Surely except for any what ever device is being used if you know you are being veiwed in ones room with the detection camera part if your scanning every area one would esily see a camera lens the size as the ones which are seen in covert items like a wall clock. Or are there bugs with lenses that are so tiny you really do need electronic help to detect them and if thats right would a re paint of bugged room possibly stop it?
Maybe some research into how these devices work would be good before making a video... The lens is to see the IR being sent out by an active low-light/night-mode camera. The red light is to help you see it in the dark. The whole GPS thing is just an assumption by the guy in the video. The GS probe is to detect microphones at closer range and was probably damaged by attaching a magnet to it. Phones and cameras need to be actively running/broadcasting to be detected by the main antenna.
So your telling me I wasted 10mins of my life and 49.00 of my money for a piece of crappy crap that doesn't work. It's basically a small portable metal detector 😊
A draw back to this device is when you don't know where the hidden device is. In your case youre bring putting the detector right next to the units youre testing. In a room where you don't know where a hidden camera is , this is more difficult, as you have to be about a foot or so close to a hidden device, and would take some time to check a whole room for a hidden device.
well unless you are using those super sensitive, super spatial aware ones like the military use it won't be long to know what is where as the device can make a 3d model in a computer of it's surrounding and point out what is where
Bugs/Hidden cams are always disguised in a device like a light switch, light socket, an electrical unit…you just have to look around and Think “If I was the guy bugging this room, where is the sweet spot?” And just cover the areas….also be conscious that this bug has to be supplied to power, examine the places in the room where the wiring boxes are and see if anyone tied into the Hot wire for power….and just yank that thing out of the wall lol
Most car aftermarket GPS devices work on the same network as cell phones. You can find gps devices with this, since they work off of cellphone towers. This device can adjust sensitivity, it was detecting Bluetooth because it was adjusted to bluetooth, all he had to do was adjust the knob. Bad review, I own one and use it a lot. Very useful.
I bought the T9000 and it rang like crazy on my car’s door frame. Also my car keys (that use batteries) make it ring like crazy when Press the lock and unlock buttons. I’m going crazy because there are several specific spots in my car that activate the RF alarm!
The one I have is to control the sensitivity like he said early in the videos when it beeps you turn it down and keep tracking the beep adjusting the sensitivity till you hit the point you are looking for.
The reason it didn't pick up the cellphone/gps is because it doesn't pickup microwaves, only radio waves such as bluetooth and wifi. The magnet detector is useful to find hidden microphones/speakers or magnetically-attached devices.
@@JM-wd3dk yah EMF is good but got lots of options which 1 of them that can detect GPS and Cellphone (standerd mag or standerd elec or weighted mag or weighted elec which 1 for GPS /cellphone
The pointof the "GS" detector with probe, is not for GPS but for picking up microphones. Like you correctly said, it picks up magentic devices. Microphones have magnets in them, and so the point of it is detect for bugs.
@@Mario-lv5bvClearly not. Because when the GS mode is on, the detector stops making any noise even if you turn the sensitivity on to max. The GS is to help detect hidden cameras. Not microphone
fridge magnets if lost can be found ... bloody amazing! 6:57 Q? Why are you assuming that GPS activity is magnetic? Measuring a magnet field doesn't tell you where you are. OK Here it is ... the device does not detect GPS signals!!!! It is designed to detect the magnet that holds a GPS bug to your car or whatever. Having said that I must say that I enjoyed your frank analysis of the device :-)
Hi Vlad. Couple quik questions.... #1. If you suspect your home/apt has been planted with bugs, how do you differentiate between the normal everyday device signals & those by bugs ? #2. Is there a MfG owner's manual available online ? It seems like one needs to completely empty one's place of all Bluetooth & E-devices in order to not get a false reading. Also cars these days still have some metal, so I can't understand how helpful the magnetic finder is
Is there a device that lets you detect any potentially usefull data that will help me trace the stalkers down and put them in jail for 10 years??? Please someone
Yes ..a camera. Use it to catch them doing a serious crime that would carry a 10 year sentence... Murder, armed robbery, distributing kilos of powder etc... And it would be beneficial to make sure it's not a hidden one, they throw that evidence out in some states and circumstances
Thank you for posting this quick video! The instruction manual is illegible due to blurry printing and poor translation. This video helped me better understand the basics of this device. Ignore the jerks without tact and keep posting!
Thank you. I now know how to use my device. Unfortunately, my husband is paranoid because of what his exs have done in the past and I've been paying the price for it. I'm done letting him take away my privacy.
@@CHANNEL4601 I didnt, I’m sure it is either well hidden or…not there at all. The person trying to spy on me is known for putting devices even on his own family.
Perhaps if you'd stop doing the splits all over town he wouldn't have to monitor you now would he. You're his wife, he has a right to know where you are every hour of everyday.
It is actually quite good at what it does and good for you the price too. I uave one and it does especially for finding hidden cameras, infrared, electromagnetic devices and hidden listening devices. I fell victim to hisden cameras and listening devices installed in my flat and rhis helped find them. It is particularly sensitive to electromagnetic waves.
