That was really fantastic!! Eerie and magical place. I would love to know the names of the people in those 4 coffins and why they are not in the graveyard. Thank you for your hard work getting through all of that overgrowth!!
@@GraveVisitations Let us know if you find the details of those at rest in the crypt. The door looks quite recent. It's nice to see that somebody cares about them.
@@GraveVisitations like to know how the bared it shut from the inside? Unless they removed sones from where you were looking, barred the door shut, replaced the stones .
The Celtic Cross has a very interesting history and designs. The Cross of Cong is worth researching for those that are interested. It is a 12th century Irish Christian processional cross inscribed Tarridelbach Un Conchobair, (1156. ) King of Connacht and High King of Ireland. Enjoyed the video. Cheers.
Grown....but always peaceful and sad😢 the father and baby daughter. Hearts can break at any age. Thanx for the walk. I can't get over how houses and a hiway is right there next to a graveyard with stones back in the 1800's😊
So sad to see that wonderful cemetery so overgrow. The church is lovely and WOW what a find in the crypt! That was exciting. Thank you Irish Eyes and Sue!
This first part has nothing to do with the video but when I listen to the introduction it brought back a memory that when I was a child my Grandad used to always call me Irish Eyes and laugh at me. One day I asked him why he called me that and he said because I’m usually either smiling or up to no good. He is one of my Irish ancestors that I’m trying to trace his Irish ancestors. Back to the video I am seeing little child spirits playing there They are happy that you and Serenity Sue came to see them. I absolutely love both your channels ❤❤
Wow my friend that last crip was surly a surprise both of you are awesome going through those woods like storm troopers yes another amazing video thanks please stay safe Godspeed.
That was so good and the crypt as well can't wait for the next one.thank you take care. Couldent join in with the chat my computer is playing up.had trouble all day with it.take care.☘☘☘ive had better days.
Holy Smokes! What an amazing explore! Loved all the trees growing every which way giving a very enchanting vibe! Then finding the crypt hidden away in the forest! An amazing explore as usual! Best wishes from Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦♥️🇮🇪♥️
Love your videos i just noticed the beginning of your video you are definitely driving on the left side of the road somewhere in Europe for sure another fantastic video thank you for sharing you and Sue please stay safe😂
I loved this place! The crack in the wall where we could see into that hidden crypt looked like it was originally open, maybe a doorway or a window, the rock filling the open part looked different from the rest of the wall. So cool! I wish we knew who those four people were
A beautiful old graveyard, it’s sad that it’s overgrown. On the bright side though, at least there’s no snakes and the white flowers are beautiful. These folks who passed long ago at least have wildflowers to decorate their graves. 😢 Great explore Irish and Sue!!
What an amazing find, no wonder they have not cleared that area in the Church graveyard. If there is one Crypt there then there maybe possible more, and that tree growing though the wall just shows the fantastic way nature has the upper hand in the end. Thank you for this one, amazing history that maybe hidden under that overgrown section. Well done Irish eyes and Sue, take care and bless you both 💕🇦🇺
I loved this video. Congrats, that crypt was indeed an amazing find and happy to see the coffins were in good condition! I didn't think you were going to find anything! LOL Cheers.
I cant believe your readings , you are spot on , that's me , that's my life , that's my past and hell yes it will be my future... thank you , thank you for validating ME ❤❤
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍top number mate good to see you both out and about.fantastic find of the crypt ,Definately a family resting there ,if the cemetery was cleared it might be accessible from that side perhaps even a name might be visible.I see a few people feel like me ,it should be cleared up so the headstones can at least be seen.Councils, unemployed I’m sure there’s people who could cleare it up,anyway I’ll let you sleep ,take care travel safe and well 👋👋👋from ballarat in Oz,🇦🇺
Hello Irish Eyes (and Serenity Sue ) You just never know what you may find hidden behind a gate in a deep dark wood :) I wonder how hard it would be to put together a group of volunteers to clear up a graveyard? I enjoyed the walk and hopefully I will catch you live next time :)
grass is allowed to grow in some graveyards in areas to help with wildlife in the UK giving wildlife a home - a lovely concept if they are older graves loved it thank you
I stumbled upon your channel yesterday. You'd left a very kind comment on someone's video, and it made me curious. I'm so glad I subbed-up....yours is a wonderful channel, very interesting!
An amazing video once again, thank you for all the hard work and the videos you do for us. Please let us know if you find anything out regarding the crypt and who those coffins may belong too, as would be very interesting. Thank you once again xx
G.V. I was just thinking if we could fence in parts of these cemeteries and put a herd of 🐐 goats on these overgrown places and problem solved. A small area at a time would be helpful.
Imagine 150...200 yrs from now what will our Graves be like? Will someone care for our eternal rest either? Who will come and speak our names aloud again??? Amazing crypt in that wall !!! Unbelievable !!!
I get slightly emotional when the grave stones are for the very young and so long ago you wonder what life was like well over a 120 years ago .. i bet it was so hard i am told the poor had nothing only the people who worked had any sort of life rip to them all ..
Hi there Irish Eyes, just want to ask before I watch all the video, I’m presuming this church built 1824 replaced a previous one on this site? I’m asking because of the stone at the entrance about Mr Grogan having been hung in 1728 was then buried here? Also do you think his wealthy family would have paid for a good headstone to have been erected, even though he had been hung, would it possibly be on the site Find a grave that Ron uses in Faces of the forgotten? I’m just thinking of someone else having found it there and getting it noted if you follow me. Sorry to waffle on..was fascinating to read that stone. Helen xx
Hi Helen I'm thinking maybe there was no church before this one just a buriel ground. Cornilious grogan wasn't hanged he was dicapatated and body thrown into river. Linda Ball is looking into finding out some information and she has emailed wexford historical society etc. Thank you for getting in touch ❤️
Irish Eyes 🍀I’ve had this cemetery-Church and that Overgrown Tomb on my mind a lot since Watching your video.. Could you or Serenity Sue Take your peranormal device to tomb-cemetery soon?!?🌿🌾I’m sure you would get a reaction especially at/in that old secrets garden 👩💻☕️🤷♀️
Great job! I thought I saw a coffin in the first hole in the wall at 34 minutes or it may have been a square rock but it looked out of place compared to the rocks that the wall was built out of. let me know what you think.
Not sure how your school system works but the older students. If each community put a group together to clean these graveyards and then know and learn that all these souls gone before them is their history😊
The arms on most of the crosses are not symetrical ,i have always wondered why ,my feeling is that it has something to do with the knights Templar because their crosses are the same way.
How could they have locked it from the inside? Did you try the door on the last video? Been watching backwards. I thought Ireland didn't have snakes? That's what we have too watch out for in brush like that. Hey from Texas❤️Great job❤️
Is always sad to see such overgrown cemeteries / graveyards - I see no reason why the controlled use of cattle can't be used to prevent this as surely this is a better option to the minor damage they may inflict
