A good rework for hibana would be to give her a pool of 18 pellets (same as she already has) but she would be able to choose between shooting 4 or 6 pellets. She would be able to open 4 hatches at the cost of opening no walls. I think this would give her more flexibility without stepping into thermite's territory.
Ubi: It seems that our players are in a very tough meta where attackers must take out defender utility. Also Ubi: Lets add another bulletproof gadget to defense (melusi) and nerf one of the only attackers who dealt with utility.
i wish ubi would remove the front sight on some guns cause they always get in the way when your using some scopes. for instance castle and hibana with 1.5 scope.
Thats what i thought, the meta right now is defender favoured with defenders having way too much utility and thatcher being banned every game also makes it an issue
also bandit tricking wont be as easy now. bandit as of now can just put a new battery but now you have to pick up the disabled one which makes it easier to breach and i dont know how many times hard breaching was denied in ranked

Mailbox: What about a Jackal rework where instead of scanning and pinging enemies like he does currently, his gadget acted more like pulses' scanner where the closer you move to an enemy, the colors of the footprints would change or the gadget would vibrate. This could help with the frustration caused by being constantly pinged and makes Jackal's gadget more active and less global. It would also encourage more teamwork. Thoughts?
Braeden McCue The issue with this is you wouldn’t know when Jackal is coming, say you’re a roamer and you’re hiding out somewhere to go on cams, he can be coming towards you without you even knowing, the pinging at least warns you.
@@cartermwills I understand how that could could be frustrating, but I think that would be better than jackal's ability having a global effect in game. At least in the form I am suggesting, the information is available only to jackal and would require coordination in a team to be used most effectively. The same could be said for pulse, but he doesn't seem to generate much frustration with the way his gadget currently works, which is why I don't see why a jackal rework like this would worsen the frustration.
I think they could add a grip that decreases horizontal recoil, I feel like with new scopes they could add a new grip to help to weapon customization. Also would help especially with guns like elas smg.
I think with the Thatcher nerf we may see more Fuze and him being used to clear rooms of items instead of just thinking of using his charges to get kills.
a good change to hibana imo is being able to change exactly where each of her pellets will shoot possibly controllable when you ads with the x kairos launcher so you could have 000 000000 0 0 0 000 0 0 0 and more this would help her make muderholes or cheeky angles.
I’m a maverick main so the fact that with Mav is getting a lot of attention with being of better than most hard breachers I wonder if they are going to nerf him for his pick rate as he is going to be really a important person to have
i feel like theyll make it so that you can switch the firing mode on her x kairos so you can alternate between shooting 6 pellets at a time and shooting 1 or 2 pellets at a time this would effect her ability to open hatches because you only need about 4 pellets to open a hatch
Are shield operators viable? A lot of focus is on fragging and utility ops (understandably as only 3/50+ are shields) and would you prefer upcoming attack operators bringing shields? And do you think shield ops are competitive? Just wondering what you think of shield ops in general.
What do you think about an operator who had some sort of launcher that shot out reinforcements and barricades from range with the new reinforcement pool they could do a lot of the work for the team during the prep phase
The Thatcher nerf is actually good because it can disable the bandits requiring bandit to take the charge and place it down again. Making it harder to bandit trick.
Matt what do you think of an operators ability which is having 3-4 reinforcements, that are thin ones that can be deployed really fast but glaz and Kali can shot through it. It takes maybe 3 to 4 bullets in one small area to open a hole. Maybe bandit can electrify two thin walls with one battery.
What do you think about a new hard-breaching operator (i know we just got ace and the new gadget, just curious on your thoughts for future ops) where they have a gadget where it works similar to thermite, where it is a big explosion, but the operator has the choice of either laying the charge down vertically, similar to thermite, or horizontally, where you can place it on the upper half of a wall (or lower), and blow out a section where you can take cover behind the bottom half of the reinforcement? I think giving an op this kind of freedom will allow for interesting gameplay and could be an effective new way of breaching open reinforced walls.
What do you think about getting more maps added to the map pool or just taking the map pool away completely once map ban comes into play? That way we get more variety and if teams don't want to play a map like house or tower it can be banned, but if they are okay with playing one of the less competitive maps in ranked they get the option occasionally in this new system.
I feel like the rework will be allowing her to change how many pellets she shoots out from a choice of 2/4/6. This would allow her to get an extra hatch and would also allow 2 hatches + a crouch hole for you to walk though which would be nice.
Hey Matimi0, what would you think about a solo queue only ranked mode in addition to normal ranked? I don’t have many friends who play but I still like the competitive feel, but hate when I get paired with a 4 man and a full 5 man enemy team
What do you think about castle rework where his armor panels are spiked and drones cant get under and it damages to touch or punch, it would work like an electric wall and you cant break it with normal breaches cause of the spikes but you can ash charge grenade ect
Maybe a good change is a wider area with equal distribution. Hatches now have health instead of just that frame. when you aim at the hatch up to a certain angle it makes the hatch get destroyed instantly and completely, and then if a few pellets are hit you can have Maverick slice the rest off. Especially since he is getting a buff.
