In one of his early interviews for Musiqueplus, Jonny says "Colin got me in the band so I'm always grateful." and Colin responds to that by saying "No, I'm grateful." In addition, in one of his interviews that I couldn't find again, Jonny says something like "making music with Thom is the best thing". but as I said, I don't exactly remember what he said so you should approach this statement with caution. Once I encountered a tweet which I really loved regarding the structure of Radiohead: I think the account belonged to someone named Joshua, who said that "Radiohead is what happens when 5 musical geniuses are all in the same band and what's best for the songs matters more than the individual parts." I think that's a well put description of their art and I agree...
