That's the one my buddies bought there were being stupid this I couldn't remember the name I thought it was ridiculous it was so big and then they gave it that dumb name and then they put optic cuts on it like why like here there are equivalent to like I said before a burner phone or maybe a I don't know something you would use for a week and throw away disposable camera and I'll keep getting kicked out of the stores because I tell people all the time they could have both got lemons my friends I don't care but there's too many other guns out there you can use for self-defense even on a budget that you could just wait and save your money I would rather not have nothing and save money then have to buy a high point I would literally go back to my wrist rocket and throwing knives or some shit or a flea market crossbow do you think that they would have finally made it a regular size that's what makes it so ridiculous but I guess they know what the real usage is and they brag about the sails and how high they are I guarantee you if they did like a recall check in on the serial numbers for everybody to shoot a picture of the phone I mean to email of the gun and a picture with the email or the serial number they would probably get 10% of the guns they sold in a picture back the others are in a river and a landfill or under the ground somewhere anyway I'm done you guys know what you're talking about but I know what I've seen and what my buddies went through and they are very knowledgeable compared to me about all firearms like you guys maybe but not as much and they bought them as jokes and they were literally saying that they will never fire one again and my buddy that had the slide lock or whatever it's called Break in the slide fly off fucking has like day nightmare Daydream nightmares and PTSD from it and shit sometimes like he dwells on that a lot like a lot of people would say you got really lucky you didn't get killed this and that and that would be it and he has kids and shit and he's like dude if that would have hit me and we were just being stupid I wouldn't be here and I don't know I'm just rambling on but for me I wouldn't care about if criminals use it or not that's whatever but it's just a fact that to hear my friend keep talking about how he's still here today and why he don't know and from being stupid buying that gun and it did that and it would have killed him and he was just being stupid and left his wife and his children behind and it's just over and over like wow that's not evidence it's a piece of shit for me then I don't know what is because not only did it fuck up the dudes opinion about it but it almost killed him and now he's constantly thinks about what if it did

Last comment I'm going to make if I could tell a random person that knows nothing about guns and they usually start about Glock or something for their first gun I will guide them two ways they can't go wrong for the money the 365 and the PSA dagger having multiple blocks and a 22 and a 23 with every conversion Barrel found out after getting the other 9 mm that the dagger I prefer because for $300 that has a threaded barrel and optic cut a single slide and recoil spring that will work on full and small size frame it has a smoother and better beaver tail a better grip and the best part is all the Fanboys from Glock that wanted to hate it after their head-to-head review actually said that the dagger felt better in their hands I went stupid for about a year and started buying parts as they went on sale on built 5 daggers all under $300 a piece some 275 and I've seen people that have bought Glocks for $600 and rip them apart to put dagger Parts on and I think it's an upgrade
@MrJoeygregory
@MrJoeygregory 25 дней назад
Damn it I was just getting ready to leave and you did the optic prices my buddy has a optic exactly the same as that Trijicon that he got from Amazon that is still holding zero he beats the piss out of it and he paid like $80 for it they might not be completely identical but he has the original one and the Amazon one and he said that he wished he could return the original one I personally can only have an optic if a CO Witnesses I'm not a optic guy plus then you have all the eBay clones my buddy bought a scorpion stupid for $149 That was supposed to be a thermal scope that did record video and was supposed to be dead ass accurate and hold zero and we thought it would be garbage and the video quality is not phenomenal but it does provide thermal and all that other stuff and it does record and there's a lot of sun style box Optix I see they're just not for me until I start getting into like the CAA 2.0 or my 3.0 or any of those chassis setups or those type of guns I'll use a rifle Red Dot or a micro rifle tactile attack. But anyway I'm wondering this whole time why the fuck you're comparing these two guns LOL the high point in the staccato that's like putting a piece of shit next to a diamond Rolex

