Hey everybody and welcome to our channel! We are a husband (Werner) & wife (Cissy) traveling the world on our two KTM's. Cissy is riding a KTM 390 Adventure named (Mouse) and Werner is riding a KTM 890 Adventure R named (Buddy). After selling all our belongings and hitting the road we now travel and live full time on the road. We travel slow and take our time to explore the world. Come join us on our journey.

Robots. It's been 40 years since I've heard them called robots - here is Australia they're called 'lights', far less imaginative. And calling them robots shows just how far automation has come since the 80's with 'robots' of today being something else altogether. Thanks for your posting - love the banter, the views and quality camera work.
Thanks for posting another great video. Interesting country even if it appears barren in parts and having travellers like you bringing the beauty to us is a privilege. Thanks again
Why not, what a lekker trip for you guys. I'm sooo jealous and frustrated sitting at my desk in an office filled with 'UN' likeminded' people. When the going gets 'roff', think of us plebs here. I will trade anyday. Enjoy the ride, the space and the glorious scenic views. No rush, be safe 👍👍👍
Thank you so much! We are well aware that we so lucky to be able to do this, we keep reminding ourselves. Sometimes it becomes our new normal because this is what we do everyday and you don’t really realise that this is special. So we need to keep reminding ourselves and we have people like you reminding us about it too 😊 we have been where you are now, behind a desk with people that have no interest in doing something.
Hi to the both of you 👋 great filming of your amazing adventure, I’m in the raining UK whilst you are in the hot sun shine, any chance of showing a bit more of your accommodation that you stay in so we get some idea of what we will be getting please 👌🏻🍺🍺😎
Thank you! We try to film our camping sites more, but our indoor rooms are normally not that interesting.. we sleep at the cheapest ones available and therefore it’s not much to show. But I understand it might be interesting to others! Will keep it in mind thank you 😊
Hey guys excellent video again, something special in your camera work. Enjoying these nothings. Oohhh and I see the subscribers is growing....mmmmm well done.
Love you Channel! I am Buying the 390 . What tyres are you using . Is that a 60 off road and 40 Street? 50/50? Seems to hold up great with your off road and some tar roads as well.🤗
Thank you! I love the 390 still, even after 30 000 km! I had the anakee wilds on for 20 000 Km and they held up very well (all 20 000 was with the same front tire..) just recently I switched to the mitas endurotrail xt + and I have to say they are absolutely amazing. But on the tar they only become nice after about 2000km
Werner, you are a good man. The way you dealt with that vagrant at the fuel station, the way you make space for Cissy on the road, the way you support her as a rider... your mother must be proud. And to Cissy, I am very impressed with your development as a rider and with how quickly you learned to ride. I look forward to watching all your videos.
Hi guys, first time watching your channel, and I'm loving your footage. Thank you for sharing! You have a great chemistry the two of you. If you improve the audio quality your videos would be even better. Enjoy!
Welcome! And thank you so much 😊 we have put a lot of work in the audio and improved overtime. Hopefully you will see that in the more recent videos. If the sound is still up for improvement in season 2 please let us know, then we can have look at it👍🏻
There is two roads you can take from Windhoek to Swakop. Gravel road via Khomas Hochland pass that is a gravel road and the main B2 that is asphalt. Just because you travel or chose to take gravel roads does not say all roads are gravel. The last part of the road are salt roads.
Yes we realised that there is an asfalt road later on after this was shot 😅 our mistake. Definitely not saying that if we do a gravel road that’s the only way, just an honest mistake
There is a tar road from Windhoek to Swakop and Walvis, I have driven it many times. The Spergebied is there to protect the rights of the diamond mines, not really to conserve nature but it is a great "side effect". The last bit of the gravel road before Walvis that was so nice is a salt road like many in the area. I love that part of the world, thanks for showing it to me again.
We realised afterwards there is a tar road🙈would have been a bit strange if there wasn’t but we were not thinking clearly. Thank you for your comment, it’s a beautiful part of the world
I was really happy to see that you, as a couple, are still going strong. I think after that stretch of 250km of semi desert sand you will be able to enjoy the rest of you yourney together. Nice job.
Hopefully when the oil money starts to flow, the Namibian government will tar this road. Its one of the most travelled stretches in Namibia, and a grader once a month just doesn't cut it. Safe travels guys.
The Tropic of Cancer lies at 23.5 degrees north of the equator, while the Tropic of Capricorn is at 23.5 degrees south. These latitudes define the boundaries of the tropics. They are also important for distributing sunlight across the planet
You guys stopped under the same tree, I stopped under in October. The road between Swakop and Solitaire was shocking, to say the least. We managed to do Swakop, Solitaire, down to Rietoog in a day, but it was hectic. Thanks for the stunning visuals. The Deadvlei is my favourite place on the planet... thanks guys, Safetravels
Thank you! You realise how important those trees are! I think many people use the few trees next to the road. The road to walvis/Swartkopmund is still horrible, the corrugation is an absolute nightmare 😳
