Oh this is fantastic i went to Graceland in 2000 when i was 6 months pregnant we booked the trip before i was pregnant so im so glad i was able to go....im from the uk and have been an Elvis fan all my life ...but you forget detail's so this is triggering good memories thank you so much this has made my day 😊
Thank you so much for sharing! My husband and I just got back a couple of weeks ago and it looked beautiful, as it was decorated for Christmas!! I had never heard about Michael Jackson carving in the tree but found it so interesting! Much thanks again!!
Great video Ashley, love the detail you always bring us and I am able to walk myself through the mansion, having been there a few times and see in my head what you are showing us. I must pull out my photos of Graceland, who knows maybe there is a gem in there or a question you might be able to shed light upon. Love the Michael Jackson / Lisa tree carving, I will have to check that out if I ever get to return. Thanks and take care.
My favorite part? Okay, not gonna lie, I love that you take the time to explain the lay out of the rooms you are focusing segments of your videos on. I've never been to Graceland and so I just really appreciate that you take the time to do that 😊💖 GREAT DETECTIVE WORK ASHLEY 👀👓👢💼🔍🔦👏👏👏👏 And oh my gosh I was so excited for this one because it just so happens today is my birthday so this is a very nice birthday surprise 🎬🎂🎬 THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO ASHLEY! MUCHLY APPRECIATED 💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹 TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕
I’ve been to Graceland many times and still think it’s a bit of a maze. So many things still being discovered! And WHAT?! The carving on the tree???? How did I just walk by it and not know? As always, a great video. Thanks Ashley 💕
Ashley, great video!! I mentioned to you years ago about the MJ craved into the tree by the pool during one of your Elvis Trivia, and you said it must have been carved by one of Elvis's friends during Elvis's lifetime...so I am happy to hear it was actually during Lisa Marie's and MJ's lifetime.....it is totally visible near the pool!!
@@ashleysadventures Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Really it is great to know MJ left carved his initials with LMP in the tree by the pool....I wonder if Lisa Marie or Priscilla even knew. But yes it's overgrown in the tree inside a heart... MJ+LM inside a heart...how romantic and nice...and it's many years ago. I'm glad you mentioned that and it's many people's favorite part of your video...the King of Pop. I wish RU-vid would put people's names on like it used to...Wayne Potter....and I miss your Elvis Trivia Ashley!!
@@ashleysadventures Have you personally seen the carving in the tree by the pool?? It is pretty cool. I saw it in on the early morning walk up at 7:30 am in 2017 and took pictures of it. It is cool Michael Jackson was in the same spot. Way to go Ashley! Great video!
@@WaynePotter-q2m Lisa Marie DEFINITELY knew, it is a romantic gesture a man usually does for a woman, so of course!! Lisa said MJ was very romantic! I LOVE that so much!
I’m at the Guesthouse and visited Graceland today. My wife got a good picture of the tree with Michael and Lisa’s initials. I also took a few interesting pictures that I would love to share with you. One was a picture of the yellow corner painting in the staircase going into the basement. Another one is a mockup of an octagon building in the archive display. And finally, the tablecloth that Col Parker wrote out Elvis’s contract out in Vegas. I will gladly email these to you and you’re free to use them as you wish. I’m very intrigued by the first two because I have no idea.
Amazing job as always! I’m actually taking my 4 yo grandson to Graceland in an RV all the way from Jacksonville Fl. We’re staying at the Guesthouse but the RV should make a fun trip. Thanks so much for your videos! God bless.
Great video and info, Ashley. I love the story of the tree where MJ carved their initials. Happy holidays. We can say that now since they did the house lighting at Graceland tonight. 😁 ~Gloria
Hi Ashley, nice to see you weave your extensive Graceland knowledge to Elvis fans. Congrats on your growing channel. I have retained much of my Elvis trivia knowledge thanks to you. Hope you continue to grow and share your passion. Best to You! Joan P.
