We used to go there almost every trip to Magic Kingdom. We ate upstairs all the time if we didn't get food to go and eat curbside while waiting for a parade.
This is the first restaurant I ever ate at in Magic Kingdom. My husband and I ate upstairs and enjoyed it. The salad I got doesn’t seem to be on the menu anymore, but it was delicious.
My family and I can always agree that this is one of our favorite places. It’s certainly nothing outstanding, but whenever we think of our favorite places to eat in Disney World, we always circle back to the Columbia Harbour House.
Yes! I just mentioned in another comment that this was the first restaurant in MK I ever ate and it just happened to be upstairs right before a MNSSHP. So fun!
I actually ate up in the upstairs area last time I was at Disney. It was hot and we had a while til our next fast pass ride. It was pretty good! Liked the view too. Although it was freezing in the upstairs room.
The reason we never go upstairs is that you have to carry your drink, your plate & anything you were carrying around the park……all while you’re balancing it all on a tray while ascending the stairs.
Everybody talks about this secret hidden gem, and nobody hardly goes up here, upstairs that is, HA! It's not a secret. Stop saying it is a secret. And the same wording in almost every blog and post about it for YEARS. It's not a secret and I've only been able to sit upstairs twice... it's busy. And yes the food is pretty good. Love the lobster rolls. Years ago the didn't have the lettuce. Thanks for the post though. 📫
