Hi Guy! Today we are going over a great way on how to hide the grid on your synthetic wig. This is one of my must-do's that I tell people when people ask me how to make a wig look natural. In this wig tutorial, we are going to hide the grid on one of my favorite synthetic wigs. In this wig tutorial, we will cover one of my newly found wig hacks that you should do to all of your synthetic wigs. Hiding the grid on a synthetic wig has never been easier.

This is a good idea. I use scar tape on the inside of the wig & concealer or powder on the outside. I like it because it’s super hot in Texas .

Jessie, I did not realize you made a wig spray in scented and unscented! The ingredient list of the original sounds like it would beautifully fragranced. I will be purchasing.

Which color is that you’re using? And would you use that same color on wigs with dark roots also? I looked on Amazon and they don’t have many colors so I may have to order it from the website (which isn’t a problem) but I am curious what your answers will be to my 2 questions. Thank you for putting all of these videos out there! You do an amazing job!

I would use the tone that matches your skin so it blends in with your hairline and also looks like the hair is coming out of your scalp.

@@JesseMSimons Thank you doll! Do you use that color on your dark rooted wigs also? Also, my head circumference is 22.5 - I noticed several wigs on Chelsey’s website cut off at 22. Do you think they would work for me?

@@BeKindAlways1 yes I would use that shade on al of my wigs regardless of hair color the goa is for it to look like your scalp. And as far at the wig size goes yes they should fit fine. They are a standard size that fits everyone unless it says petite I would steer away from those they will be to small for you.

I wonder if paraffin wax would do the same thing, then put the concealer on the top part. Would that be an inexpensive solution? I will have to try that too. Good video.

Is it soft? It needs to be soft enough for you to blend it into the grid and you would also want it to be your skin tone. If you try it let me know how it works!! 😊

@@JesseMSimons No it is clear, you know the stufff your aunt used to seal jelly? That is it. You would have to use concealer on the other side. I will try it..

It's sort of difficult to see the difference on a blonde wig. Have you used it on a brunette wig that you could show us, maybe? I've had my eye of this product for a while, but am afraid it won't do what I want it to do. Your video is super helpful though, thank you!

I can absolutely take a photo and post it to my youtube on how well it works on a brunette wig I’ve used it on a few and it is great for hiding the knots and lace!

That looks great !! However I checked the colours online and the lighest is Nude. I am usually porcelaine so even nude seems darker than my skin... :/ Can I mix it with my foundation?

I wouldn’t recommend that since it could affect the consistency it you can still “paint” concealer in the part on top of this product if you need to lighten it up more.

Great Scott! I have to try this. I have a few wigs that have a pink tint to the lace and it does not match my warm toned skin. Do you think this would help blend the pink/cool toned lace to a warm tone?

I’ve never had that issue. I also like to “set” it with powder now. I’m going to be doing an updated video and I will definitely test out the heat as well. 😊

Hi Jesse, Thank you for your amazing videos. Just wondering what you recommend for a liner under the wig to absorb sweat when working out and any ideas on how to remove the white precipitate residue from hairspay products. I tried most hairsprays for wigs but still they leave "snowflake" residue.

I like micellar water to remove build up on the lace and root area and then I do a clarifying wash when needed with Dawn dish soap. For sweating I’m getting in something that is supposed to help. I will be doing a video on it soon!

Do you not heat it up in a cup of warm/hot water first?

You can I was given some extra tips from the company afterwards. I don’t personally like to warn it up because it gets “runny” fast but they suggested warming it up first. I do take a small amount of heat from my blow dryer when I’m done to the wig to smooth it all out and that works really well!! 😊

I would not recommend that. It's not the same texture, and it would dissolve as you wore it and would not give you the same results.
