Considering i saw this live, ill just comment generally that this was yet another great showcase of why dayz continues to be a hidden gem in gaming today. Best state its ever been in, and so many unique opportunities for players to jump in and explore. I appreciate your hard work as both a streamer and youtuber.
i know Im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
Great work on the editing Paul, you're really upping your game and it's not unnoticed nor unappreciated. Cut all the times you walked in the fire though
We were getting shot at when you guys saw him! So glad you killed him. He was an ass! He was actually shooting at me and a friend trying to head to the outpost. So crazy we were kinda in your video lol. I hope to meet you in game someday.
Haven’t finished watching the video but I just wanted to say something before I forget. I was like “oh, here’s part 2, I should go bak and refresh my memory of what part 1 was about again” then thought “nah im sure I’ll remember” then BOOM you start off with this amazing recap. I was like “yup I remember that, and that, and that.” Great FKN job dude. 👌
Hello Paul, As amazing as usual ! This Namalsk map seems really SOC inspired, cold and creepy, look's very cool. Merry christmas and cheers from France, Neuro.
Back in 2012 I was playing the Namalsk mod where this modded map came from, made by the same guy Sumrak, and a lot of assets came from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Even all those sound effects for the Emissions. It's amazing that we can still play this master piece and experience an even better version of the map. Although I do have to admit that I miss the bloodsuckers... Would have been nice if another kind of creature was created for this map since the portal was not closed by the nuked launched at Athena-1 by the sub. (The lore found in the various documents on the Namalsk Crisis and the captain's log from the sub.)
It's ok, it will will never feel the same as the A2 mod PVP was also better on A2 dayz and A3 Exile had better PVP and character movement Literally about the only thing dayz has going for it over the Arma exile/dayz mods is all the little dayz features of crafting and combining, and needing to repair stuff Yet Arma 3 exile died because either people only played cherno, or people preferred to play one giant broken glitch bug called dayz standalone, when Arma 3 exile had sweet pvp, sweet base building Dayz standalone adds broken watchtower poop while we shoot weapons with no sound and people are eating it up, asking when the next glitch is going to be released :D
@@ItsFrenzy26 Isn't always great that nowadays, whenever someone praises something, there's always one guy like yourself, one guy here just to remind us all that everything is shite haha. He said the athmosphere is great, was there a need to go on and lecture about post Arma days?
So good Paul, I so enjoy watching it a second time. You have a true knack for drawing the viewer in, even though I see a most of it as it happens I can't help but be drawn in again and that is a credit to you.
I just reinstalled DayZ on my PC after a very long time and stumbled upon the Namalsk Mod. While doing some research, regarding the Mod, I also stumbled upon your channel. What a lucky coincidence! Love the content! Especially those hours long videos :)
That ending.. -shat my pantalons!.. Sad way to go but we had a fantastic journey. Just love your vids and the way you play the game sometimes interacting with ppl but not affraid to use lethal force if needed to. Really well edited and presented, you my good sir, are amazing! Happy new years and stay safe bud!
same here.. this made me really question if there are some people who literally had a heart attack playing dayz xD wouldt want to imagine what would happen to me if i get shot like this haha
Another great EPISODE! I love the content man, I've watched every single video at least 2/3 times over the years! Is there alot of dayz streamers and RU-vidrs???? Yes but is there anyone as good as the running man? NO definitely not. Keep up the amazing work👍🏻
Hey Paul! Amazing video as always. I love that you also include a lot of the looting. This makes the pvp situations a lot less predictable and exciting when viewing your videos. I would really love if you didn't cut the endings that short though. For me, those few seconds after being killed are loaded with such a wide range of emotion, they are like the resolving of a musical piece. It might just be a personal preference but I wanted to mention it anyways. Also love the character recaps you do sometimes, these can really make a grown man cry, especially if you've made good friends along the way
Brilliant video, as always, Paul. I streamed parts I & II live on twitch...but I stepped away minutes before you got surprised by the geared dude at the end! I remember seeing it clipped in the chat and asking what I missed!!! Keep up the great brother.
I know these jump cuts may take more time than I know, but I absolutely enjoy them. Seeing where you travel through makes the jump a hell of a lot less jarring, but still get to see the journey even though uneventful. Another way of achieving this, although I don't know if it will be more work or not, would be to go with FrankieonPC style and use a topographical map or even a satallite map and draw your path with lines or dots. Either way, I enjoy these jump cuts immensely.
DayZ looks like a great game, and the commentary and game play is excellent, but it's the editing and production value that make these videos next level. You've turned this into a feature film!
The tried and true 'map and dot' method has always been great for showing long travel, but I think this 'fly-by' really helps a viewer understand the terrain and the potential of what happened at each location. 'Next, I looted this spot on my journey' gives so much more information to the viewer when the 'fly-by' cam stops, does a sweep to show all the buildings in an area and then keeps flying, as opposed to 'map and dot' where if a viewer doesn't know the area they just have to guess what it looked like. If we only had a 'map and dot' picture in picture as we flew... :D -uf
When I was young I used to watch FrankieonPCin1080p religiously. I was so into his videos I convinced my parents to get a “work laptop” that could just barley run Arma 2 and the old Dayz mod. I just recently found your channel 3 months ago or so and have been playing the standalone on Xbox (yeah yeah i know) along with watching your videos. I’m finally going to build myself a proper gaming PC in the next couple months and play Dayz on my computer and I couldn’t be more excited. You and FrankieOnPc have inspired me to make RU-vid videos to capture my most exciting Dayz lives. I can’t wait to get started! You’re an inspiration Paul!
I just started watching your videos and I love your content, you are a great gamer and streamer I subbed and put all notifications on, keep up the great work man, I wish I could still play Dayz I had to sell my computer and Xbox so I can buy gifts for my family for the holidays, I miss playing games and your videos really make me wanna play games and start streaming and make videos
Deam I found your 1st episode and watched it all I love it, subscribed to get notification to 2nd episode. Šo happy you released it so soon. The ending scared me ;(
From the cliff hanger last episode Paul to this! Had been waiting patiently for it and you did NOT disappoint my friend!!! That ending though seems a bit anti climatic to die like that, I know you couldn't help it matey but after all your hard work I would be PISSED to say the least bud! I guess thats just DayZ for you though, as quickly as you get geared up it can all be lost with just a few bullets in your direction! :( Keep up the great work Paul, your a LEGEND :D
The guy has made some really cool additions to an old map creating the sea ice to expand the play area was clever but where are the bloodsuckers, lol. Have enjoyed the vids they take me back to the Frankie days some nice editing and plenty of dramatic moments well done.
Getting killed by a player you knew was around is the perfect ending........to a long trail of numerous dead/looted bodies, interesting locations and casual friendly interactions. You even include real world bodily functions. Are you making a poetic statement about life? :-)
Getting lost on the ice is one of the scariest thing in dayz. I once went from the submarine all the way to tara harbor because I couldnt see anything from a snowstorm :D. And my character got Frostbite and only could heal up to 50%hp.
Parts of the map remind me a lot of Ice Station Zebra (1968), which was about a nuclear submarine on a secret mission to the North Pole. Really a great movie if you like action/adventure submarine war movies
when you killed that guy from the watch tower at the begining, "AH HA, F**K A YOU", thought you was going to finish off with saying "IT'S ME MARIO" lol
Although I think that Running Man is at times a cowardly nastly bastard, I like his content and he’s obviously a born survivor who produces great content and occasionally does nice things for other players. Subbed.
