For this project let's build a sexy looking generator that uses electricity to convert water into an extremely powerful fuel! Here's how to build an Oxy-Hydrogen generator from scratch.
[✓] Solar Panels: amzn.to/2c69sAM
[✓] 4” ABS clean out fittings: amzn.to/2cRYegg
[✓] 3/8” Poly Tubing: amzn.to/2cqAyOS
[✓] 100 grit sandpaper: amzn.to/2cr0ywC
[✓] Clear silicone 1 caulk: amzn.to/2cg3Lle
[✓] Rubber Mallet: amzn.to/2cg3i2b
[✓] ABS Cement: amzn.to/2cg3a2K
[✓] 1/4” 90 degree Elbow: amzn.to/2caxbOC
[✓] 1/2” drill bit: amzn.to/2cg4LWf
[✓] 18 Thread TAP: amzn.to/2cqCMxy
[✓] Pipe Tape: amzn.to/2cRZLTS
[✓] 3/8” Swivel Elbow: amzn.to/2cRLOsS
[✓] 5/16 drill bit: amzn.to/2czNUxg
[✓] Bench vice: amzn.to/2cg5dnE
[✓] Stainless steel jam nuts: amzn.to/2cg70sJ
[✓] Acrylic glue: amzn.to/2cRLDy3
I've been getting a lot of requests for build plans, so I made a 23 page .pdf file you can have for $20 (This helps compensate for the 3 days it took me to make them). You can get them here: bit.ly/HHOParts
Everything you need to know should be in the video, but the plans have templates for the stainless steel plates, a parts list with SKU numbers, pictures, instructions, and expanded view diagrams of the systems, including an alternate "all ABS" option.

This is not a "free energy" device, "over unity" device, or a claim to be the solution to the worlds energy crisis. This is a project I did to experiment with the electrolysis of water, and the resulting gasses collected.
Music By: Kevin Macleod (Breakdown) incompetech.com/
Project Inspired By:
"Smack's Booster": www.free-energy-info.co.uk/Sma...
Project History & More Info:
The generator requires electricity to electrolyze H2O (water) into gas. The resulting mixed gas is sometimes referred to as Oxy-Hydrogen gas, which is 2 parts Hydrogen (H2) and 1 part Oxygen (O2). I typically hook this up to my car battery while the vehicle is running, so the alternator takes most of the load. On 12 volts I get about 1.5 liters/minute, but when I want to make the gas faster, I hook 2 car batteries in series for 24 volts, and this exponentially increases the gas production to over 5 liters per minute.
Current draw seems to be around 20-50 amps depending on whether you use 12-24 volts. High current draws mean the electrolyte heats up, and if left too long the plastic can warp or melt causing structural failure.
Some people ask why the plates aren't all electrically connected. The plates that aren't connected are called "floater" plates, or "neutral" plates. There is too much information to post about them here, so do a google search, or check out websites like www.hho4free.com/neutral_plate... for an in depth explanation of the theory.
I used KOH as my electrolyte because research suggested it was the best. I haven't experimented with other electrolytes, but have heard that salt, sodium hydroxide, vinegar, etc could work, but will dirty and may corrode the plates. Potassium Hydroxide keeps the system clean, however, it is caustic, so be careful if you choose to use it. You can probably get away with about 2-4 teaspoons of KOH per 6 liters of water.
This system produces an extremely powerful OxyHydrogen gas. When the gas is used, it simply turns back into water, and that's good for the environment. However I believe it takes more electric energy to produce the gas than is obtained from the gas. This device merely converts the energy from one form to another, with given losses.
As long as you have enough electricity, the amount of water already in this system is enough to produce thousands and thousands of liters of fuel. Some people say this is the fuel of the future. Either way, it's a very powerful gas!
If you need more information, or want to purchase build plans for this design, you can get them here: bit.ly/HHOParts

Lid was too thin, melted under the 12v. load, the two leads touched and sparked, which set off the H gas in the jar like a shotgun, scared the crap outta me and her! Going to school in the 80s and 90s you actually learned this kind of hands on science. Now kids have to go to RU-vid to learn it if you want to call it that. A science project actually involved going to a library, researching and understanding the science. Today kids simply copy a project from a video and submit it as their project not even understanding how and why it works or does what it does. All King Random did here in many of his videos (not all of them) was recreate 5th grade science projects from the 80s and early 90s. Normally a science project involved a problem that had to be resolved. Using what you learned in class you were to come up with a solution. Everyone normally received a different problem to prevent plagiarism. This also aided the teacher in helping students address their weaknesses. So what application or problem required you to recreate/copy/plagiarize King Random's work for your science project?

