I've said it before this is the Adam everyone wants to see traveling the back roads of America. Taking us all back to a better time when everyone wasn't in a rush to get nowhere

Eric Clapton was greatly influenced by Robert Johnson. He did an album of Robert Johnson music. That area around Greenwood, MS is like the holy grail to the blues. I’m glad I finally got to see it. Stuff like this is why I began watching Adam the Woo. Love it. 👍

I love gas stations from the 50’s and 60’s like the Phillips stations with the pointed red awnings or Mobil stations with the round gas pumps. There are only two of those pumps left and they’re in Sleepy Eye, MN. Shell stations had what is called the “ranch” style of architecture and may be the most re-purposed gas stations of all. They seem to be especially destined to become beauty parlors and floral shops. I think it’s a case of people recognizing good architecture without realizing it.

Listening to the birds and seeing the early morning fog takes me back to spending time at my grandparents in Tishomingo county Mississippi, Thanks for the memories Adam

Love Mississippi, tons of folklore & history not to mention home of the great blues players, Clarksdale Blues Museum has Muddy Waters original one room shack. The Delta , Vicksburg, Natchez Highway the original bootleggers Road with no stop signs beautiful State

I am loving this series of vlogs. My friend and I used to love to go to these kinds of out of the way places/ hidden treasures. I have to stop thinking about the abandoned buildings/ houses and who used to inhabit them because I become overwhelmed with nostalgia for days and people gone by.

Basically a Fallout 4 walkthrough- wandering around old deserted buildings, talking to stray dogs, reading Cola signs.

I was in Mississippi for 5 month for the Katrina clean-up. I was on roads I wish I never seen. It is a beautiful state, if I had the choice, I'd move there in a heartbeat. We started in Meridan and worked all the way to the gulf. Want to see some really hidden roads? Come to WVa.

Mississippi is my home state. My people hail from Philadelphia. Outside of Scooba is a former town called Electric Mills. My family used to hunt around there. We stayed in the former hotel and school there. I think all of those building are long gone. Remnants of a time gone by. Safe travels, my friend.... TB

We used to go every year when I was little, my half brother and sister lived there, but they moved to Alabama and I haven't been back. I've got to make it back out there some day!

**Wonderful** series of videos! I love the tiny, sleepy villages (I call them "villages" as that suggests a smaller place than a "town"). The empty roads through miles and miles of trees. Wonderful stuff!
