High Five Rewards | Scam?

Not my usual content, but wanted to publish this just so any new creators can find it. I was skeptical that "High Five" rewards were a scam. But they really are real. And just to prove it here we are unboxing the Neo Play sign I got in a recent giveaway with High Five.
I doubt I'll ever get a Silver Play button, but this little Neon one have me a nice warm fuzzy feeling, like my efforts are still recognized and it'll take pride of place on my desk.

Never say your not going to reach your subscriber goal. If it can happen to me then it could happen for you. You never know when one of your videos is going to hit it off. Good luck. Great video.

I honestly never thought i'd hit 1k, it took 2 years.... and getting to 1k was always my target. I've now surpassed that by more than I could have initially imagined. But 100k is a lot! I don't mind though if I never get there, I do this mostly for fun and as a way of documenting what I do for personal revisiting for when I forget how to fix something. 🤣

I hope they get them back in as I'm sure a lot of small channels would really appreciate one and use them in their videos which is good advertisement for YT. Thanks for the Sub, I'll make sure I let everyone know if I get more from High Five.

I just got that e-mail as well. Done some research and still not sure if it's legit or not.. on the plus side, everyone does some to get their prizes though!

It seems really dodgy but is actually legit. I got my RU-vid sign, it's in my profile pic. And they do pop up in RU-vids own branded videos.

I got the email, cannot for the life of me find where in the email the code is. Is it a separate email?

I think you get an initial invite, you'll then register and I think he code is sent after that.

I was really annoyed i missed out on this because i tried to get on the site and it wasn't working due to the high amount of traffic and i went to sleep and woke up and logged on and it was out of stock, i was proper gutted

Its interesting how many creators, myself included, have felt this was a scam because there just isn't enough solid info out there for us. It's a shame the Neon sign isn't a longer term gift, for me it feels like a junior Play button, and something far more small channels will see as attainable. 100k for a play button is a lot, but getting to 1k is far more likely a target for small specialized channels.

Aw man. I’ve been getting random emails from this high five thing I thought it was just some spammy stuff or pats on the back from RU-vid, not actual tangible stuff. I got another one today and actually decided to read it and looks like it’s legit! I got a free AMC ticket but when I looked back at the old email I totally missed the pizza and the neon sign. So sad :C it’s nice they’re doing this though. Closest thing to a play button for smaller channels! I hope there are more limited time freebies in the future. I’m still surprised I could’ve gotten it though. I’m just some small non commentary gaming channel.

Argh! I think, and now I'm really wracking my brain, but I think I did have an initial issue but I can't recall how I resolved it.🤦‍♂️ Perhaps just reset my password a second time. I hope you get it sorted soon.

Yeah I got it really quick. Check your email address you had registered. I registered against a new channel specific addresses and I'd forgotten to check there initially.

I've seen a big surge in viewers for this video today, seems High Five have a whole heap of new freebies, 30% off logitech seems pretty good to me. Are they still offering the neon Play button?

Yeah you need to sign in now and then. Check when existing offers end and a week or so later new ones appear. Currently I think they're doing a 30% deal on Logitech gear. Could score yourself a bargain.
