The kind of anger she shows just reminds me of Connor’s outburst at Evan earlier in the show; and then we see the little Zoe just smile through her tears. Like Connor not understanding how she could be happy through everything, while he... well, you know. Even though she really isn’t happy. She’s just faking it. Did I explain that well enough? Idk

I love the rapid cuts of the family’s dysfunction during “In a lovely little lie” and the age transition from 2:05 to 2:08. All the movements are so natural.

I think it's kinda pointless hiding your feelings. You miss out on a lot and it kinda makes it harder to really be happy and it gets exhausting over time. I used to think the same way as she did, but now I just see that it's just pointless hiding your feelings, at least most of the time. It just takes some courage to not try and hide your feelings. When you tell people about it there's almost 1 of two things that could happen; they either support you or they don't. Usually, most people are the ones who do support you, so you should just show more of your feelings. It's pretty possible that they would help you and it won't be as bad as you think. But just a thought. :T
