What blows me away is they live on three different continents and are never in the same place--each one records the audio and does the videos alone and then they are combined. How they synchronize it all is truly amazing. And then there are the vocals....
Agreed I’ve been listening to it on repeat since it came out. My favorite drop used to be in Voiceplay’s version of the Halo Theme but this beats that easy
This was so good that geoff mentioned it in their monthly livestream. He asked the others if they saw it. I was so happy to hear that geoff saw it. And also a joy to watch your reactions. :)
To be fair, she single-handeddly put this song back on the field this year after its short lifespan in 2018, so she deserve to sing it with multiple group.
I was nervous when I heard they did this also as I’m a huge VoicePlay fan as well as a recent Bass Gang fan. But I shouldn’t have been. These are such distinctive treatments of the same song using the same featured artist, and both spectacular in totally different ways. This is decidedly spookier! You are the first person I’ve heard that caught the Poltergeist reference! And it is kind of hard for me to keep watching it because I just keep thinking of The Shining and it just creeps me out. If you have watched the original by Vocaloid, or the English translation by Lizz Robinett, then you know the original storyline. The girl is possessed by a demon and she’s chasing after a little boy. At the end she catches him and he becomes a demon. I thought that was really interesting that they chose to use that in this video. Lauren is obviously the demon in the first half of the song. But then when Marwin changes his tone from that deep deep deep to a higher tone for just a second and he doesn’t look as scary that is the time when the demon captured the little boy. I might be reading way too much into it, but it really hit me that it’s so similar to the original storyline.
They hired Dylan Locke to work with them on the video-I think it was money exceptionally well spent. Their previous videos have been awesome considering the resources they have access to, but this really took it to the next level. They just keep outdoing themselves. Great reaction, Dennis!!
@@embran8486 still it is very expensive and I am still learning how to hit these low notes and I am getting better at every day I practice and practice makes perfect
@@Guest.7289_2 Thanks for correction on peter, but you´re wrong about Tomi. usually i would say inhale note thatbtoo, but going back to peter´s analysis he explicitly states all the boys doing subharmonic except him.
Denis, I’d like to suggest you do another react-ception but not qofy this time, but Kaz and Sarah (Kazanrda brock) they did the double feature, both versions of ding dong, VP and Bass Gang. It’s hilarious
Well, I like to see your reactions, I subscribed to the first one I saw, and I saw all of the bass gang's, but you have to fix the mix, the video is heard low compared to your voice, which results in a heart attack for my every time you comment hehe, I still love the content. PS: I don't know if you fixed the mix in the later videos. :)
That was a compliment to both groups. VoicePlay for who they are and what they bring to the table and The Bass Gang for clear progress with each project. There is no going overboard with my comment. It was apples to apples on the same song.
Its not overboard what so ever, voiceplay is incredible, they got me into this kind of music, but the bass gang and marwan especially are straight prodigies
