HG 8x8 diffs locked...how to! 

use 2'000'000 silicone oil that improve the traction like a totally locked diff, but if you drive on hard surface , concrete or road, the stress on the transmission will be reduced versus 100% mechanic lock ! It is what i do and i'm happy with this solution...

damn this truck needs full diff luck.! A diff luck should come as an option via a button control like traxxas trx4 or trx6 anyway well.. excellent video buddy peace.✋

I don't think the hot glue will last long. JB weld them to make it last permanent of really thick grease will keep them open but improve traction. But the reason for the open diffs I think is because the real HEMTT has open diffs that uses an air locker to lock them up from my understanding. Plus on a rig this heavy locked diffs will only put high strain on the gears and then you will have broke/damaged gears down the road. But this is just my opinion. Cool video nonetheless 😎👍

I prefer the silicon ear plug version, means fill it with stiff silicon grease and you will get about 90% locking. That's also easy to remove if needed later.

another way, is clean the diff case out, and drop equal measure of two pack epoxy resin in there. Do not mix it. Reassemble case, then turn half shafts until resin is mixed. The case will get hot, then it sets. You can reassemble the whole axle first. I've done this and it works. New axles are not so expensive if I don't like it anymore! stay safe everyone.

Aaaaw what a shame dude... you should have left that beautiful mechanic intact... why didn't you just put some heavy grease in there ? You would have preseved your diffs from unsustainable contraints and breakage and still have tremendous grip. It's beyond me. Plain stupid.