Great presentation. I love to see numbers like this. 1) If you are going to shoot 10,000 rounds to become a good shooter, how many hi-points will you have to buy to shoot all 10,000? How many M&Ps? 2) If you are going to fire 100,000 rounds over the next 10 years, how many $600 guns are you going to have to buy? How many Staccatos? What is the break-even point for each gun. Basically, I think that a shooter might need a new Hi-Point every 1,000 rounds. At 10,000 rounds a year, that is 10 guns or $2,000 per year. At 2 years, and $4,000 in Hi-Points, the Staccato is a less expensive option. The Hi-Point only works financially if you don't shoot it. 3) What is more likely, that someone will shoot 100,000 rounds out of a Glock, or fire 100,000 rounds out of a Staccato? The fun factor is very important. People only shoot guns over the long-term that they love to shoot. I think the biggest mistake new shooters make is to buy a small/ snappy gun that is not fun to shoot. I see most of them train for a few months and then shoot once or twice a year. They would have been better of getting a gun that was fun to shoot so that they would have gone to the range more often. 4) It is better to give the police a $3,000 gun after a civilian self-defense incident than it is for the police to take a $200 gun from your dead body. Compare the cost of an expensive gun vs the cost of a long hospital stay and years of therapy. Or lost wages because you are crippled. The police can have my expensive gun, my local gun store will be happy to sell me another one just like it. The largest financial loss after a shooting is probably going to be lawyers fees, which are about 25,000 if the case doesn't go to trial, and about 100,000 if it does.
@zerodelgato3842
@zerodelgato3842 Месяц назад
You don't have to buy a new hi point when they break, they have a lifetime warranty, that's the lifetime of the gun not the owner, if you manage to break it too badly to fix they send you a new one.

what do you think is going to happen to a hi point after 1k rounds? the frame is going to crack in half? the slide is going to break in half? the barrel is going to explode? that's a bold claim that I don't think is rooted in reality. guns typically don't just fail after 1k rounds. that's literally a case of ammo. Just because a gun is affordable doesn't mean it's going to be useless after 1 case of ammo. BTW I am a staccato owner so I am not sticking up for hi point because I own one😂

i have guns with 40-50k rounds, Thu them Steyr m9 and p10 etc and i had rental guns clear 50k rounds . staccato and ed brown etc are not bad guns, but i had more failures withthose pistols than a Glock Steyr 226 etc. as rentals . buying a cheap gun isn't needed when a used Glock Steyr 226 is 350ish . you are like dude who says give me a cheap set of breaks for wife's car and doesn't think
@Zeromodulation
@Zeromodulation Месяц назад
😂 you’ve been really affected by marketing to think a it’ll fail after 1000 rounds; generally finer tolerances and more complicated firearms will always be more prone to failure and maintenance. While I’d never pick a high point, there’d be no doubt it’d shoot thousands and thousands of rounds. The difference in price between the two, for the same cost as a staccato you can shoot several thousand 9mms as well as pay for atleast 10-15 hours of group/private instruction

TEST AND RESULTS: Skill beats equipment: the better the equipment the more it amplifies your skill. ANSWER BASED ON RESULTS: Buy cheap and effective at the beginning and only once you have mastered the basics then go up a price step until you have refined mastery, once you have refined your mastery of your skills THEN AND ONLY THEN spend the high dollar on your firearm of choice. Honestly start with a PSA 15/10 and a PSA Dagger and like 2000 rounds of AAC ammo for each because all them are cheap and effective at what you want to learn and do.

I started with a walther p22 as my first pistol. Shot the hell out of it but wanted to just dip my feet into a larger caliber. One day I walked into a gun shop and they had a brand new hipoint c9 for so cheap I was out the door with the gun and 2 50 rd boxed of accident blazer brass for a little over $130. At the time 9mm was like $12 for the 100rd Winchester white box, so I'd pick up a couple boxes everytime I went to the range and go through every round. Igot a ton of trigger time in with the hipoint. One of the local towns police department put on a range day for civilians. When I pulled out the c9 the one cop laughed and asked how it was. I was like well it does the job and puts a bullet where I point it. Then I ran the pistol tree and didn't miss a shot and his jaw dropped. It is a crap feeling gun and heavy, but in all the years I owned it i never had a malfunction and legitimately never cleaned it once and it had to have had close to 10,000 rounds through it conservatively. I upgraded to a walther p9 and it sat collecting dust. Offered it to my dad, he didn't show interest so I sold it to a buddy for $50.

