Lol I love it cuz I am the same. I have a cracked mirror too. And I do my own hair always have and I it's so complicated to do these shaves especially with crazy mirrors I can't imagine recording it.
funny how 4 years ago I suddenly decided to give myself a side shave at the middle of that shaving video, paused the video, went to bathroom, did it, then came back and kept watching it like nothing happened :D
I think I initially watched your "Another Deathhawk" video, because I was curious what the hell a deathhawk is. I ended up subscribing because your personality is so mellow, sweet, and authentic. Also, you're a badass.
fun fact: you were the person who inspired me to get a mohawk. once i saw your death hawk video i started thinking of cutting my hair short, and then once i did, i finally got the courage to do my own hair at home and get a mohawk.
Me toooo and later bleaching and dying my hair blue, get synthetic dreads and eventually real dreads. Now my hair is “normal” but i still trim the ends myself :)
Yesss, same, I bleached my hair to death and was thinking of just getting a buzzcut to start over fresh and healthy, but now its a pixie mohawk, but I'll let it grow to a deathhawk ^^ Now, a year later it has reached shoulder length :D
CONGRATS ON 1 MILLION!! I've been here for maybe two years, and you have insired me to have a hair style similar to you. Your one of my favorite youtubers
Whoa...This was super nostalgic to watch! It’s so funny how certain things that have nothing to do with you personally but can trigger memories or feelings. I’ve commented before on how like on you and are very different (as far as style) but I literally think you’re super dope because you’re unapologetically yourself. Congratulations, cyber friend. You deserve it!
I remember finding that video (and your channel) in 2015 when my pixie cut was growing out and I was looking for ways of styling it (you had a wonderful video on that too) and flashforward to 4 years later and I do my hair myself and I shave my head and I dye my hair blue and that's all thanks to you 💙 you talk in this video of how your viewers have impacted your life and I just want you to know that you've impacted a lot of lives too (or at least mine). Have a great week and keep up the good work :)
Girl! I have a pair of craft scissors that I have had since I was 4 years old. I used to cut my whole head with those things. TBH they worked wonders till I became a professional. Lol
I watch these videos to keep from binge eating self harming they help me out of panic attacks and manic bipolar and depressive episodes I feel so safe here and loved and watching you do something you love calms me
“It’s nice to see my content hasn’t really evolved over time” ( 15:53 ) that was really funny to me because something I really love about your videos is the style and I love how consistent it is because like no matter what the video is my favorite thing is there and the hairstyles get better and better. Congrats on one million! That’s epic :)
I love the fact that she is so down to earth, honest and zero bullshit ❤️......I have been following you for the past 7 years and I absolutely love you ❤️❤️
I love this channel so much because of the community that's been built up, I honestly feel like this is such a chill corner of the internet, I never see any drama in any comments section and I love it. Here's to a million more because you totally deserve it.
you were in my recommended about a year ago and i liked what i saw so i subbed. i then eventually did my own death hawk. i grew it out and did it again for this summer because i love it. i have really curly hair but its my fav style. congrats on a mil
The death hawk video was recommended to me like a year ago. I watched and 4 hours later... lol I was down a rabbit hole of your dreadlock videos! Love it so much! Congratulations!
I shaved the sides of my head after watching numerous videos on it and found yours. Now to find this one of your rewatching it is awesome. Life comes full circle. Thank you.
I watch, "giving myself another deathalck" A lot. It poped into my recommended and I watched it. It was so good, you seemed so free and I felt so trapped at that time, watching that video made me feel less trapped. I still watch it when I feel down. It's great. Love your stuff.
The video of the second time you cut your deathhawk was actually what finally motivated me to get my side shave done, had it for 3 years now and I still love it as much as I did when I first had it cut
You truly deserve it. I love your videos and I always end up watching your videos. They are honestly great and I love watching your videos. Congratulations! You deserve way more than a million. Love Dana
Okay one, congratulations you deserve every single digit in that 1mil, but two can we appreciate the glo up, of just everything. Her, the lighting, the music, her. Just, appreciate man
I’m so glad we did it couse you’re not the type of RU-vidr that gossips or causes drama to gain subs you did it posting what you like, just chill videos, I love it Keep this channel as real as it was till now ❤️
I saw the first video four years ago, and you inspired me to give myself a deathhawk, and it's been the best decision in my life in terms of hairstyle. I've always dyed my hair, since I was...15, I think? But I never tought of cutting them in weird ways until then. Now it's more than a year that I consistently keep my asymmetrical deathhawk, natural color for the shaved sides and deep blue for the hawk. Thank you.
