The ceramic container at 3:20 is probably a pallet. Watercolor paints used to come in little individual containers like that. Northern Mudlarks have had quite a few of them on their videos.

Hey there! Just a helpful tip- when stringing beads try dipping string ends in candle wax or hot glue. While it’s warm, roll between your fingers to create a point. It’s really helpful for me! Cheers!

Thanks for the tip. Another thing that helps is a Crazy glue. It is thinner and dries super fast. I had done this before but had forgotten about it thanks for the memory jog. I needed this the other day.💗

Simon - All you had to do was run your fingers through the sea glass & I began to drool. Then the first time you said "bottle shard" I thought I heard "bull shark" & that was exciting too. For a hot minute. Your craft skills are evolving beautifully, I must say! This is one of your best vids.

Hi Si, your beads and doll parts finds would make mudlarkers Kit and Caboodlers green with envy! Gorgeous finds; I prefer the sea glass to be as frosty as possible as that means it has been in the water the longest. Dark purple is my favorite 💜

Simon, the sea glass is beautiful! You can make a mosaic top of a table with these pieces, or a sign, and I am sure you can use your creativity to design so many possibilities. I would go back and collect as many as you can. Don't miss this opportunity!

Fantastic Simon! I love glass to, I don’t like it when it’s too frosted though as I think it looks too scratched up LOL! That’s why I prefer river glass 😉 the blue bottle was perfect for a tea light! Put a cuppa next to that please for the next visitor , thank you 😆 but wow the Beads and pipe stem look awesome put together! ⚓️👍⚓️

Without going to the end of the episode I can tell you that the tiny porcelain box is for a watercolour paint . It’s from a very old pallet box. I have some for my watercolours but unfortunately they are plastic. Functional but not very exciting. I can only imagine the lovely colour your find held. Kind regards…………..and now to watch the rest of your , as usual, entertaining video.

Wow, what a lovely collection of sea glass. You can fill a bag then divide into smaller bags and sell them. Awesome piece, the dark blue and green. The little bottle is shaped like a dress. Ladies product? Your Thames piece bracelet is lovely, as is the cobalt blue piece. Lots of treasures in that area. Wonderful place to spend morning at.

The little white ceramic box is an old paint box. The Northern Mudlarks love them and use them when they do their tiny artwork pieces.

Wow so many beads! I`m not sure if anyone has said but your little black cat is a Czech glass charm. Yours was for luck! I have one my grandmother carried around in her purse for years. They sometimes came on cards with good luck written on them. Stunning find! :) :)

A week ago, I didn't know that mudlarking existed, but RU-vid started feeding me your videos after a couple of months of me watching Time Team videos. I SO want to do this now. I would be picking up all the pottery and china pieces. I love that stuff! Now to figure out where in the Mid-Atlantic I could do this. Thanks for the inspiration!

The nice thing about beachcombing is that one can stay clean ; ) and enjoy tranquil waves at the same time . One loves that haha .I used to sell seaglass mostly to America .Our seaglass victorian marbles are highly prized in the seaglass world . Lucky to live near one of the best seaglass beaches in Britian and found five seaglass victorian marbles in the last two days . Anyways Seaglass is my thing so had to watch this . Happy hunting see ya at the beach .

What a beautiful spot for getting some Sea glass. The first time I found a piece of Sea glass it was Emerald Green and I really thought that it was an emerald and I’ve often thought about putting it into a ring because it’s just so beautiful. Really love the colour cobalt. I remember having the cobalt glass eye rinser, as my mom would call it. someone at her wedding in 1953 made them a little first aid kit as a wedding gift and that was in it. It was handy to have. I really enjoy your crafts and those beads were so cool that you made and the bracelet turned out great!! Thanks for another great video!!🌊🐬

Here in America, we often find very very old artifacts - some from as far back as 1983 (LOL)! Heck, some of our houses are from the Dark Ages (the age of Disco) from around 1973-1979; and yes, I've seen shag carpet and a quad stereo...

17.22 FRONT collar stud, indicated by the long shank. back collar stud would have a short shank. Used to attach starched/stiff collars to a man's shirt.

Does anyone know why Brits pronounce Sixth like this phonetically....(SIK-th) whereas Americans pronounce it (SIKS-th). They do not pronounce the "S" in sixth. I know there is no S in there but it is pronounced with an S. In other words we do not pronounce the number 6 like SIK we pronounce it like SIKS. Who is pronouncing it correctly. I was just watching a show called Worst Jobs and the also omitted the s in six . They said sik-th. Are both ways correct?

The beads,that’s the one thing that you folks do that I can truly comment on,with knowledge! That one little bead,red outer coating,with a white core,that’s a great little white heart bead,I want to say CornalineD’Aleppo. Lewis and Clark brought loads of them,because the eastern tribes loved them. But when they made their way to the western plains,where blue sky ruled,they were like,”ahh crap,we should have packed more blue ones!!” Those blue ones are known sometimes as “Chierf’s beads” because they had so few,and only gave them to the tribal leaders

Little White Box? A Salt Cellar? To Serve Individual Salt At A Meal? Nice Blue Eye Wash Cup ! Up On A Shelf, The Little Blue & White Bowl Would Look Whole. I'd Love A BUCKET Of That SEA GLASS To Rummage Through For Treasures ! A Lot Of Those Small Beads Will Probably Slip INSIDE The Pipe Stems. Need Bigger Beads For That Project Perhaps. Guess Not ! Very Pretty Bracelet !

Great stuff Simon ! That Mrs. Allan must have made a fortune peddling that quackery ! Loved the bracelet, light colours, great for summer on a tanned arm. All that sea glass - Nicola would love that to make her fishes 🐟🙂

Loved all the beads, the Optrex eye bath, but most of all loved the Czech Charm cat. I’ve several bought Czech Charms (I’ll tag you on IG) and one very sea worn one.

Eye bath. The hammer thing looks as if the inside was used as an early spanner, to counter sink or retract wood or metal ‘plugs’ onboard. The clear bottle with horizontal lines could be an early vozene (spelling?) shampoo
