The cannons, the spears, the javelins all violent, Slowly, but surely, it all starts getting silent. Where were castles reaching the skies galore, Now lies torn armor of the horsemen's valor. Forests abundant once upon the dark times, All bloodied sand now under the imperial war chimes. In his heart he knew, he had lost, his men outwitted, But he is the Conqueror, many more battlefields to be pitted. On his mighty horse, his throne, down his crown he laid, As he muttered the hallowed words - 'gg well played.'

YO THAT FINAL GAME WAS CRAZY!!!!! EASILY THE BEST GAME SO FAR IN HIDDEN CUP 3

Great the principle of "path dependancy" is mentioned (not directly this term, but conceptual). By referring to certain moments in time in the beginning of the game where the game "derailed" for one of the players. Like "it started with the denied forward barracks" and from there it spiraled downward. Or "it started with the lamed boar".

I like how @1:39:56 a new meaning for the verb _castle_ was coined (of course here not the first time, but a meaning which is not yet in Oxford's dictionary)

When viewers vote on who the players are, it seems Daut is top 3 for every player.

I knew it was over for WtC when his bombard cannons killed literally all of his own units (including a ton of Hussars) [Starts at 2:32:40 ] which allowed Emperor's units in to kill said canons. This was easily the single biggest throw of the game, and arguably one of the biggest in the entire cup. Yet, the commentators COMPLETELY MISSED IT. This is why you mix Heavy Scorpions and Trebs as Khmer instead of making BCs. Still, what an incredible back-and-forth! WtC held on much longer than I thought he would after that catastrophe, and the lead up to it was just incredible. WHAT A GAME!

as i started watching and the first MBL confirmed was spoken, 1 minute later the fire alarm in the building started to go off, mind was decently entertained

I watched the first three days live on stream but was unable to watch the last day. Really sucks I have to wait for the results to be added one set one day at a time. Also means I can't watch the stream or other YT videos in order to avoid spoilers.

Total apm is probably in the mid 200's... now i remember that one SC2 match where a pro promised a streamer to spam as much useless apm as possible, he won the match with an average raw apm of over 600, which is insane... but that game is faster and way more micro intensive than AOE ever was

That Dave guy is probably the best cocaster T90 could ask for, they are like tasteless and artosis except they are still less mature and less funny but it will get better as the chemistry is there and it is the hardest thing to get.

Rewatching this today. MBL pretty much lost the last match because he killed like 100 of his own units with BBC after the opening of the middle gap. If he had just kept a shield and shot down the castle it'd be gg.