So this will only find the hidden device if it touches it? And if you already know where the device is, plus be extra close to the hidden device...OooooKaaaaYYYY...
Yes, you got it. Therefore get your conclusions if it makes sense to buy one. For the camera detection I would like to have learned what the detection range is. If you have a bad neighbour the cam which spies on you could be 10 or more yards away. And the farer away it is the smaller the detection area (angle) would be. You would need a very steady hand and a lot of luck to find it.
Lol this is like watching a QVC presenters first and last day that gets eternalized thanks to someone recording VHS and uploading digital copy to RU-vid
GPS receiver receives sgnals "passively" in order to transmitting an RF frequency alone, after receiving the frequency signals the GPS passively applies an algebraic equation to determine device location; Distance = Distance = signal speed x signal time speed x signal time. Absolutely no frequency signals are ever emitted by the passive GPS receiver, therefore it can not detect RF signals to be detected
The "gps" finding is magnetic, eg, Gps attached with magnets, for example under a car for survelliance, so its not the Gps signal itself it detects, but the magnets holding it...actually pretty ridiciolus...
It pick a up on l’y qu’en Switching from 1 vidéo to thé other on RU-vid or what have you because once a video is selected and playing it has already downloaded but when switching video that is the moment that frequencies are transmitted afterwards video is no longer transmitted as it’s been downloaded and streaming through your mobile
The reviews on this one were not good so I bought a different one and I’m waiting for it to come in the mail. The feedback on the one I bought said the instructions were clear and concise and a red light turns green when fully charged unlike the others in this price range. .
Would this block a listening device? I need some help I got a weird ass neighbour came upto to me saying I listen to everything you say I'm like what the hell... is there anything I can block them from listening? Any ideas
Hi, I think the device only detected the magnet area not detecting the GPS that's why it didn't go on when you placed it next to the GPS. I saw another RU-vid channel and the guy used a similar detector as the one you are using. He said when it goes off it doesn't mean it has detected a GPS device. It went off because it detected a magnetic area.
I bought one of these they sent me my money back I didn't ask I thought it most be just fake, So I put it away until I watch this video you didn't really show much about the volume switch or its adjustment but either way I took mine back out the box and now it's working great so I understand the damn thing better 👍
How is this helpful in detecting, say, a hidden camera from a neighbor watching me? Literally have to walk around their property with device hence blowing my cover, blowing theirs😂
GPS is just a receiver for satelite signals. My guess is that this should pick up GPRS or 2G signal that GPS tracking devices use to send GPS data it recorded. Only GPS devices with SIM card.
2 at max. It is of no use if you are do not know what it can do for you and how to use it. But you probably know that by yourself now (7 months later).
@@peerpaulin8486 I managed to play around with it and kind of figure out how it works. I have to say, it is quite sensitive, so you have to know what you were doing.
Anyone know if this would pick up electrons? When I put this to my kids skin it goes full reading. This was with WiFi and all power and phones turned off.
GPS detector doesn’t work because it’s meant to detect magnets that are used to attach GPS trackers to cars like inside the wheel. I think your GPS is using a sticker or something so that is why.
how you going to find a spy devices if that thing detects every power source, i going to be teardown the tv ,laptop, fridge , you name it, i going to be so paranoid
How could anyone ever buy this device if the band is not specified???? I am an engineer. Spy devices, or anything you want to detect, emit radio waves. Not specifying what frequency this thing can detect, is utterly senseless.
not as fars as i no, i try k18, k68 and the one call KORKUAN RF , none detect any brand of tag i put my hand to, (that includ security, antiteff on my freind cars)
Meanwhile, it will not locate hidden microphones in your apartment or a motel room or anything vehicle nor will it find hidden cameras in the same place. We know we have Bluetooth bcz we purchase it so there's no need for it to tell us where the Bluetooth is bcz we know. No offense although the bottom line is it's not worth it out or to blow it up with on the basis of what I just said ... correct??? I'm also concerned with someone who uses the word paranoid which is a psychiatric condition and I seriously doubt that he is qualified for that. Meanwhile the word I would use would be concerned about someone listening to me or someone watching me whether it's in a dressing room or taking a bath and getting ready or sleeping and making love things of that nature. It can't help us. ✌️🚂🙏
Why would you play a video on your phone? That doesn't make sense at all. It wouldn't help with anything. If you are going to do something you better activate your phone camera.
The GPS on your car is received. Only the damn thing can't pick up something receiving, nothing can. The GPS it's talking about detecting. Is the kind song with stick to your car? That also sends a signal somewhere. Use your brain man. It's like reviewing a toothbrush and putting it on the back of your head and saying oh, it's not cleaning my teeth.
A detector can't detect something receiving a signal for instance, playing a video on your phone. It would have to detect your phone sending a signal. If you were not very smart, you should not be doing a review on a product. You know nothing about. I mean, it looks like a scam product in me. Anyway, but you're not testing it in a way that makes sense. Think of the radio wave detector like a microphone and if you put it next year, it can't detect that you are actively hearing but it could detect if you put it next to someone's mouth and they're actively speaking.
