I don't wanna sound rude but can you just shut up from time to time in your reactions? You're missing like 45% of the lore because you talk over the dialogue
Since you have already seen this: We get what Tessa is like. And it is clear that she cares about the N, V, and J. With N being her favorite, quite understandable. And her parents clearly shows no signs of caring for them. -She did kill a worker drone in episode 3. So she might have no problems with killing Uzi. J and Tessa both working together makes it clear that they are a duo. Cyn, the drone that we were introduced in episode 2 and shows up in this episode, shares her voice with Eldritch J from episode 2. Possible connection. Then again, V mentioned Cyn when she was ready to kill Uzi in episode 4. So there is a connection. Doll having an eyepatch implies that she either can't undo the damage she recieved or she's wearing it to look cool.
She's using it to cover up the absolute solver symbol. She might be very close to overheating and the symbol might be permanently replacing that eye until she gets oil
It's just so sad how sweet and caring N is, and yet he got dealt such a cruel fate. He stood up for Cyn because she was like a little sister to him. He read to V while she was unresponsive, like many people do to coma patients in the hopes they'll hear and maybe wake up. Even the fact that he played with the birds before they tried to kill him and had to use his mouth to put V's glasses back on her face (like a golden retriever...) N is too pure for this world, and he got dealt just the worst hand.
From what we know, N,V,J and Cyn aren't really "repurposed", they are among the 0.01% coming back to life after being disposed of (as shown in the training video) , and have been rebuilt by Tessa, who keeps them as her personal bots. The bot we see waking up in the dump at the beginning is Cyn (it's written on her tag). She's probably among these 0.0075% who not only came back to life, but also had some mutations (once again, as shown in the training video).
I really need to rewatch all the episodes haha, especially the newest one. I wasn’t at my most awake and some stuff wasn’t clicking with me, so thank you for the clarification
@@4wheal I think they all are. From what we got in the episode, especially Tessa's mother, all the bots Tessa has are coming from the dump. Or at least were out of order at some point.
@@blitz3391 Well, I agree that they were disposed of, I don't think they came back the same way as Cyn did. We get to see what looks like her turning back on while under that gaint pile of bodies. She had yellow eyes then as well u like N and the others who had White.
I like the Detail of N being chained up while birds peck at him, very similar to the Greek god Prometheus' fate. Poor N, just trying to protect his sister.
According to that tape, worker drones need to have a special procedure done to properly dispose of them. Sending the murder drones to Copper 9 wasn't just unethical, it was illegal. Then again, there are no cops on Copper 9, so who's going to find out?
This made me realize something... If they were sent to eliminate all the AS drones, then what they are doing with not disassembling them properly might just make things worse
I'm guessing V has been so reluctant to help N learn about their past because because she felt bad for either being responsible or unable to prevent N's memories being wiped in the first place. It was only unsuccessful in the memories due to Uzi's interference.
from what I can tell Tessa's only friends were her personal drones, J, N, V, cyn, and all the other drones in the library, which is why she cared so much for them
20:27 Interesting detail: when Uzi wakes N and V up, tere is an absolute solver symbol turning from yellow to purple and some text around it. According to those lines of text, Uzi overrides Cyn's absolute solver/control over N and V and gives herself admin permissions in their OS's. I think this might be important later
Honestly my favourite episode in the series so far.The whole scenary perfectly setted the mood.A spooky mansion with the storm hapenning outside is such a cool concept. Also I wouldn't be suprised if 1x6 was finale of this season knowing he this had ended
Cyn being the “solver of the absolute fabric” is the absolute solver itself, meaning that it makes sense that she can control it from anywhere at anytime. We see that murder drones use the absolute solver to use their weapons and to repair their wounds, so Cyn can try to take control of the solver inside of them and as a result, control them. I think that that is what was happening to N and V and what happened to Uzi in episode 4. When she stopped the arrow, her solver symbol flashed yellow instead of purple, (Cyn’s color) right afterward, she went psycho vampire murder mode, so I think that Cyn took momentary control of her absolute solver and made it go completely haywire. As V said, “Dofferent body, same horrors. Huh, Cyn”?
My first theory was that Cyn was the absolute solver as an entity, and nothing else. But now I see that she is both the solver entity, and also inhabiting a dead worker. (I think) Just the way that the 4th drone moves and speaks makes me think that she’s not alive and is being controlled by the absolute solver.
