If I have a back window, I always open the curtain for a blind side reverse as it makes it so much easier. As you know, I've been at this game for many years but I haven't got a clue why in this modern age of cameras everywhere, they still haven't been incorporated into reversing an artic (particularly on the blind side). We should all now have clear vision from a screen in the cab of exactly what is at the back of the trailer and being able to see where we need to turn the trailer.
you would think so in this day and age, but i guess things take a while to get up to speed, i have had some before with cameras when i did tipper artic work.
Went back to work boxing day night ( !! Yep I know ) . First drop is on a one way system, so tipped then couldn't get out forwards as the exit route had poorly parked cars which you can't see unless you walk down and look before setting off. Long reverse round a corner with armco on either side .That woke me up.
