Welcome to the month of April’s recap. We received varied feedback on whether to include names in the video, but we believe recognition is important. Let’s dive straight into the highlights of the month without delay. As the winter fades into memory, the cunning snook have been lying in wait, stealthily emerging from their hiding spots to grace us with their presence once more. It's a thrilling sign that the vibrant underwater world is coming back to life after the colder months.
A lone beaten and battered sheepshead made a cameo. Despite our eager anticipation, not a single shark graced us with its presence this month. But fear not, for the thrill of the hunt lives on! Pompano, what seemed to be the masters of disguise, kept us guessing as they blended seamlessly into their surroundings like underwater ninjas.
And let's not overlook the majestic silver kings-the tarpon-ruling the waters with their presence, making more frequent appearances. But the true star of the show? The elusive octopus, captivating us with its mysterious nocturnal antics. Yet even its mesmerizing display couldn't escape the relentless wiper, pushing it away from our dome in a whirlwind of excitement.
As April draws to a close, we regret to inform you that our underwater camera experienced a malfunction and will be undergoing much-needed maintenance. We kindly ask for your patience as we work diligently to get it back up and running for your viewing pleasure.