After combing through (and probably missing a good bit), I think I found a good couple of talking points: 1. I believe the solver is something akin to the ghost in the shell aka a soul or a robo-demon. The evidence is the broken text seen when the first worker drone in the pile boots up as it is along the same lines as what CYN tells Tessa before going on a murder spree, "We will not throw you away." This is further supported in EP 2 as the creepy-centipede-snake-thing-J mentions to UZI and N that "you are our cute puppets." Anyway if someone can go into the whole schtick about the singularity I think that will clear up a bit more of what the solver is. 2. The error 606 is the "rare" occurrence of the disassembly OS being rejected by the drones. I reckon this is the second step to becoming a disassembly drone with the first being the absolute solver changing from false to true in the worker drone OS. Meaning, as J has mentioned in EP 1, there are other disassembly drone teams; unless the rest of the house workers were destroyed in the carnage. 3. Going back to EP 1 again, in N's reboot playback there's code mentioning a block to further regeneration (i.e. the one yellow light on his head being red the whole time he's talking with UZI) I reckon it was due to CYN being the admin to his OS and not wanting N to repair his memories. 4. After UZI overrides and gains admin privileges to break into their memories, we are quickly shown at the end of this EP that the access was scrubbed so I get the feeling things are going to be a bit interesting as now N and V have full control of their own systems. 5. Also UZI calling the basement the repression door means that they're digging into N's subconscious so there might be other bits shoved into the background. 6. J being labelled as industrial machinery by Tessa and the colour scheme of the disassembly machine matching the disassembly drones present look was a very nice touch. 7. There's a quick moment when Tessa's mother mentions throwing away the drones in the library, that there's a flash of worry in J's face. As J is really dismissive of V, barely tolerates N and cannot stand CYN there might be another drone that she probably doesn't want disposed of. Either that or J realised that her fate if she breaks down will be being disposed no matter how much Tessa dotes on her. 8. Finally after seeing that improper disposal of the drones comes with hefty fines and possible imprisonment, I bet the reason why the murder drones were sent was to cover up the fact that an entire planet of drones under the employ of JC Jensen is a thing. So a massive ass-covering by the company.
god damm I just realized that the reason Tessa's drones were different than the other servants was because they were those zombie drones that rebooted themselves (like the one who woke up in the body hill), if you pay attention to the opening line in episode 2 you can hear "we got to curb her trips to the dump" hinting that Tessa got them from the dump, meaning they had to have been the ones who woke back up after 'dying.' The reason they are so independent minded is because since they were supposed to be dissembled all the software forcing them to act like servants was removed, but when they woke back up there was nothing controlling them because all that stuff was erased
Love how this episode showed that J was always a company oriented drone hence why Tessa had to mess with her to get her to break her chains. Also something you'll only really catch if u go by frame by frame as N and V wake up you can see a read out on their HUD that shows Uzi replacing Cyn as having admin privileges for N and V with herself as now having admin privileges hence why Uzi looks satisfied when she turns back around.
And the worst parents award goes to Tessa's parents Not only are they entitled, snobby rich people, they also chain up their own daughter if she misbehaves. Actually not even if she misbehaves but if her drones don't follow orders too. Tessa's parents seem to have chained her up quite often. When J and Tessa were talking in the ball room (in the original video it's around 4:21) they cheered with glasses. Immediately after, Tessa was rubing her wrist and J looks worried. Tessa tells her that she's fine. Her parents must have chained her up so many times, her wrist is constantly painful
A new theory I have is that the murder drones were Tessa's personal drones who she converted to murder drones to hunt cyn. And the reason that the murder drones were so intent on murdering the worker drones is that cyn corrupted them. Also during episode 2 uzi points out that their communication in the pod was destroyed, but N still knew that J was still getting orders from someone, and who else other than cyn, who clearly is genocidal if we are assuming that cyn was related to the monster in episode 2
I think what happened is that cyn reset N’s memory and remade N V and J into murder drones with false orders to destroy all robotic life on copper 9(the planet they are on). Cyn isn’t even nessisaraly the absolut solver, just the primary host, and I think In later episodes she will be freed but idk for sure… so yeah!👍
Uzi said that N and V were unconscious because a program(I'm assuming the Absolute Solver) was trying to delete the memories that were shown during the episode.