Deathhawk video was definitely what got me to sub a few years ago. After I saw it I said fuck it and got it done myself too. I've had the exact same hair cut since then. It is just so versatile. Plus it helps cover up the bald spots that have recently started to pop up on the side of my head. I'm female and only in my 20s but I have an autoimmune disorder that has caused it to happen. The best part is my husband LOVES my hair so much. He thinks it's the coolest. In the end I thank you for the video and giving me the confidence to do as you did. I've been so happy with my hair ever since.
One of my favorite things about your channel is how humble you really are. I love that you are a real person. And I love how you don’t put a lot of focus on makeup or normal clothes. I love your channel and hopefully I’ll have a stable job and can become a Patron. Also side note we all use craft scissors to cut our hair. 🖤
I loved this video. It was the 1st one I watched (like many people subscribed now). And I got it. You were being yourself and goofy and fun and never even thought it would blow up. Good job! Be you, have fun.
In 2016 I found your videos and you inspired me to cut my hair and I loved it! Now many years later I stumbled upon your channel again and found out you have million subs! I'm so happy for you! And honestly watching you gives me nostalgia and makes me suddenly want to cut my hair again even tho i'm just growing it longer and longer! Wah, I'm so happy I found your channel again after all these years! (feels like yesterday tbh, crazy!)
For me, It was your second death hawk video that I came across and I loved it. I subscribed and went back and watched all of your videos from the beginning. Congratulations on the million 😁
dude you literally inspired so many of my spontaneous hair moments and i’m a guy! aldjdh. side shaved, under cut. growing it out and then shaving the under cut again! you’re so cool.
This may be 3 years too late, but I feel I need to say it. You’re an amazing, beautiful person. I watched your deathhawk video a few years back and I’m just amazed at the skill and control you have in handling your hair, plus, every quirks and move you make just adds to your unique personality, so don’t spend one more minute giving an f- on what people say or think (they still viewed😊). I can see how reluctant you are with the attention you’re getting, but at the end of the day, I believe you’re making your content not to impress or satisfy others’ egos but for your own expression.
I used to watch your videos forever ago, i actually watched your death hawk video first. I lost your channel for a while but im really glad that i found it again!
You posted the first video around the time I broke up with my ex and I wanted to shave all my hair off for some reason and you gave me courage to do so... I loved my insanely short hair
Just the fact you can keep your hair lined up and NOT mess up is worthy of hitting 1million subs. Your hair shaving and dreadlock videos are a type of therapy for me. Keep doing what you do best. Much Love
i literally just gave myself a deathhawk the other day... i've been wanting to do it for YEARS since seeing your video - and i finally had to balls to do it! (and donated over two feet of hair, as well)
Congrats on 1 Million Subscribers, this is so awesome!!!!! I haven't been following your channel as long as some, however I absolutely have to tell you are wicked amazing, keep being you. I wanted let you know that you inspired my own hair transformation. My journey has been evolving for a bit less then a decade now, but after many changes, dye, under cuts, side cuts, I finally installed my first set of wool dread exstentions. Current hair colors is a natural dark ash, that goes to forest green, which fades to mint at the ends. I installed light beige blonde 30-40 inch dreads, sharpie like thickness. I absolutely love it and truly never would have done this change if it wasn't for your channel. Thanks again for teaching me to be brave and be my true self. PS. I totally got the craft ✂️🖕.😆
Your energy is awesome, I can't believe people were giving you so much shit about the dumbest stuff! One million subscribers say "just be you, and we'll be here"! Congrats!
