We did this in the early seventies when we were kids. One of us would hold our dog and all of us would run FAR into the woods and hide. Old Abe found every one of us every time. Pretty amazing how they can sniff you out.

I try messing with my Husky and she just looks at me like I am dumb. They are hard to trick and sometimes I think she feels sorry for me and plays a long to make me happy 😂

That is just way too funny! It makes miss my 3 dogs that we had that have all passed away. We have a large home with many rooms. I used to turn off most lights at night with just a couple night lights on around the home. When my wife was away, I would then hide whistle or make noises. They would in a line go all through the house looking for me. There was our big Walker hound, Beagle & Bichon Frise all hunting for me. My favorite hiding spot was in the shower in the 2nd BR in the middle of our home. None liked taking baths so this was a great spot. Until the Beagle got wise. Your dogs are lucky they have a great great dad & mom to play with them. Shalom

The reason dogs are colorblind is because it helps them see the differences between things that appear to be nearly the same to us. The "texture" of the material is much easier to make out. Try this again with real leaves or trimmings from another bush and they would have much more trouble

My guess is that dogs eyes perceive a different light index, & although we don't see much difference between the foliage and bush-suit, they are instantly unconvinced by what they're seeing.

I guess she would have to put on some kind of flower parfum to cover her natural scent. The dogs will always detect her by smelling her.

How do I guys keep the house clean from dog hair I’m curious I have a husky but he’s outside for that reason sheds wayyy too much

Imagine if the decided to pee on the bush 😅

Perhaps try again, but this time, before putting on the bush costume, spray body with Febreze as well as the leaves on the costume. Just don't spray inside the house where the dogs will figure it out. This MIGHT confuse their sense of smell.

The dog I had, a cocker spaniel, was much smarter. It just put it's nose down and followed my track. I have tried it multiple times. It could smell where I had walked.