This episode leaves me with more questions than answers…mostly the questions are “what’s going on?” “What’s the deal with Cyn?” And “how much of this actually happened?”
We see that Tessa had a bunch of drones that came back online (which is mentioned happens to 1% of drones in the training video) but they started to have “errors” that were them getting corrupted by the solver AI. I’m no longer certain the solver and Cyn are the same-she seems to be more of a primary host/patient zero when she wakes up in the dump (it’s mentioned .75% of that 1% come back with mutations). Towards the end V experienced the error too and N was reading to her in hopes of bringing her back. As for why N wasn’t corrupted-we see when he gets his head blown off in ep 1 that Cyn has blocked his solver so she may be trying to protect him and keep him around for company. She doesn’t seem to mind building him back from an old version if he’s destroyed though so clearly her “affections” only go so far.
Fun fact: There are multiple dubs for this episode. English, Spanish, Ukranian, and Russian. All are High quality dubs, you can switch it in the settings of the video. And in the Russian Dub, Doll speaks in English.
You didn't look through all the VHS details! How Zombie Drones arise as dangerous undead mutants as a result of a failure to remove all the components of a drone marked for disassembly. This seems to be where the Absolute Solver comes from. Given Tessa's drones are her "Dumpster pets" it seems some improperly disposed of/undissassembled drones were found by Tessa leading to the events of the series, particularly with Cyn who developed Absolute Solver with a vengence. "We can no longer be thrown out." The reason the disassembly drones were sent is likely to prevent more Zombie Drones. Why J says the Worker Drones are corrupted.
It’s ok I watched it again. Sometimes it’s hard for me to get my shit together and focus on everything I need to take a look at, and I just forget what I wanted to look at again. Just how my brain is unfortunately
Oh will do! I’m doing a full season rewatch when I get the time, and really going to try to gain a better understanding of everything. So I’m armed with more knowledge for when the next episode hits
The animation keeps getting better and better. There was some incredible imagery in this one, which is saying a lot coming from me because I was initially put off by the animation before starting the show
Seems a little more literal. The drones that got disassembled improperly that their systems rebooted on their own even after their supposed death. The VCR footage also showed what appears to be a small percentile of possibility for mutation to occur
Something that I've yet seen anyone mention (at least in the comment sections) is that V wasn't always comatose, as we see in episode 2's intro. So what happened between Tessa first bringing Cyn back and Cyn's rampage that caused her (and probably other drones) to have Error 606? And why didn't whatever-that-was also happen to J and N? On another note, I also don't hear anyone mention J's monologue to N after giving him the virus, "The worker drones are corrupted, N; I'd hate to see you corrupted too." Tessa has been shown to have a fondness for worker drones, so her willingness to kill a completely anonymous drone at the end of episode 3, without any provocation, seems odd. I presume that the murder drones were not sent to Copper 9 because humans did not want the worker drones to have autonomy, but because all of the drones have the capacity to be possessed by the Solver of the Absolute Fabric--an entity that has been shown to be murderously hostile to humans (and other drones, for that matter). Another often-overlooked line from this episode is Cyn's response to Tessa, "I have backups." N, V, and J from the past are clearly worker drones and also have white eyes, whereas our murder drones of the present have yellow eyes (similar to Cyn). We also see in the basement several drone corpses being refitted with the more iconic parts of the murder drones as we known them, not just N's. I don't think any of them survived the battle with Cyn, short of Tessa (somehow), and either Cyn or Tessa reuploaded their backups into new bodies ( I suggest Tessa only because J seems to be okay working with her, and I can't suspect Cyn would be too pleased with that after Tessa tried to kill her at the gala). Speaking of J, I think her reappearance at the end of episode 3 supports this, since her body was destroyed on Copper 9 and was never able to be rebuilt.
So I got a question what do you think about the centipede girl who killed the company and is sending out units under the company flag and protocols pretending to be the people
His animations are very light-hearted compare to his older stories. Imagine all the horror stuff without the funny parts. This ep is extremely similar to Black Dogs. Basically this but without the Uzi help. Everyday same day repeating itself. Mc trying to figure out what happened that day, what's happening right now and Why. Everytime they remember they have to hide it. If It notice that they remember... It will *make* them forget. 🐾
