Will this effect fuel pressure ?!? I know you have the RPD display and it shows fuel pressure, have you seen a loss? If not I want this for my 08 HHRSS I just picked up!
i'm not familiar with the differences in the SS vs standard hhr 2.2 ecotech. My question is besides it being easily accessable for maintenance, why would one put a fuel filter here? And what about the factory location - which is inside the stupid fuel tank i think or underside along the rail somewhere. Is that one still being used as well so there is a reduncancy thing going on? Came across this while searching for trouble shooting annoying p0171 code (couldn't find a vacuum leak and really hoping it's not the fuel pump/filter)
So as far as I have heard and read, the only filter is in the tank and if my memory is correct, it's just the sock on the pump. This adds an extra level of protection for my piece of mind. This location is where the kit said to put it. Overall, I am happy with it and think it's a smart move. Not sure if it works on non-SS HHR's or not...
Curious. I watch the tech on zzp RU-vid video and he mounted his on the rear close to the upper charge pipe. Difference was that he was installing on a cobalt ss. Will there be a differece in where it's mounted?