Anybody making one of these: DO NOT USE STAINLESS STEEL!! Stainless steel contains chromium, and although the metal does not appear to degrade, it is the chromium that is consumed. Electrolysis will leach chromium out of the anode in the form of hexavalent chromium ions. These ions are highly toxic, are harmful to the environment and are also very carcinogenic (causes cancer). Water that can become highly saturated with hexavalent chromium from using stainless steel electrodes can irritate the skin upon contact (like bleach or industrial paint thinner), and is also illegal to poor down residential drainage systems. You don't want to poison the water shed with this stuff! PLEASE DON'T USE STAINLESS STEEL. A much better, safer alternative is copper. The best choice, though more costly, are platinized electrodes because they will never degrade in the electrolysis reaction.
@joeycoston7692
@joeycoston7692 8 лет назад
Search for "platinized titanium" on Google and a lot of search results for retailers that sell good electrodes will pop up. I personally prefer the mesh-type electrodes because of increased surface area.
@joeycoston7692
@joeycoston7692 8 лет назад
Copper can easily be replaced, but if you use stainless, the electrodes will eventually begin to rust after all the chromium is consumed and you'll need to replace the water just as much, if not more, than with copper. If you use copper (II) chloride in the very low concentration as your electrolyte in conjunction with copper electrodes, you can actually manage to never replace your electrodes by simply switching the polarity of the electrodes every so often because copper from the anode would disassociate into the solution as copper in solution plates the cathode. When you reverse the polarity routinely, you should end up reversing the electrode that is dissolved and the one that is plated. Make sure you use distilled water instead of tap water and very low concentration if you use this method, though, because otherwise you may begin producing chlorine gas in place of oxygen...which is generally a very, very bad thing. Because you don't care about separating oxygen and hydrogen from one another, you may even consider using an alternating current source, as opposed to a dc source like a battery.
@joeycoston7692
@joeycoston7692 8 лет назад
***** That's what my experience has shown, yes.
@joeycoston7692
@joeycoston7692 8 лет назад
+Solo Socks A nice tip for making one of these with copper is that you can buy copper pipe of multiple diameters and put them inside of each other like nesting dolls. You can make the outside tube one of the electrodes and the very inside tube the other. just make sure to space them with some sort of nonconducting material because otherwise they won't work as well.

This technology is real in regards to producing hydrogen, but it doesn't produce more energy than is put into it. Even fusion from the sun doesn't do that. That's just an electron being converted into a photon when 2 hydrogen molecules bind into a helium. Even fusion doesn't break any laws of conservation like the HHO guys claim can happen.

Congratulations, you just created a hho kit for your car. It will reduce your fuel consumption anywhere from 50 to 80 % and remove all the carbon deposits in the engine. Also it will reduce the amount of dangerous gas emissions. So happy green journey. And do make a video and long term test of your hho kit. All the very best.

Is there a specific volt and amperage required? Could you maybe experiment with variations to find out what produces the most. For instance 12v at 1 amp vs 1v at 12 amps and similar variations.

Thank you so much for this information!!! I had a quick question, what do you think is the feasibility of using HHO to synthesize fuel or an ICE engine? Potentially blending with ethanol to remove any need for petrol. Am I crazy? Best, Zdtutta

I think you have to revisit this project. Huge potential. Solar or wind power instead of going into batteries getting turned into hydrogen and then used to power an electric car with either a fuel cell which is hard to get hold of so maybe a petrol generator converted to hydrogen.