You forgot to mention that giant chunk of heavy cast slide doesn’t even ride on guide rails. There’s a tiny little detent with a little circular head like a 1/8” lolly pop inserted into the toy plastic frame is the only think keeping that brick of a slide on that danger stick that feels like a dollar general cap gun. To take it down you need a hammer and a punch and if the pistol grips , held on with drywall screws, loosen up you will bind up the bullpup like trigger linkage effectively making the gun a literal brick. Forget the garbage non anti tilt single stack tuna can composition mags. With that said , I would never use a stacatto for anything besides a competition or range gun and the name Yeet cannon absolves the trash can of its carnal sins.

So this proves that there is room in this industry for both serious science stuff and fun. In fact, that's exactly what I want. Just dry science is boring. Also training should be fun, you should enjoy going to the range. I would second everything in this video. I think that some of it would be confusing to a new shooter however. By the time you understand all this stuff you likely already know for yourself the answer to if you can buy performance. That being said it was good stuff and I enjoyed it. My first gun when I became serious about shooting was a FN 509 Tactical [yes, i did trigger job.] I shot many thousands of rounds through it before upgrading to a shadow 2, which I prefer over a staccato personally. By the point I got the shadow I was able to see the improvement it provided. If you're just starting out get a Glock or an M&P and spend the rest on ammo. Even if you have tons of money you should wait until you can appreciate the safe queens. If you're like me you may find yourself still shooting that starter gun because you're so good with it. : )

I would rather have a staccato more reliable than a High Point. They’re made for a ballpoint ammo and only that.
@kevmac1230
@kevmac1230 Месяц назад
Do High Points fire when you pull the trigger? I don't know I've never owned one.But I would never look down on someone who chooses one for budget or other reasons. My most expensive gun is a $500 or so Kimber Mako. If I could afford a 2 or 3 grand shooter I probably would spend on it. That said, my sub $300 (before taxes etc.) Stoeger or Mossberg shoot great and i'm happy to own them.The more legal firearm owners the better. We have enough anti 2A types to worry about.I became a gun owner late in life because it rubbed me the wrong way being told I shouldn't own or be able to make the choice.I find it ironic that gun laws are introduced and passed by many that have never even held one.

I have got kicked out of three or four gunshots because I have two friends personally one almost killed from a slide block breaking from firing it they bought them to be stupid the Tactical version to go to the range and say they're better than all the guns they've ever shot and aggravate people and the other buddy his had some type of internal combustion or explosion and severe burns to his hands and shrapnel they call those the clap and toss I've heard it many times people talk about it on social media I even heard a dude walking down the street a while back saying that yes somebody hit my cousin up with a clapping toss they're like $100 so it's basically like a burner phone that's about what it's good for is illegal shit and then ditch it I mean if one of them had a catastrophic failure that be something maybe he got a lemon but both and I've seen videos where they perform phenomenally but I think all in all it's a bad company not because just my friends had that happen to them but they sell so many of them for the price and the murder rate Skyrocket they literally pull hundreds of them out of the rivers here over the past couple years and if you guys are going to keep using them be careful and keep checking them my buddies were very good at doing that shit and they were very weary of that gun and the dude said that he would have never have thought that block would have broke and a slide would have came off because he double-checked it like after every mag or not every mag but like every time he would shoot so many rounds he would take it apart to check everything and I seen where it hit the wall I wasn't there that day but it would have killed him instantly it went into a cement brick wall and put a hole in it behind his head had he had turned his head the other way or somebody said something and he turned to look at them as he fired at what event like shooting a a bar of metal out of a miniature roghtinto his face

I'll take my $250 PSA Dagger. It's run just fine with no problems, and has one of your Predator dots on top of it. I also carry a S&W 9 EZ, as it's really slim and comfortable to have on. I only paid a bit under $400 for that years ago, and it's also run really well. So even without a new, full-priced Glock or M&P 2.0, you can get things like the PSA Dagger for a LOT of value.
