One of the the most beautiful places in florida, I worked there with the Fl. Game and Freshwater Fish Commission as a game manager in the 1950's when it was the Aucilla WMA.

I didn't see any extensive damage. A car wouldn't have any problem driving out there now. Not sure why they wont open it.

I love this place! My girlfriend and I have been going out there and walking in...find ourselves there alone. Love the fishing.

Here it is. It's north of Keaton. It's very popular for catching blue crab and netting shrimp.