I'm do grateful for the explanation of the layout of the house ! I was there in 1997 and while I can remember all the rooms I just couldn't remember how to get to the jungle room and downstairs, all I could remember was going to the kitchen. So this is awesome, thank you do much 👍🏻🙌🏻👏🏻🕺🏻
@@ashleysadventures I'm sure I will. I've watched most of your videos. I can't wait for the new one. I have a few hundred pics of all parts of Graceland and even had a fan who visited Graceland to do special pics for me.
wow Ashley you have done it again - really thought there couldn't be much more about Graceland that you could share with us but you always manage it - so love your videos 💕💗💕
Wow, so much information in this video Ashley! I always love seeing what Graceland looked like when Elvis lived there. I also love that you find out things that we didn't always know, like the basement windows and where they came out to. I saw those metal things, but had no clue what the heck they were. I also love seeing how things changed as Elvis added on and changed things. You help to understand how things changed. I sure wish I had know about the MJ carving in the tree in 2019, I'd have gotten a photo of that! LOL As always, you rocked this video Ashley and I come away understand more and more about the house and Elvis. Thank you for that!!!
Michael Jackson’s initials ! What a surprise. How many times have we walked by that tree with no clue??? You are the Sherlock Holmes of Graceland secrets.
After my visit to Graceland, 11/2019, something always made a nagging question left in my mind. It was about the material that covers the entire pool room downstairs. I always thought that the fabric was somehow attached, which would make for a very dusty room! I had no idea that the fabric was not attached. So my favorite and total surprise of the video, is of Angie holding that fabric back, revealing the wall behind!! I had never heard or seen of the fact that the fabric was movable!! This video had so many surprises and information I was very impressed! Thank you Ashley! Happy Thanksgiving!🦃. -Donna, from Illinois
Incredible Graceland video!!! I am completely blown away by your reveal of the fabric on the walls of the pool room being more like a curtain than wallpaper. I had no idea it could be pulled back to see the wall. I am flabbergasted by your reveal of the windows in the pool room. I am stunned by your reveal of all the other basement windows and the fact they are all means of egress. Someone really designed the basement well in case of emergency. I am curious about the floor plans for the basement where they show the Bodyguard's room and what appears to be a closet inside it. Was the closet also used as sleeping quarters at one point? Is the closet where Jerry originally bunked or did he have the whole room? As always, I appreciate your efforts to bring this information to fans, it is important Elvis history!!!
Thank you Manly! Glad you enjoyed this one. I think the closet is just a closet. In a Gates of Graceland episode, they went into that room and the main bedroom area is the one outlined on the blueprint. The room is already in a room with no windows, I'm giggling at Jerry sleeping in the closet. I appreciate your support!
Love the bit about the MJ tree. Actually heard about it this year, from someone who told me of the “insiders” group. I had stood by that tree but never realized there was an important story there! I feel MJ was very intrigued about Elvis.
My dream is to visit Graceland and to me all those amazing rooms in elviss beautiful home Graceland look so amazing I respect elvis and his family and friends too I always live elvis tcb ⚡️🕺10:20am
Спасибо Эшли ,так увлекательно рассказываете.Мне очень медальон Элвиса понравился.Красивый.А в бильярдной драпировки столько сделали ,интересно, как они в то время с ткани пыль и въевшийся запах сигарет удаляли.?
I'm confused. How were there windows down in the basement below ground level? And how did it not leak in down there when it rained? BTW, great work as always. 👍👍
I think they call it a window well in the south. You can Google it. Pretty much just to let in light and they do start leaking eventually and get filled in with dirt.
I had to Google a lot about these because they’re new to me, too. Search “egress windows” to see an example. There’s a gap between the window and crawl space up. Thank you Mike!
I loved it! Here's my review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9FEZ_y_G6bE.html I've also created 4 full length Secret Graceland videos based on the film, here's one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AeAeTDJMWYY.html
It was a romantic gesture you fool, not desecration. You should keep your nasty negative BS to yourself. Most of the World loved him, including me! The love of Lisa Marie Presley's life! They were together for about 10 years including their marriage. He was one o the most kind, loving, and generous people on the face of the earth. He wrote a LOT of songs for Lisa Marie.(and she did the same for him!)
