Thanks, I think it makes the headband look better. Someone else asked if it would be possible to slim down the original padding so I may give that a go in another video when the head straps are ready.

Yeh, I did a video on the custom one pro a while ago and I also had some old military headphone that had a slider to make them open... The iris is cool though ;) I was thinking of some kind of clicker or something so you could count the clicks to tell how open you have them without having to take them off. I am not 100% certain but I think if you make the opening big enough the bass starts to go back down again.. This is just a proof of concept at the moment so hopefully I can do some proper testing soon

@@CustomCans Yeah thats a great idea , Clicks will help people a lot. I still can not understand why headphones doesnt have that bass port . ABout the opening yeah thats exactly like you said if it gets big enought its starting to be Open back with no sub bass at the end.

If you go with the goat skin ones, they are suede on one side, that would be nice on that chrome dome ;)

A red head strap would be easy enough. The cost involved in making the end parts in metal would be too high to make it worth while. It would cost almost as much to replace the whole headband

We ship a lot to the US, It is a pretty civilised country with a half decent postal system so stuff usually gets to where it is supposed to be pretty reliably. Packages don't get shot at nearly as often as you would assume from watching the news ;) But in all seriousness... Shipping to the US is much easier than a lot of European countries for us these days.

If the spring steel at the top is too loos now, this mod may help as it will help pull the sides in a bit. Or... I think we probably have a few half dismantled headbands knocking around and we could sell you a new one

We did try a load of different ways of attaching it with poppers and hooks and stuff but this was probably the best and easiest to produce for us

I have had the headband apart and de-chonkifitation should be possible. When I have them ready for sale I will do a video on how to fit them and will try to do that then

Yes I can do that. We are hoping to start stocking the Edition XS soon so I need to get to know them a bit better to see if there is any more goodness we can squeeze out of them

@@CustomCans i did see a vid from z reviews about pad swaps and using balanced headphone cable. and saw that fantastic flat cable you use, looks great worth it to save up for as it gives that aesthetic charm to a setup. im sure whatever i pick my zen air dac/zen can stack can run them. thank you again for listening out for newbies like me.

No - we will be trying a few different drivers on them but the HE400 drivers are a bit big for what I am trying to do
