T90: "He should make like 20 skirmishers, he's being really stubborn on that." Sheriff of Nottingham: *has 10 skirmishers and 10 more queued up* Sheriff of Nottingham: *uses the 20 skirmishers he's made* T90: "You should really get some hussars here man, skirmishers are a terrible idea."
T90 thank you for uploading that fast. I could only watch half of this series because of the time zone. This is the best so far! Lastly, Slam is a great cocaster, please invite him more!
I feel like for april fools you need to introduce a match to one of the pros with fatslob and all 8 maps will be black forest and all civs banned except vikings. Make sure they think its hidden cup so they won't figure it out.
T90, you are something else.... "The pants is just getting tighter and tighter for Sheriff, just like on Thanksgiving".... I was soo weak. LOL Sick, sick play from Katyan. Made me wanna take an extra year of practicing with AI before going online play.
So this is what everybody is talking about. Yea I definitely can see its either one of Hera/Viper/Lierieyy. But we'll see. Im looking forward to the next game of this hidden pro we see here
How about a movie quiz about Robin Hood prince of thieves? Since the sheriff played in this game. 1.Who played the sheriff in prince of thieves? 2. What tool did he threaten to carve out Robin Hood’s heart with? 3. Who played the foreigner who follow Robin home from the holy land? 4. Who played Will Scarlett? 5. Who directed the movie?
Rewatching this to admire the savage Mongol aggression in game 3. Before every fight it seemed like a pretty decent matchup for Sheriff, but then Kotyan pulled out all the stops to make every single fight play out so unfairly. Absolutely abusing every little advantage, exploiting the hiccups for melee pathing with the wild wall ins. Zoos everywhere.
@@dadumbazz , there were also some times where Khan lacked mini-map awareness. Viper can read the chat and still rarely miss anything. It doesn't seem like he would miss red blobs if he doesn't even have a chat to read.
Would trashbow paladin have been a better play in round 3? I feel like melee only won't do it versus a micro heavy mongols player, but I realise the lack of mobility and range could be a problem.
Hey t90 i have been watching your videos for 2 years straight now and i like the way you commentate and organize such massive events for aoe2. I just have a comment i would appreciate if you take it into consideration and apply it if you see fit. The capture age overlay is great and all but it really feels like too much crowd for me and others too, if you would just make the font of the names smaller so you can move the power bar system up a little bit that would be great. Because this overlay is too much which is killing the experience and amusement for me. Thanks in advance and good luck.
my only complaint :/ everything else is beautiful and perfect with so much effort put into it, capture age and the stats and the awesome co-casting, but for a $50k+ tournament where he picks the names you'd think they'd at least spend 30 seconds to learn how to pronounce them correctly. if it seems silly to care t90, idk what to say except you'd get more viewers
@@apparentlyplant9309 I think its optimistic to think that people are interested in accuracy. Plus most people dont know how to pronounce things not in their native language.
@@alexs7670 thanks for the compliment. the names are pronounced in the game for those who are interested in accuracy and don't know other languages, but is possible the hosts are too busy to have played the campaigns recently. it's a busy world after all especially with all the organizing and long streams they do bringing this tournament to everyone - so i understand. cheers
In game 2 sheriff should've used villagers to build walls when sieging down that castle. Even without stone building palisade walls/gates around the trebs would help protect them from hussars just diving in and killing them.
It's a bad idea because it costs tons of resources, mostly stone. If you do palisade it's meaningless (late game units melt trough palisade). It also takes forever to build a wall so big and means a lot of vills not working for a very long time. Better just build castles and some palisade to block running past the castles.
Tbh i am pretty sure this was a Hera vs Viper round 1 matchup where Hera was absolutely in Point. Viper Always bans aztecs and chooses mainly hybrid maps and no other player than, besides maybe alaric the goth fits this description.
Personally I think Kotyan Khan is Vivi, high skill, unconventional aggressive strategies and decent execution of those strategies. Also second game was insane from both players especially from Khan, shame he didn't invest there more into raids, whole game was him with crippled economy going against healthy one and still holding and keeping it 50/50, amazing stuff.
you should add filler video at the end of videos so we can't see who wins the last game in 1v2 win matches (by seeing video length). loving the cup this year :)
Dear T90, I would call myself a noob because I've played a lot of games but haven't won a quarter of them because I'm really not good. Today I played AoE II DE online. A Noob Game 3 vs. 3, but since one player from each team lost the connection, it was a 2 vs. 2. Anyway, my teammate was an even more blatant noob than me, and that's absolutely no reproach, that's what a noob game is for. Already with the first attack, he was finished. I raised an army, but had no chance against the two opponents ("Grillbe" and another one) who attacked me together with a huge army, even if I was able to ward off the first blow from the apparently less experienced opponent. Ultimately, shortly before my city was destroyed, the other, much stronger opponent "Grillbe", an alleged noob, wrote me very condescendingly something like: "dude, I deleted all my villagers after just 1 hour and you couldn't even make one single Strike against my army yet" I asked him if he didn't know what "noob" means, but got no answer, the game was over and he was obviously gone. What crappy behavior is that? What is this shit about? Why do you need something like that? In particular "as a noob"? And if you are so good that you don't need Villager for resources after just an hour, then I would say that you are definitely no longer a noob. I am absolutely not upset that I lost this game, but must such a stupid and senseless saying come from the winner? And what do you get from being an obvious pro sneaking into a noob game? It's just cheap, pathetic and poor. Such an A ** hole can spoil the fun of the game that I still had throughout the game, even if I ended up losing. Can't you denounce such A ** holes somewhere? As an experienced winner, is it so necessary to accuse the losing noob of losing? "Grillbe" is a piece of ****. (Sorry for my bad English)
@Ben Norton Seems that nobody is interessted in your opinion. Also, who made you the judge to decide if someone is welcomed in which community and who not? If you're really Grillbe, then learn how to win not only as a good player but also as a good winner. To me it was actually a fun game, I tried my best and even learned a little bit from. But still, my team mate, which really sucked at progressing was absolutely rightfully there in a noob game. You, on the other side, as one person who actually admitted to be that skilled that you could have deleted all your villagers after just one hour, was just a cheap imposter to sneak into a noob game. Fortunately I already experienced some games, where more skilled team mates and even opponents shared some tips during the game and even after the game they won. And this is what the AoEII community and good players makes them great (without you).
watch for an hour, not really paying attention, "wow this game *has* gone on for awhile, but soon Kotyon will run out of gold and collapse soon" *checks how much time is left in video*
So Aztecs are No.1 boar stealers, Mayans are 4th. I think it's safe to assume that Incans are in the top 3.....so what Civ snuck in there amongst the Meso Civs?
