I had a friend who used to run a trailer park. There was some people who left and didn't clean out their storage shed. It was full of patterns and fabric. She had a yard sale and women were showing up from the state over to get some of those patterns.

I had one of those Grill to Go units. I loved it's portability, with the folding legs separate from the grill unit. It was used plenty of times at the beach, where open flame grills were prohibited. The flame is contained beneath the grill surface, and the grill is a solid piece, with no openings which avoids flare ups. I used to set it up for our scouts to use all weekend at weekend campouts. I eventually donated it to our former scout unit, after my son aged out of scouting, and I ceased being a scout leader after about 15 years.

So many good items in great condition that he and Houston and Jacoby or DJ can learn to use and enjoy. Who knows, we may all wish n want things like Coleman propane grills, lanterns, n heaters before this country gets back on its legs. This past two years on our country has been pretty rough and it looks like it's going to get rougher with potential depression, esg digital banking, etc coming with our military weaker than ever.

Oh, my! She did leave a couple of great treasures you guys can use! The implements for the skid steer sure make quick work of the trees and moving big piles of "trash." @teresamariner4238
@teresamariner4238 Год назад
@@andy6043 Kevin over at Hidden Heights Farm had buzzards in their rock house on their lake property. They finally were able to put in new windows, a new roof, and closed in with boards the two small areas near the roof and walls junction at the peak so no more buzzards inside, but they watched from the trees and strongly often complained that their secluded, protected nursery was no longer available for their potential next generation. I know Daniel is wanting to save the barn but he may need to wait til the baby birds hatch, get their feathers, and grow big enough to fly away. Then he'll need to clean out, power wash, and close it up so they can't get back in.

that electric skillet is truly a find. find a collector of vinyls (records). There are some here in East Tennessee. Hopefully there's some near where you live. Vinyls are a big hit right now. A cabinet maker might be interested in the wall units. I wouldn't give up on some of it. Those jars of jellies should still be good. The best way to find out is to pop the lids.

Country & Bluegrass. I had forgotten about her guitar from back then until you said the brand of name of the one you found! Sure brings back fond memories! Miss my mama. She passed away 10 yrs. ago this month. Also, I am a seamstress. Was amazed at all the patterns! I started sewing around 1975 & still at it. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. One person’s junk is another man’s treasure….. A very true saying ! Your certainly making a great start on clearing the bushes and trees, that machine certainly is a great thing the way it pulls the trees out of the ground. That old barn certainly looks like it should remain but might be too costly in time and materials to put it back to a decent condition. Possibly a museum would restore it back to its original condition. Great video as always. Take care and stay safe.

Also a tip, if those are plum tree's, save some of the smaller branches (from 1 - 5" in diameter) and use to smoke meat with, we got some from a local orchard of pear and apple branches from storm damage or if a apple tree is taken down we get as much as we can and split the thicker stuff and use that on the fire pit when cooking steaks, burgers and other meats. The smaller branches we bring them home cut them down to 1-2 feet long, stack and let dry then cut into 1/2" wide slices, soak and toss on the smoker grill. Especially good mixed with mesquite chips with poultry (aka beer can chicken LOL).

Score! The grill and heaters, and chair! For that rifle, search RU-vid how-to for "electrolysis" rust removal from cast iron. I'll bet the same process will work on that old .22 as well. Once you get it clean, convert the rust to blacken it and some Boiled Linseed Oil for the wood furniture. Some grease/oil as needed and it should make for a nice wall hanger. Good to see the hatchlings are doing good. Send those turkey vultures a bill for rent.

My cousin's husband made bows. When they visited us back in the early 90's they took some burdock apples back to Iowa and planted them in their yard. A couple of the trees flourished and supplied Rick with many fine bows. I had an electric skillet when I was younger, loved it so much I bought a new one last year. Glad you returned that guitar to the previous owner. She probably forgot it was there. You got a lot of good stuff for the cabin. Geese and turkey chicks doing well. That vulture nest is super cool, but don't let Houston try to hatch those eggs out! Let the mama vulture have the fun of raising chicks. Just keep us updated. Daniel, I wanted to make a comment about that old lunch box that you found. My grandfather, Rev. Norman Guy Frame lived in a sawmill town called Swandale, West Virginia from 1926-1966 he went there with his wife my grandmother and raised 8 children. He operated the furnace of the creosote vats where the mill cut, then soaked the railroad ties in creosote which is a thin oil, similar to tar. They treated them and it repelled insects. He carried a lunch box just like the one you found in that abandoned property. Before my grandmother passed away, she gave it to my mom. And when my mom passed away my father gave it to me. I have it setting in my dining room inside my China hutch. Mom told me when his meal was packed,. It would be pinto beans in the bottom the tray that you could remove held cornbread or biscuits and sliced meat like cured ham or fried chicken. The cup on top was for coffee and water. The foreman had coffee brought to the site for the workers and water breaks were permitted, and varied with the season. My eyes lit up when I saw that old lunch pail. It brought back so many memories. God bless you Daniel. 🙏😇

I'm excited about the turkey vulture's nest! Yeah, they're ugly and even stink but they are invaluable to the Circle of Life. If you really take the time and make an effort to study them you'll find just how remarkable they are. I hope you keep us updated on them and showcase the babies when they hatch. Don't let the dogs follow you in the barn though. I don't know if the adults are protective of their babies or not but don't want to find out at the expense of one of your dogs. I do know they have very sharp and powerful beaks and talons. Also, thank you for letting us know that the guitar was picked up. Usually student models aren't worth much but they can certainly hold beautiful memories. I'm glad to know your brother is salvaging building materials and hardware before the house is torn down. My bedroom door and hardware was salvaged from an old house I inherited. It was my neighbor's house, the eyesore of the neighborhood. He was my best friend for 13 years before he died. An old sailor, I learned a lot from him. I could go on and on to describe what a wonderful person he was. Yes, he lived in squalor but it was because he retired early to care for his mother. She was 99 at the time of her death. He was 76 at his. I buried him at Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas. The DFW National Cemetery was still in the planning stages. Phew! My "comment" has turned out to be a novel!

This girl from the north knows the value of the electric fryer/skillet. My mom made great chicken in it too. Lots of value in those sewing patterns!! i.e. A lot of RU-vidrs doing retro sewing.

Hello from Texas 76" I looked up that lunch pail and the top is a water cup. Looked it up on Pinterest. I couldn't remember if it was square or round. But that is what that is. Love your channel and your videos. Love Nana 76"

Hi Daniel. Wow, that grapple hook on your machine really is priceless. I know that farm equipment can be expensive, but it does so many jobs in such a short time. Plus you can do this yourself saves money! Very cool 😮

That sewing stuff and patterns are priceless. Putting them in a yard sale, you would have ladies fighting over the patterns. 1 womans trash is anothers treasure.

This was oddly satisfying to watch the clean up! I know you probably don't feel like it, but it seems to be moving along quickly! Looking good and enjoy those treasures!

Daniel, So sorry for your loss I know how you feel. We lost our Peedee our Chihuahua he died unexpectedly. That's been a year and we still miss him. He was the most loving and the sweetest dog I've ever seen. He was loved and he loved us. The pain will get better.
