. i also love the new knee armour and waist armour.
You have the Gundam Love phantom which is another version of the strike freedom gundam! When you eventually do the strike Gundam review can you please compare it to the Gundam Love phantom and the perfect strike freedom gundam? Since you missed out on that comparison.
@@bluepaw7 well I painted the one I have so everything is pretty tight. But since the Strike Freedom was hardly ever on the ground, I just keep it on a flight stand for show accuracy lol
@@bluepaw7 yeah no problem. Just paint add topcoat to the joints. The idea is to make them thicker so that when you put the kit together, they fit tightly
maybe you can double review next for perfect strike freedom and the entry grade strike and can review compability perfect striker into entry grade strike
since this is just a strike freedom with new parts, i made my perfect strike freedom into strike strike freedom like swapping the parts where the shield goes and putting the strike freedom shoulders to the psf also i think the weapons look plain so i modified my destiny's arondight sword and the destiny agni beam cannon
