My favorite highend cushion is the Sulwhasoo Perfecting cushion, it has great coverage, natural skin like finish, and it gives a healthy brightening effect. Unfortunately, I did not like the highly rated Hera UV Mist. Other brands that I'd found to be surprisingly good are the Missha M Magic cushion (X Line Friends) & the April Skin Magic Snow cushion (Black). Please do a road shop cushion review!
This was just not a good video it seemed like she didn't even look over the compacts before she went on screen and was just rambling and saying stuff she wasn't sure about or things that weren't even relevant
I checked and the YSL Cushion does come with a refill, but it's around $40 for a single refill.. I think $70 for a cushion foundation is too expensive. There are more affordable ones that work just as great.
This video is sooooooooooooooooooo helpful!!!!!!! It really helps me understand bb cushions. I was looking at a few diy bb cushion videos but some of the best ones are in Korean with no subtitles and it was a serious learning curve. This is so helpful. Thank you.
I have the Hera one (that exact version actually lol) and it's fantastic. I have dry combo skin and even the regular uv mist works for dry skin, but probably in the winter I'll have to get the ultra moisture one just cuz I get really dry. If you have semi troublesome skin the C line (there's C and N c for cover n for natural) covers reallllyyyyy well like I was surprised at how well it covered my acne given cushions don't cover much to start with. By itself it's great and if you use it with the Etude house face blur WOOOO yes girl. It's worth the money tbh
Can you please do a rating of the best drugstore oil makeup removers/ cleaners or any recommendations for the best ones? As someone who is not Korean I love Korean skincare as it's more gentle and specialised than western skincare but i don't really know about a lot of Korean products and most of my information comes from RU-vid so I find this to be a really helpful series xx
I swear by the Amore Pacific one! My skin has never looked so good and natural in my life, every other foundation I tried made my skin look like I’d been rolling in flour. 😂
From what i heard the mesh on the inner lids are just to prevent product from escaping , and also the gauze like cushion for the lancome one is for antibacterial purposes and better control of product dispensing :) i think more research needs to be done, so hope this wld help!
In italy you can buy the refill of the ysl and it is cheaper as a high foundation. It is around €40 (i don't know how much is in your change! sorry!) ☺️💕
this Iope cushion and Innisfree cushion (not featured) are the best color matches for me~ and price wise it's equivalent to Hera~ I think Hera is usually too pink for me.
Thanx Kasper for this Ep, it's really helpful. For me I use HERA N25, since I start use it I like it very much & everyone ask me about my foundation when I use it.
Although I don't really know how dark you mean, unfortunately Korean cushions always come in 1-3 shades that don't come anywhere close to anyone's definiton of dark, the only cushion I've heard of that has the full spectrum of shades is the Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion, luckily it has really good reviews so you might want to check that out
If you have darker skin you're better off looking at reviewers with similar skin tones to you. The Korean market has a specific market they target and only Laneige has a range with Sephora that has a larger shade range.
Sadly, Amore Pacific has reinvented their "kids" cushion foundation packaging. IOPE new cushion has new design, so do etude house and laneige. Im not sure whether they will keep both, old and new packaging on the market, or they will discontinue the old packaging. RIP to all my limited edition cases. 😭😢
+jjssyy some lip tints chap ur lips more than others, the lasting power varies too, the blendability, the pigmentation, the price, the finish eg. Matt, shine, moist, sheer, etc. Yeah road shop cushions or bb creams, foundation, concealers and powder.
+Hui-Ling Chang i find wearing lip balm then let it sit for a while before wiping it off works for me, and it does not make my lips chapped. although it does varies on people. :-) if u read korean, u can actually download the beauty app Glowpick and they have the ranking list@ all chosen by reviewers for all sorts of beauty products.
+jjssyy would I still be able to make things out if I don't read korean? Tony moly liptone get it tint chaps my lips no matter what I do. I read online that tony moly is the worst in terms of chapping and peripera is the best in terms of not chapping ur lips.
Hui-Ling Chang yup definitely! when youre on the home page, there will be a word 더보기 which is in red, so you can click on it and there will be a popup list. you can explore yourself on what is what, but ill help you out on the main division: - skincare - cleansing - base makeup - makeup (lipstick, mascara, blush etc theres a lot) - mask/pack - suncare - functional makeup (wrinkle care, trouble care, pore care) - body/hand/foot - hair - nail - female hygiene - circle lens - perfume - makeup tools (brush, sponge etc) - baby & mom - body line (body slimming, diet supplementaries) - male cosmetics it doesn't make any sense now, but when you've downloaded it, you'll know exactly what i mean! if you are looking for tint product specifically, click the makeup tab (4th from top down) and then click on 립틴트 which is third from top down. i hope this helps you because it has definitely helped me a lot! the reviews here are a lot more straightforward and aren't as biased so it helped my decision when i'm buying something. :-D
they're all good but some are more expensive, different undertone, and coverage so choose depending on your needs based on the information from the video
