So I wore the wig out that day and as I was getting off the train a little girl yelled “rainbow!” then waved at me and it was so adorable 😭 P.S. Don't forget to tell me if you'd like to see me revamp this wig in a future video! Should I cut it short, to hide the rainbow? Should I try to make the part look better/more realistic? Do you have any ideas of your own that I should do? Let me know! 💕
I saw a drag queen using concealer on the lace to make it more realistic, maybe it could help for the part? Anyway, I loved the result as it is, you did such a good job 😍
Linzor this is random but I watch both you and kerosene's videos, I'm also a guy but love the makeup videos you two create. Oddly enough I play your videos while I cook supper for my little sister and I everyday lol (ninja edit so I don't sound like albert fish) ahahhahahahh
@@thatvampigoddess6582 ah ha thanks for pointing that out for me. Had to do a quick 'ninja edit' so as to avoid sounding like a cannibal on youtube aha geez feel like Tobias Fünke lol
personally artic fox is my fave hair dye brand as it not only smells amazing, it's really kind to my hair, lasts a really long time and also doesn't bleed and stain everything
If you want to do that (I'm going to try too I have bleached my hair so I know upkeep) bleach ruins your hair, I would suggest dying the layer on top your hair color, due to growth, and the rainbow will fade.
Not to be a Debbie downer here, but for over 300$ you'd think the tracks wouldn't be visible in the back. I have a wig that costs a fifth of that price and you can't see tracks anywhere no matter how I style it. Great dye job though, definitely test out dying the different sections separately next time, it does help with the bleeding a lot. I also usually wash and dry the sections seperately, it's tedious, but worth it
She did a beautiful job, but I was hoping others saw the tracks because I'm not skilled myself in wigs, so I was looking to see how she was able to hide them. I think it was just too light of a color at the roots but for her first time it was really freaking cool
Vp fashion has horrible extensions too. I don't get the hype. My fist set had so much shed, and not a normal amount either. I complained to them, and they said it was normal.... I know what normal is. After the first wash, they were so frizzy and unhealthy looking! Even after straightening them they were just pin straight with no life....again, I just don't get the hype with them.
I'm glad I said something lol, I was honestly hesitant because I didn't want anyone thinking I was bashing her.. just the horribly overpriced wig and company 😂. I have wigs from Lush, W.I.F, & Webster... they're all leaps better than the one she's showing, and all less than half the cost too haha. For people who don't know what a good quality wig should look like, especially when styled, you should almost never be able to see tracks, no matter the hair color, unless you're like putting your face 2 inches away from that person's head lol. I have a silvery white wig, you still can't see the tracks on that thing and I almost exclusively wear that one in pigtails. I know that this video is for vp specifically, and that's not why I'm here.. She did a great dye job on an otherwise terrible product haha
Personally, I love the look of the wig without it being a 100% hidden rainbow. There's something about it that just looks right as is. And the blue tinted "roots" adds something to it I think. But that's just me.
Volaire a compliment that continues to hurt an entire group of people is not a compliment. It’s like saying ‘you’re pretty for a black girl’ implying black girls are not pretty due to their skin color. It’s not a compliment.
I love how you aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. I know next to nothing about hair (or wigs) and I watch your videos purely bc they’re interesting, but it’s cool that you tried this for the first time, filmed it, and realized what you needed to do differently next time. You’re very, very beautiful and I hope you keep making videos.
platinum blond hair wig = human virgin Indian hair...now I don't know much about wigs, but platinum blond is not how I picture virgin Indian hair that is from a human.
gee7 virgin hair means that it hasn’t been colored, bleached, heavily washed or heath styled before. Obviously, when they make a wig they process it and dye it
Man some how you can try styles that confused me, and make me not care about trying to understand it, but just enjoying the look and the fact that they enjoy it too. Also, at the beginning I was like "How did shE CHANGED HER HAIR THE BANGS ARE GONE" for a second I seriously thought your hair magically changed. Then I read the title lol.
Maybe instead of cutting off all the hard beautiful work you've put into the wig you could add some 12" black extensions to disguise the rainbow more? As always you're incredible, truly the female equivalent of Guy Tang💕
I think that although it wasn't a hidden rainbow, it turned out great. I really loved when you braided it and put your bangs back, I thought both you and your hard work looked espcially beautiful there.
This is sooooo COOL! If ever I'll dye my hair, I'd dye it like that too! 😌 I was thinking what color will suit my skin color, but I think, this kind of dye suits anyone.
Awesome!!! Yes, cut it. I think it would look extra awesome if it would be slightly shorter on the back. P.S. welcome to the Netherlands! Are you going to learn Dutch? It is freaking difficult but I managed in one year so if you are planning to stay bit longer, go for it xxx
Reauneth her Patreon says she's in the Netherlands, besides on the previous video she said she went to CastleFest and I googled it to go some day and it was in the same country.
Wow this came out amazing. Personally i wouldn't cut it short as I really like the length but the layers could be blended better maybe. But its your wig, do what you want❤💛💚💙💜
You look so cute whit those cat ears im dying of cuteness (i hope this works as a pun?!) Did you ever thought about making a podcast or something? Your voice is just so calm and relaxing. Cheers
You looked so pretty with it in the clip and in the french braid. I think it looks nice the way it is besides the weird scalp coloring, you did great, love you!!
I am legit in love with this wig. Well I'm inspired by all your hair choices. You just rock whatever you want and that's amazing to me. You do you girl.
This video is so high quality and well made! I can tell you put in the work and so much effort and editing skills into this and us viewers appreciate it greatly!
Bleach the knots or the lace under the wig, just be careful and use a light layer to prevent the black roots turning colors. Like very light and make sure the consistence is pretty thick, very runny bleach applications can be messy and harder to fix.
Not everyone can wear wigs. They're hot, itchy, and can be tight or loose and fall off. If you suffer from migraines, wigs are generally not for you. And why shouldn't people be allowed to dye their own hair? It's been happening for millennia.
Why though? Do you really know how this wigs where made? Where the hair came from and how they got it? Hairs grows out. If you have hair then why not dying it? If you did something stupid then cut it? It's not like your hair will grow back damaged? Hair is already dead. And wearing others hair is really weird to me.
I can imagine how hard this was to do iv done my hair two or three colours/ shades before and it was a very messy process. Well done to you because you done a ace job
If you ever want to dye the entire head of a human hair wig, you can always boil it, sounds crazy but it works! You can always check out ScreamKiwi's video about it. It takes a lot less time than dying it section by section. I love this btw!
OMG the braiding at the end was to die for!!!! Love the music too but I don’t like the style split in half cause you can tell it’s a wig not your fault it’s just the wig.... I love the rainbow 🌈 and I might do this to my hair thanks for the inspiration 💗!
lmfao SAME but think about it,it gets professionally washed and every single strand is cleaned and and placed on individually,so I guess it might not be as bad as we thought
Jesamania Remy means the hair is all going in right direction. So no upside down hairs if that makes sense lol. I think you got it confused with virgin hair which means never chemically processed.
no it's a SUPER shady business. a lot of cheating and theres no real laws set it place to govern this business even though it's a really big one. even if it says indian remy, it could be collected from the floors of salons, collected from trash etc. there's a documentary about it here on youtube called "The Truth About Where Hair Extensions Come From" made by the channel refinery29.