Mozie shoots his thing on the main reinforced wall, zero shoots his thing on the wall, mozie caps it, then mozie is able to shoot therm charge. Just an idea
I imagine they might have Hibana's gadget alternate between 2, 4, or 6 breach pellets to be able to choose different hole sizes and maybe you only need a 4-pellet burst to open a hatch. 18 total pellets, 4 hatches and a 2 pellet hole or....something...? IDK
I think the rework might involve her being able to change how many pellets she can shoot, which would make sense because she only needs 4 to open a hatch meaning she could open 4 hatches.
Do you think maestro should get another evil eye? With the new addition of the secondary hard breach and zero’s cameras it would allow you to defend the sites two main walls from the hard breach as well as being able to keep another cam on site for what ever reason.
I honestly think that a few changes can make Hibana a good hard breacher choice. For example: - giving her the 2.0 scope - making her x-kairos able to destroy shields - improving the magazine size of type-89 ( from 20+1 to 25+1 ) - making the x-kairos activation automatic
thenyanhamster04 yes, those are both great options. Take away the fmg9 and the fish slap gun and give her the Ar33 or the Sc3000k. Or an alt for the Ar33 is Vigils K1A. But the pistols are great just the primaries are bad.
Hibana is getting reworked to enable her to shoot out 2/4/6 pellets at a time. If you pay attention to the damage chart the released that the hardbreaching tools do. 4 pellets open a hatch, she had 18 pellets in total.
They could allow Hibana to select the number of x-kairos to launch. Since hatches need only 4 with the new update, you could switch between launching 4 kairos and get 4 hatches plus a peek hole instead of the 6-shots she usually fires.
Hey Matimi0, what do you think about moving the defensive cameras in other spot of the map. I feel like people who had the game for years automatically take them out too fast and aren’t really useful anymore.
I heard somewhere from a leak that hibanas rework is going to be a pool of 18 hibana pellets and you get to chose if you want to shoot 2,4, or 6(the current amount) in theory allowing her to open 9 hatches, or create better peak holes, or spread out her breach more effectively.
Do you think that throwable sticky gadgets, like electroclaws, valk cams, prox alarms, etc. should be able to be deactivated by their owners and drop to the floor for the person to throw again? it would be used if you throw it somewhere high but can't reach it to pick it up and re-throw it.
I feel like a cool dynamic would be if you could choose the amount of pellets you shoot. Instead of having 3 shots. You'd have 18 pellets. This could help against impact tricking and instead of only being able to get 3 hatches you could get 4.
I think the habana rework might be something where she can choose the amount of pellets shit at once so basically she could shoot just 2 pellets to open up 1 hatch,this in turn would buff her to be able to open I think 6 hatches or more and also she could make small kill holes in walls similarly to how maverick can be used
Maybe allow Hibana to choose how many pellets come out of her gadget. It only requires 4 pellets to open a hatch so maybe she could save the other 2 pellets for murder holes like maverick. Just a thought 🤷♂️
Because thatcher can already take out lighting systems in the game, do you think that attackers and defenders should be able to shoot out lights, it could help in frustrating areas like party rooms and could also buff warden where he could see better in the dark
There was a leak that I saw that said habana would be able to pick how much pellets she launches between 2, 4 and 6. What makes the leak abit more trustworthy they also said we would get automatically re enforced roof hatches before it was announced
Do you think ubisoft should add a test server or casual game mode with the new map like the mute protocol event on xbox so they can get used to the new map rather than just trying to get used to it during the ranked season
Hinana change: change gadget like zofias, 2 normal hibana hard breaching charges, and press button to change to hatch hard breaches. So she can still open walls, but keep hatch utility, without having to choose between wall or hatches. What do you think?
Honestly I could care less about her losing or gaining the ACOG, what she really needs is a larger magazine in her primary or a buff to the bearing-9. Her gadget needs to be buffed in someway as well.
I think Hibana's gadget should activate faster. You press the button after deploying and the outer most pellets start to detonate right away and it chain reacts inwards. Defense can still take them out by shooting but it gives you a chance to get more holes in a wall.
Mailbox: I feel like the attacker/defender dynamic is very counter-terrorist/terrorist. What do you think about a new game mode where the attackers have to do a terrorist act, I feel like it could add new dynamics to underused characters and spice up the variety.
What about being able to choose the number of pellet's that her gadget shoots out. This would allow her to open up to 9 hatches or say three hatches and 2 sections of a reinforcement
I believe a rework for her has already been leaked. She can choose the amount of pellets she fires out and since you only need 4 for a hatch she could theoretically open 3 hatches and one prone hole or just multiple peek holes like Maverick.
For Hibana her update will be she can either shoot 3 pellets or 6, and they will make them stronger so 3 could destroy a hatch. Giving her more breachability and allows her to make slots in walls to shoot through
I feel like they could improve hibana by changing her x karios so it can change the amount of pellets that come out at once so like 1 2 4 and 6 at once and then the ability to switch it would make her better
