Today, I'm making a Hibiscus Clay Face Mask Base. I've been using this this wonderful homemade mask base for several months and have been loving the results it's been giving my skin. It's natural and pure and provide much needed nutrients and minerals to give skin glowing results.
Simply mix together 4 tbsps hibiscus powder with 6 tbsp of bentonite clay. For more sensitive skin you can substitute with Kaolin clay. Store in your medicine or vanity bathroom cabinet and when you are ready to do your mask, grab your other ingredients and mix together.
Face Mask:
2 tbsp mask base
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey
Why these ingredients?
Hibiscus is a great antioxidant which can increase collagen that keeps skin plump and elastic and nourishes the skin. Bentonite clay helps unclog pours and is said to remove toxins from the face, helps clear up acne and rebuilds damaged tissue. Honey has antibacterial properties which can help stop zits from happening. It also adds moisture to your skin and prevents premature aging. Apple Cider vinegar helps balance PH and prevents zits.
Use it once a week and you won't regret using it. Follow up with toner and moisturizer and you should see results almost immediately.
