It’s channels like Stories, Jam in the van, KEXP, Tiny desk, Paste mag, Sofar, Mahogany, The Shed, etc. that brings about compos mentis and transports me to another plane where contentment reigns.

I haven't looped a video this hard in a while! Rett's vocals just draw you in like a moth to the flame, while the acoustics weave this warm blanket around it
I can't express how happy I am to have found this version. I have been longing for exactly that for years, always felt it would benefit from a strong female voice. Thank you so much, I will cherish it forever
I personally think this performance is one of the most beautiful and emotional I have ever seen. Take a momento to just appreciate how clean and distinguishable the sound of the voice and the instruments are, how the lady and the guys are so into the song and the execution of it and... jesus... that first chord at the refrain... makes our souls feel in a strange place for a second and then, quickly, brings us back to home with the next chord. Damn you guys, that is so fucking beautiful that get me in chills EVERY time. And I have watched this a lot. Thank you. I love this song.
Wow. Rett’s voice and the two guitars are perfect. The woman can sing, what a range. 3:12 Owww!! What a strong voice! Sheesh. Rett's power in that last chorus was absolutely mesmerizing! I'm a fan.
Lyric : "High & Dry" Two jumps in a week I bet you think that's pretty clever, don't you boy? Flying on your motorcycle, Watching all the ground beneath you drop You'd kill yourself for recognition, Kill yourself to never ever stop You broke another mirror, You're turning into something you are not Don't leave me high, don't leave me dry Don't leave me high, don't leave me dry Drying up in conversation, You'll be the one who cannot talk All your insides fall to pieces, You just sit there wishing you could still make love They're the ones who'll hate you When you think you've got the world all sussed out They're the ones who'll spit at you, You'll be the one screaming out Don't leave me high, don't leave me dry Don't leave me high, don't leave me dry It's the best thing that you ever had, The best thing that you ever, ever had It's the best thing that you ever had, The best thing you have had has gone away So, don't leave me high, don't leave me dry Don't leave me high, don't leave me dry Don't leave me high, Don't leave me high, don't leave me dry
Thanks for sharing the lyrics! Beginning at "They're the ones who'll hate you..." and the next couple lines... did I completely miss them in the song or are they omitted from this version? Lol
Rhett has that rare type of sound that leaves you feeling all warm, cozy & content on the inside. It’s like she isn’t from this time period. Her voice is like Fleetwood Mac, Nora Jones & Mazzy Star made a baby in a Petri dish. Just absolutely breathtaking, hypnotizing & always leaving you wanting more
Love the differences in the guitars! One finely adjusted Dreadnought with a fancy capo. And a Handpainted Square guitar with a colorful capo. Complements eachother beautifully!

Coming back for this cover ... I could hear it 10 million times and it would still blow me away. The mix. The instruments. The VOCALS. Pure perfection. You get my Grammy.
I could listen to this lovely young lady sing all day. She swoops you up and makes you feel the musical experience she has created. She is incredibly gifted!👏👏👏
