HIDDEN GEMS & the Ghost Town in Luderitz [ & fixing the leaking FORK!] S2EP16

We are visiting the AMAZING ghost town KOLMANSKOP in Namibia after we need to wait for the new fork seals to arrive for our motorbike. And locals show us some true HIDDEN GEMS around Luderitz. So much history! Old whaling station, gem stones, hidden 200 year old horse Paddocks and so much more! Of course Werner also tries to fix his leaking forks of the KTM 890 Adventure himself after watching some RU-vid videos ... what can go wrong right?

Luderitz certainly is a very special place. We spent a good few days there. However, it's really in the back end of nowhere 😂

My Dad grew up in Kolmanskop. He used to take that train to Luderits to go to school weekly think he was around 11. Not sure but my gran could have been one of the nurses.

@@thetravelingtortoises Unfortunately he never had opportunity to go back, I used to fly to Luderits from time to time and he would talk about it a bit. He was born in 1939 and was about 11 so was just after the war. Think he said my grandfather had a petrol station of some sorts. I must actually ask him some more about his time there.