You deserve the 1M subscribers and all the 55M views on your Deathhawk vid. I live a totally different life from you and i dress, cut and style my hair differently as well. Despite that, i always love watching your videos. I learn new things everytime i do. I first saw your Deathhawk vid in 2017 and i've seen it multiple times since then. It's just so fun to watch, I wouldn't change a thing, even you flipping and holding crafts scissors. Keep doing your thing, love from the Philippines 💕
I've been a subscriber for a few years now and I've never been disappointed, your videos are always the bomb and they're finally getting a portion of the attention they deserve! This is only the beginning, can't wait to see you do even bigger and better 💖
i usually watch your "giving myself another deathhawk" video when i am alone very late at night (like 4 am lol). it is maybe one of my favorite video bc i REALLY find myself in it like... i love your style, outfits, hairstyle everything, and i wish i had as much confidence as you about the way i dress (i don't wear goth clothes, but i always wear black outfits and my family doesn't understand that). and i watch it late at night bc i'm just alone, in peace, nobody bothers me etc. i can't find the precise words to describe this feeling but.. yeah basically, i just find myself in this video. i love the fact that you don't give a fuck about anything, shaving your head is kind of a "rebellious" act and it creates an atmosphere that i personally adore. this is why i LOVE this video, it symbolically means a lot to me
2 years ago, I watched your video when you where shaving your head for the first time and I absolutely loved it! Now I found your account again and you changed a lot! I really love youuu and you’re soo cute
Had your death hawk video in my recommendations a really long time ago and after i watched it i became obsessed with you and your videos (and i am still). Super glad i found you😁❤️ Congrats to 1 million subscribers!
Noooo!!! It's not called sideburns! It's (or was) called ear tails or side fringes (fringes/bangs were of course the part of hair that goes over one's forehead. As I remembered it back in 1990 when I did a shoulder length Manic Panic Purple hawk, I was TOO lazy to Aqua Net/eggwhites/gel it to a proper 10"+ hawk. Shite, mate! That's loads of time that I've not got on me hands.
It's so crazy to see you at 1 million! I've been here for like four years I think? And it's just so cool to see you grow and change. I freaking love you and your channel, just keep doing what you're doing girl!
The video shown and this video in general reminds me how much I've grown up. I've been a fan ever since that first video, just keep doing what you're doin.
The second deathhawk was unsurprisingly the first video of yours I saw, but I subscribed for Atomic Tropic. It's probably my most rewatched among your videos, I love the color combo and it turned out so damn well on you
Congrats on 1M!!! Your hair videos gave me the courage to give myself a mohawk, and I still have it and love it. Love you and all your content and will still be watching! Rock on 🤘🖤
I’ve been around since the second death hawk and I’m so proud of you! I love your videos so much, they make me so happy! Too much drama on RU-vid that I don’t want to hear about so I’m glad I get to watch your videos. You seems like such a sweet and humble person. It’s so cool that you thank people and acknowledge your subscribers because that seems rare anymore. Thank you for all that you do and I can’t wait to watch more videos in the future! 🖤🖤
Congratz on 1 million subs! I happen to be doing a reshave and install now. Thanks to your vids I’ve learned so much about good sectioning, installations and the ability to be my own person. I’m 46 this year and absoloutely love rocking my DE dreads. So happy for you! xx
You're sooo gorg and like.. real . Reminds me of the whole purpose of RU-vid. Just connecting regular people around the world. But srsly just wanted to say , you're goals
I’ve been loving your channel for years now, everytime I see a new video from you my gets instantly better, I’ve never done anything too drastic to my hair but I absolutely love your videos not only for your amazing hair but just your personality to you’re amazing and congrats for the 1 mil!!!!! You deserve it and so much more :)
I just gave myself a death hawk yesterday because of that deathhawk video. I watched that in like middleschool/high school so like... 6 years ago? more? and I couldn't ever just get it out of my head. My friend and I both saw the video and we both wanted to do it and I finally shaved it yesterday. I am so happy. That video meant a lot to me? It was like a guilty pleasure cause I always came back to that video. I always wanted to do it and I finally did. So thank you!
Congrats, you absolutely earned it! I've been watching for a few years now and am finally motivated to put in some synths! You gave me the initial confidence and know-how to cut in a death hawk so many years ago! Thank you!
I remember watching your deathhawk video in 2012. I was in high school and your video inspired me to embrace what I wanted to express, so I said screw it and my friend and I gave myself a deathhawk inspired by you! Thank you for making videos :)
If it wasn't for your first death hawk video, I would've never cut mine. I still have a death hawk to this day, and I just love the hair style so so much! Edit: Oh, and also, congrats on 1 million subscribers!
People need to chill when watching self hair cut/color videos, they’re fun to watch 😂 Maaaaaan I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since that video! I remember watching it when it came out and now it’s the first video that shows up when you search “Death hawk” on RU-vid! Congrats! Still following and will keep following you in your hair journey 😭
