Well for me it was the constant bugs I had fps issues, sometimes hitreg problems, mostly game breaking bugs back in steel wave the game was really consistent imo no major problems for me
@@hummingbirdwithanar8281 Just started playing again after quitting when para bellum came out. Something about these live service battle pass games is so off putting for me.
I feel like mat didn't understand the first comment. As someone who's played the beta the game feels off. like the theme of the game has changed or is going in another direction.
@@geoffreyallen9314 yeah honestly, everything like the realism, the fun new load outs every season, Ubisoft actually giving a shit about console, and even the graphics were better in my opinion. They just don’t have anything good to offer to the game anymore.
I don't play R6S, but I look forward every week to another Matimio video. Legitimately always a highlight of my day 👍 Matt's positivity is so infectious, I love it.
Im guessing there us no way to keep the current physics simulation of the body drop and keep the netcode where it currently is. Either had to lower the physics quality to keep bandwidth impact to a minimum but also have silly looking death animation or keep the same physics and increase latency considerably for a mostly asthetic mechanic. They went with the sinplest solution and I agree with them.
I just hate rainbow right now. I checked my casual mmr and im plat 3, me and my friend played quick match and we fought against a champion. I just want to have fun.
Came back to your channel after a little hiatus, very refreshing to see you on video talking about these things, it adds a lot to your content to see your expressions and movements when speaking about things. Keep it up. (maybe even stay there the whole video)
I think the biggest disadvantage of the solo queues would be how exponentially longer finding a game would also be for people who do Team up with other people, as the solo people can fill in for half filled teams, if you have everyone who is by themselves playing the one mode, then the teams of 3 or 4 will almost never find an actual full team
@@anyau Power creep has always existed, literally there were new maps after operation health, tons of good and useful gadgets, the community itself doesn't no what balance is....
What do you think about adding a fuel/battery mechanic to drones after death? Once someone dies, their drones have a certain amount of mobility before they become stationary and cannot be turned or moved.
What they should do for the bodies is allow us an option to turn it on or off. Have it so bodies lose collision after they hit the ground so that way they can't stop bullets and problem fixed for everyone
What if the dead attacker's drones was only able to be moved for only 8 seconds like Flores gadgets? This way you can reposition them to a better spot without being able to follow or giggle around a defender?
Hey Matt, a question for mailbox. How would you feel about shield operators being able to break a barricade in one melee hit? Would it have any meaningful impact on their performance?
@Matimi0 what do you think about an attacking operator who shoots proximity alarms that go off and bing like and alibi when they walk through this would be like what they had in the newest game mode when you locked a room down
Mailbox Question How would you feel about a buff/nerf for Maverick where a mute jammer would stop his torch from working but his torch would be slightly more efficient so he could open up a little more?
Question: What if they just let people pick up unused drone from friendlys. The one already deployed cannot be picked up. Only the one still carry on the operator.
3:04 I like how he looks at the Welcome Mat (and undoubtedly knows his teammate is outside that window) and he doesn’t shoot it lmao. AND he doesn’t go back to help his teammate when they step in said Welcome Mat 😂😂
@Matimi0 - For the drone restrictions maybe they could have those antenna there for a reason? What I mean is that your drone could only go so far from where your body would be and as you got further away you would "lose connection" or something and gain that effect that a Mute jammer gives off. This could maybe be on top of the battery life idea too if one of these changes isn't enough(?)
He was afraid to be on camera for a long time because of “cyber bullies” so he wasn’t on screen for years and grew the neck beard so people won’t make fun of him anymore 🤣 why do you think he doesn’t interact with his viewers?
Sunday mailbox question: what do you think let drone after death change to let each attacker has only one drone to control after death, if it still too powerful than what about only let the first and second death attackers has the drone after death.
Mailbox - Do you think renown should increase cause it takes a while to get a lot of renown if you play a couple of hours a day e.g trying to get to 25 alpha packs take a couple of months
What if they were to change drone after death to where when you die, your drone drops from your body, It can't move, but you can swivel the camera to look around, so the camera is stationairy, but can still get enough information to matter.
My problems with the drone after death concept are Echo and Maestro. If they can still plant deny after death, what‘s the reward for killing them? It just feels kinda f‘d up.
What do you think about attackers being able to pick up a phone off of a dead teammate? When they pick up said phone and you can control whatever drones are available to that player.
Do you think they are going to have to buff doc because of the new operator. There will be no reason to play doc anymore. What if the give him a 2x scope or make him a two armor and two speed.
I think the only good buff to 3 armor will be if they made headshots deal 110 damage instead of insta kill, that means 3 armor needs 2 headshots or 1 headshot and 1 body shot, cuz to be real no one likes to play 3 armor for their extra health but for gadgets and scopes, since they have bigger heads and they are slower so easier to hit. they could do this by adding a helmet to them that is when it get shot it will make a sound that means the helmet is dropped. what do u think of this idea?
That changes the whole headshot meta though. Most Plat and above kills are headshot I believe, that change would take a defining element of Siege and do away with it.
Kind of as a reverse to the solo queue ranked, what if they added a team ranked/5 stacked ranked queue so that you can take your 5 stack and play against other 5 stacks to make it truly fair?
Matt, an idea if you wanted to be in the maps... turn off the HUD and then take a screen grab when you swap weapons so the weapon and HUD is gone then you would just be on the map, no gun pointed at you. Maybe you thought of this and don't want to though. Just an idea.
Drone mechanic fix: When the match starts, your drones have one minute of "moving" time. You move, time ticks down. You stop, timer stops. You die, you can still operate the drone, but if you've been driving it around like an RC car, it'll eventually lose power and act as a static camera. Jumping could knock 5 seconds off the battery.
Im wondering what next Siege international animated if the after death drone can be used. Like what? If they're out the will play with their phone on the bench?
@@Sun-Tzu- a simulation doesn't mean they can't feel what's in the simulation. It wouldn't really be a "true" simulation if pain wasn't simulated. Otherwise what would be the point?
what if there was just a filter in the ranked queue where you can limit the size of groups allowed into your matches (groups of size 1, 2,3,etc)? that way if you're a solo queue and only want other solo's you can check that filter and hop in queue. if 5 man's wanted to face other 5 man's they could only have that option selected. I do think that the size of your own group would have to be included by default just so 5 man's couldn't face everyone EXCEPT other 5 man's. I try to visualize this like BF4's server selection filters, but simplified.
On the Drone Rework what if you could only move your first drone, that way you pay more conservatively with the first one, second one can't move once you're dead
Mailbox question: What is the current siege meta like right now? Could you explain some of the facets of the meta that you’d wanna know if you were a player returning to the game after a few year hiatus?
I think the "Client Sided body" issue and fix should be toggle-able if that is even a word, in order for a compromise between Competitiveness and immersion. Just give people options ubisoft. Also Ubisoft instead of nerfing most picked operators with negative win rate/delta, buff weak operators instead.
