perfect video, I have the same car, I've been thinking for a long time how to hide the box on the body, I really like your net. May I ask where can I get it? I reworked the whole electronics into a box for the body, everything is now easily accessible. Thank you so much.
How satisfied are you with this vehicle? I would like to buy one myself. Did you lock the differential yourself or was it already locked? Great video!!!
Thank you man! This truck i a beast! The diffs are not locked but comes with stiff grease what makes it be like an lsd diff...im planning to lock it in the old way soon.
Men, that is the scale driving if I ever saw one ;) It looks so real. I am waiting mine, the same green P801, and was thinking of making NATO EU camouflage scheme. Is there any way that second axle wheels can swing slower and with less deflection? Now they are 1:1 to front axle, but if you see real truck, that ratio is like 1:2 or 1:1.5, because this way front axle has greater turning radius from second axle making them go in the path of less resistance. On 1:1 ratio there is always one axle that is going to grind tires since they will be pushed aside by turning radius of the other axle. I have done this ratio in my project truck, just by using -1 hole on swing arm of the same servo. This way second axle has slower turn and less lateral swing, making it perfect to use.
yes, I have to fix two or three cables with cable ties, put the cover back on the motor and I'm done. Unfortunately, the engineer who designed the two P801 and P802 did not speak clearly with the engineers who designed the light module and the sound module and the instruction manuals;🙄 the result, in my case, is that the light bar under the roof has the wires welded on the wrong side and make a thickness when you close the cover under the roof. The headlights with the direction indicators once installed do not have the seats for the fixing screws, but do not need them. The lights and sound control units, once installed, do not allow to cover them with the appropriate piece, because it makes an obstacle to close against the steering servo, with the result that the speaker is fixed with only two screws .... I have to try remove the double-sided tape from the light and sound control units and fix them with thinner adhesive tape ... maybe it could be the solution. The "thermometer" of success, are the front tow hooks: if you can fix them, everything is installed correctly; otherwise, you can not put them, because their hole comes out too little from the front metal plate: 1/2 mm stuff. Annoying. That said, the rear lights cable also has a problem: it has two pins on the instructions, but it actually has three pins. 😅 I chose to have position lights, stop lights and reverse light, not installing the third plug. Everything is very satisfactory now. 👍 In the week I do the video and then put on tube🏁. Now I go to the beach with the dog.😁
