This channel is all about my life in the automotive world. I'll be featuring cars, reviewing products and anything else that is happening in my garage. Thank you for subscribing!
I know this was posted a while ago, so I would hope there are lots of miles on the car now and more people that have done this. Have you (or anyone else that follows this cannel that has made this modification) had any problems with it? Also wondering if you or any followers have had any issues passing smog tests with this kit on? My opti is dying and I'm considering this modification, but the car is my daily driver so it will need to pass NV smog check annually. If anyone has done this mod please let me know if it causes you to fail smog check. Thanks.
Go-to Carwash replacement for the Mr. Clean Autodry carwash product that I use is AMMO NYC Hydrate, mist and wipe on with a damp microfiber towel to dry for a spot-free job. It is still more work than the Mr. Clean regime though. I have tried using the Mr. Clean spray gun w/new filter and different soaps but did not achieve the water-sheeting results that the Mr. Clean Polymer soap does. I have also tried stand-alone water filtration units that soften the water and remove all the sediment, but it still does not give the results of the Mr. Clean kit. From what I remember back when it was discontinued, I spoke to someone at P&G who said it cost more to manufacture than it retailed for. All good things come to an end, while bad thing never seem to end.
They should allow accident with airbag deployed to all for free and have your auto insurance company pay a flat per incident fee for non members because most people have cell phone for talking or data and directions and dont want to pay double bills just to get the most serious issue of accident assistance…this could also save insurance money and lives.. since its available its a shame not to use it because of cost over risk benefit.. or as a second option im sure the accident victim would gladly pay a small one time fee so why isnt this on the table by law?
I have the exact same 2010 got it with 37000 km now up to 51. I also want to open the engine bay with a zzp intake and possibly a catless maybe a hann or magna flo. But I love the stock no cel lol. Def don’t want to mess with my baby too much
The bottom of the washer should be dry and the top of the washer should be lubricated so the bolt spins freely in the washer stays planted on the head surface not throwing off your torque spec because it will make sure the bottom of the washer is dry
The center caps on the wheels are actually from a cavalier. I made a how-to video: Impala SS OEM Wheel Center Cap Upgrade - SUPER EASY! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VPaGLvtlYlI.html
Thanks for that video! I'm looking for an update that you can find easily for infotainment system (Seltos EX 2021) in the USA, but it's not available in Canada? Trying to have wireless Apple CarPlay
Thanks for a well done presentation AND would you suggest one unit that claims 2500 sq ft coverage for a 2nd floor home with 3 bedrooms and a couple of baths? Or should I buy a smaller unit, that covers smaller areas and move it from bedroom to bedroom? Appreciate your help!
The Fiat 124 Spider Lusso is always compared to the Mazda MX-5 GT and I get it as so much of the autos are interchangeable. There is a difference especially in styling however in powertrain also. Both are excellent roadsters and have their own loyal followers. For me I preferred the 124 Spider for its overall more European flair and I like the 1.4 Turbo for everyday driving. I don’t track my car but really love the handling, feel and low to the road driving. I have a red Spider with 6 speed manual. The manual transmission is a must for me. Puts the fun into driving a roadster and makes you feel in control over the engine. I likely would have loved the MX-5 also but the look of the Spider more closely represents the Roadsters I grew up enjoying.
@@RubberCityMotoring ok cool I have my low profile Jack & 2 Jack stands my lights should arrive tomorrow & will install them this coming weekend great video 💯😎✌️
Get ur hands on Lasfit - LC plus if u have fitment issues. Those led bulbs are design to be compact and fits 95% of the vehicle. They only draw 25W per bulb, 2500 lumens per bulb, with mall cooling fan. These are brighter than what u have. Cooling fan will cool alot more led
I do! Just hit 80k miles and love it. For a daily, fits everyone, does good mpg - you can’t beat it. It’s a blast to drive too. Hope you find one you like!
@@tylerdurden-lv1cn So I am about 6' even and don't have any issues. The seats are on a pedestal, kind of like an SUV type, so that is something to consider. I don't think that's very uncommon nowadays, but I'd say try a regular HHR in your area to see if you like the layout, visibility, etc.
@@RubberCityMotoringoh man and I just put 2 and 2 together. Rubber city. I was thinking isn’t that Akron OH. I live really close to ya! About 15 mins south. C. Fulton. Keep up the vids man!! Been really getting into doing work on my TB. Im doing as much preventative maintenance on it as much as I can. Only got 130k on my 05 LS. Them straight 6s are super reliable as long as it’s well maintained. Have a great Sunday!
I change them for those too, but it was a pain in the ass the get all the wirings behind the lights🥵 My 63 has like a dual retainer cup (not 2 singles) that don't leave any free space ... it doesn't look at all like yours. I was able to jam it it all behind but everything is so tight ... I don't like that much. 😕 But the headlights are amazing! I can finally see at night! 😄
Good video, got me even more excited! Unfortunately I won't be there until Monday, but that will leave me 5 days. I buy, sell, evaluate, and broker collector cars. Last year I sold a 2021 F-150 Super Snake with 700 miles and bought a 1991 (?) Grand Prix pace car. I'm all over the place, I'm surprised I didn't turn up in the video :) Maybe I'll see you there!
Appreciate the step-by-step install! I recently graduated from 1/32 scale slot cars to a 1/1 scale 50th Anniversary coupe, and am now working through exterior updates. I just replaced the tail lights, third brake light, and side markers with smoke LED from vette-lights, super easy install, even the hyper-flash bracket. I'm more nervous about the front corner lights, mainly because I'm not as young as I used to be and those are some tight spaces! Looking forward to watching your other C5 videos, especially on the paint restoration. Great channel!
Thanks for this video. I have a 96 C4 and vette lights recently released the laser style tails for us and I wanted to see how they performed before pulling the trigger on ordering them for my car.
@RubberCityMotoring when you did this, did you need to get those funny little cloth spark plug wire heat shields? I just got a set of clear image headers and want to do this right the first time.
So I’m not sure on ‘need’ if you have good wires, but I also didn’t want to take any chances. The little heat shields helped, but they even got burned and toasted up the wires. I used them with opti and torqhead. I’ll say it’s good insurance if you don’t want to ruin wires. Hope that helps!
@@RubberCityMotoring it does help me for reference. also I was the guy who studied your video about the upgraded battery cables that I made myself (I posted on facebook). they did in fact work for me!
@user-hu5xb3yw9q oh perfect! Yea they were super nice to upgrade. I have a set for my corvette now, but I sure do miss that impala engine bay. The C5 cables are all hidden and crammed in there
@@RubberCityMotoring hoping to have my car done by June to hear how it sounds. I just ordered the ARP bolts and header gasket you recommended last night. my car hasn't been on the road since july 2019
